Someone I talked to once said to me ‘Happy Hunting’ in regards to gaming woman. I liked it.

I was just finishing up a conference call while benching 5 plates. But yea about your question, work smarter.

The problem is that during work it also happens when I repeatedly lift those 10-25kg crates. A lifting belt would not help in that situation. How do I prevent the tensing up and twitching of the lower back?

It’s not really fine. The lower back soreness is bothering me, during deadlifts my lower back completely tenses up after 1 set, with good form

Yea, I can control my spinal erectors. Should I tighten those during a lift?

Feel you. Went from working out 14 hours a week to just playing a round of golf now and then. Shit fucked me up good mentally. Just sit it out I guess, slowly build back up your routines.

Damn you perfectly described him. He indeed does that weird shadow boxing between sets etc. Haven’t seem him do it for the past few weeks, staff must have told him to stop. He uses the boxing bag sometimes. I am scared of him, but mostly because I had some pretty bad experiences with ethnic minorities in the past (middle eastern). I think I am automatically labeling him as a threat because of those memories (especially when it gets validation by some of his actions). Hard to get rid of that prog…

It’s not about the dude, but the situation in general. I haven’t had a situation like this before, this is why I am asking for advice, so I can deal with it accordingly now and in the future. All I got so far is mostly virtue signaling and AMOGing (the irony) in the comments.

Agreed, we avoid each other for the most part anyway. Guess I am not used to people being unfriendly with me for jack shit. Guess it’s a consequence for living in a bubble (University student)

Lol, I hadn’t had a single wet dream in my life until I started NoFap. Nowadays when I do NoFap I start having wet dreams 1-2 weeks in and it’s annoying, because it feels like a relapse.

Solid advice, thanks man. I actually agree with you on lifting being a drug. I had a pretty bad gambling addiction for most of my life, but the only thing keeping me clean consistently is lifting. Which is why I put so much importance on it. I think striving to balance it with other meaningful activities will be a great overall goal for me. Also the relationship I have with work is pretty toxic. I prefer comfort and instant gratification over doing hard shit. And it’s such a easy trap to fall in…

I feel like challenges only work for the moment. I did NoFap for like 3 months at some point, but eventually I regressed back into old habits, because it wasn’t sustainable. Maybe I got some lessons from it, which I think is what you are trying to say. I actually have the book you mentioned from Jeremy Graves. Never properly worked through it. How would you go about implementing it as a beginner?

It does feel like that some days. When I go home from the gym at 9am I kinda feel like I did what I had to do for the day. Really need to get my priorities back in check. Lifting is there to stay, but the importance I put on it is making me disregard other shit in my life.

Alright fuck it, sent her a text. Putting way more importance on it than I should. Should probably go out tonight and start approaching to keep a sane mind.

Got it, I reread the sticky and this line got me out of this warped frame About Status: -Far easier to build fresh social alignments (with elevated status at the start) than changing your status within existing social circles Seems like a hassle to escalate, better of investing my time in newer prospects

Could be. Is me feeling like I should just try and get laid with her to validate that my shitty blue pilled past is in the past a constructive thought? Like some kind of empowering moment which I can use to further my believe in my current mindset.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
