Thanks and yeah it is pretty similar, and gives so many people who are vaguely lost a new identity and world view. Rather than deal with their own issues they instead try to reshape the word to fit a new narrative, literally in the case of Flat earthers. It gives them a mission. A distraction imo. At least, that’s what happened with me.

Because she was initially attracted to me. We had been dating for months before that and she was really into me. But after this, she felt bad for me. We had sex that night which meant virtually nothing, and I didn't get her in the end. She met a Chad who allowed her to end things with me.

The girl I was seeing was late by an hour for our date because she was on another date. First she lied, but when I figured it out I cried. In front of her, in a bar. I should have left in the moment but I didnt. She still came over and we had sex but it wasn't right. We dated a few more months then it ended because she "didn't have time for a relationship." Still not over her. And then of course there's the realization most of my friendships is me beta orbiting my female friends.

You've just been given a gift and have no idea. You don't want to rely on anyone as much as you relied on her. You only have yourself to take care of, so start doing that. Let the pain of losing her consume you for a bit, but you will move on. Don't contact her. Focus on school, go to the gym, be selfish. Do the things you've wanted to do but have been too scared to do. You will move on from her, but it'll be so much easier if you're working on yourself at the same time. Don't let some girl dict…
