Don't worry, it's already accomplished its missions. A bunch of manchildren from reddit have latched onto this as proof of the feminazi plot. This sub is as sad as all the "in action" subs. The morons get baited so fucking easy.

I can't expect much of a change? Really? Then people should stop giving that advice. People come into FA all the time and assume that we're all fat neckbeards who dress in fedoras and tshirts and tell us "lose weight, dress well, you'll get some attention." Obviously that isn't the case. "Put yourself out there" I have been. Still no results. The alcohol is exclusively for me. I don't care about what other people think I'm drinking. Alcohol helps me relax. It tastes like shit, and there's a chan…

Yeah okay. When I say "serious attempt" I mean I've narrowed in on a specific individual because I kind of know them vs. at a bar where I just try to talk to someone random. So this idea you have of my having only tried 7 times is wrong.

I wonder if we define "serious" the same way.

Maybe. Maybe not. According to a couple of my closest friends, who I trust with everything, I'm doing things right, just not getting enough attempts in/getting lucky. They're pretty good with women. (An understatement, I assure you) Maybe that's true. I kind of expect a date or two though, you know, between 7 serious attempts in the past couple years. There were some other attempts at bars and clubs and stuff, but nothing serious at all. Maybe I just need a gattling gun approach. I've been readi…

Sure, that makes sense. That's why I went through all the trouble of losing 60 pounds and getting fit. Or why I updated my wardrobe at the cost of hundreds of dollars as a poor student. Or why I force myself to drink alcohol and be social even though I have gout (look up what some alcohols can do to it) and hate the taste. That's why I go to therapy. That's why I made an OKCupid profile and got a bunch of feedback on it at /r/OkCupid. Yeah. I'm doing/did all that because I secretly want to stay …

You say that like I haven't put time and effort into it.

I guess I just assumed that your comment, in a thread entitled "Forever Alone comes to seddit" your comment would have been directed towards FA. My bad.

For me personally, rejection is more about the fact that I'm going to be alone forever. Not that it means I'm a bad person or anything. I think I'm a pretty good person, I know objectively that I'm smart, I get great scores on tests, I go to a very good graduate program, top10 in the nation. I have friends so obviously I'm somewhat likable. I have female friends so I can't be a total creeper. I'm reasonably fit according to objective standards in that I can run what I'm supposed to, in the "norm…

If that's what you think FA sees women as, you're wrong. Just as most people are about r/FA.

And you think that even with the broad statistical study like OKCupid and others have done (the same conclusions were drawn by Slate.com when they did an analysis) that there's is another variable that is being overlooked that accounts not for slight statistical variations, but clear and obvious patterns? In the face of the obvious women saying they prefer X and Y, and showing that through the numbers, I see no reason not to believe them. I am incredulous that you don't think all else being equa…

Have you ever seen the OKCupid demographics study? It is the women who are the choosers. And they are the discriminating ones. Women generally prefer men of their own ethnicity. White women do it the most. Men actually don't care at all. They message everyone. But based on responses to messages, all women prefer their own, and white women do most of all. Seddit likes to say that it's all a numbers game, and that's true. But when the majority of women out there have a recognizable preference for …

And now I'll give you a lesson. piece of anecdotal contrary evidence does not dispute at all what the OP said. There are 6 billion people on this planet. Exceptions will always happen. But what the OP stated was a general rule, not an exceptionless fact. He made that pretty explicit. And statistics don't lie. Taller guys get more responses. White guys get more responses. Statistics say they should be getting X, it's actually above that. The opposite is true for Asian guys. Statistics say they sh…

It's incredibly annoying to hear people saying that the largest demographic in the nation where I live is basically cut off from me. Less than 10%? That sucks.

I think a lot of times I get mistaken for being white derp.

Statistics don't lie. Taller guys have more success, not only with women but in just about everything. They are perceived as more confident and capable. Even when just shown a picture. Which really has nothing to do with your attitude. White guys get more responses. Check the OKCupid demographics study. White guys get more responses than statistics say they should, and minorities, especially Asian/Indian guys get the least. Statistically lower than one would expect. White girls are also much les…
