It’s very clear that academics (and pop-science pseuds) are attempting to argue that masculinity is a culture, and not the logical progression from a universal men’s experience. What these people fail to realize, often because they themselves are not emotionally mature men, is that toxic masculinity (and femininity) stems from a lack of cultural guidance for men or women. So by deconstructing men’s “culture”, they are actually destroying men’s culture.
