If women ruled the world, there would be no wars... just a bunch of upset countries, not talking to each other.

Yep, I read that it's illegal to get a paternity test in France, in the interest of "preserving the peace" within the French family.

They also don't cover everything in the same way private insurance does. In the US over-utilization is a common occurrence, people have insurance, so they want procedures done that don't always make sense. In a single-payer system, you wouldn't get an MRI, just so you can rest assured everything is alright, unless a doctor requires it. In other countries there are also more restrictions on malpractice lawsuits, so doctors are not that afraid to say no.

Wow, that was a great response! Concise, factual, not defensive. I wish everybody took criticism as well as you did here. Respect!

In general I am opposed to more mandatory minimum sentencing, but in this case it's alright. What a tool!

Women despise their stay-at-home husbands. We have 2 families who are in this situation and their couple dynamics are pretty messed up. When you have the stay-at-home dad join a conversation with the wives about the best way to cook chicken, while the other husbands are starting a camp fire... it's pretty sad. One of them is not allowed to have a credit card or access to the bank account, the (working) wife leaves him cash for everything (grocery shopping, etc.) It boggles my mind. And the whole…
