Once you understand how evolution works you can use it to explain everything that requires any critical thinking in biology. The rest is just memorizing facts. I did go down the animal biology / ecology route rather than the microbiology / chemistry route though. I hated chemistry.

I studied Biology at university and couldn't find a job afterwards. I ended up working some genetic desk job in a totally different field. I think it's okay if you enjoy it, Biology is easy mode as far as STEM goes so it's good if you just want to spend 3-4 years fucking around. Also Biology is one of the few STEM fields with more women than men (not that it helped me any).

My backlog is endless, I have so many games I bought on sale I haven't played yet. Gacha is something I can just play mindlessly at work during downtime so it doesn't really have a substitute. It's easy dopamine.

Just dropped $90 on gacha and that is very tame compared to what I used to spend around 4 or 5 years ago. I don't feel bad about it though, instead of wasting money paying for dates then getting ghosted, I'm paying for cute anime girls that I get to keep forever.

I had a male baby sitter pretty often when I was a kid, my parents knew him pretty well though. It's coming back to bite society now though, they are screaming out for male teachers, especially early learning teachers. They are starting to realise how bad it is for boys to have no male role models at all in their formative years. Some kids these days grow up without having a single male teacher during their school years.
