What's your plan? Did you get a job, sue her for alimony/support, or file for disability? Are you going to take her back to court for shared custody? Have you asked her for shared custody? If you've gotten a job and take her to court to reevaluate the custody arrangement and lose, could you find yourself then on the hook for child support payments you may not have owed before because you had no income? I don't know how that all works.

This is a real thing. Many men who are victims of domestic violence are referred to batterer classes intended to teach them how not to beat their wives. It's disgusting.
