It does feel good to be on the other side of the spectrum though. Set up an Instagram business and haven't posted my face -- posted it with a snap of a girl saying "you're hot" and got hella DM's and thirsty comments LOL.

Aye great job man, I do something very similar. In the past I would use a similar spreadsheet but now I have all my goals listed out on top of my schedule along with if I'm actually completing it: Wendler's 531/BBB (4 Days): (MON, WED, THURS, FRI) Make a Video: (MON, TUES, WED, THURS, FRI, SAT, SUN) That's how it should look like at the end of the week. But whatever works for you. I think the reason this works so well is because it forces you to stay accountable and you can quantify everything r…

I still fail to understand why TRP is seen in such a bad light. The entire idea is to become the best version of yourself through killing your beta self, understanding principles that will guide you, and executing them through lifting, career/business, and women.

Yup I realized how a different environment can have such huge changes in your life. Not only from a confidence perspective (nobody knows each other at camps (I'm in high school) so you can talk to everyone and have no consequences later on), but also from removing yourself from the day-to-day grind that may not be producing the best results. After traveling for a month over the summer I realized that I needed to get my ass together (I found TRP shortly after) through working on my business, my f…

Liked the story, proud of the fact that you gave an update and can move forward with these lessons. In TRP we say that AWALT, but in reality I just see it as "All People Are Like This." Not saying that your boy would do this (this is a male-female situation), but when it comes to things like jobs for men, the same lack of loyalty shows with self-interest. The same way a girl swings from a branch to another dude is the same way a guy gets an offer from another company offering 5x the $$$ and jump…

I think this can be shortened to: "If you don't control yourself, others control you." Good examples though.

You're right. Action is key. Most of us are intelligent enough to understand the facts, the real part is actually using it to our advantage. If not, then we'll just stay the same and die miserable.

One thing that has been hard for me to break was stopping my gaming habit (killing it), stopping my business that I wasn't interested in anymore, and stopping my porn addiction (easier than you think). Naturally I substituted gaming/porn with lifting and my old business with a new business/school.

I agree with most of your points. It is extremely true that you should not be that kid who thinks he's cool by shutting off society and jacking off to porn saying he doesn't care. The way to solve that is to hit the gym, start getting better socially by taking small steps, and start your own business or rise up in your job. The only thing that I disagree is that when you say you should: "conceal nerdy habits" For me, making videos/writing are nerdier habits of mine (intellectually stimulating). …

I normally don't tell anyone anymore until I reach a certain level of success, for so instance when I started getting 1 million hits on my website that month, I can tell people about bigger goals because I've proved it to myself already and that helps with the social pressure and whatnot. But at the beginning, I know nobody believes in me and I only have myself, which makes me work hard, and other people don't see the struggle of experimentation over and over, helping me stand out (one of the 48…

Highly agree. Taking action is the main way to boost confidence as well. Your mind doesn't like bullshit, but when it sees you out there actually taking small steps incrementally toward what you want in life, there is a positive feedback loop and you continue to hit bigger and bigger goals.

Appreciate it brother. It feels good when these things are explicitly thought out and stated. We all know this as true on a subconscious level, but when we make it clear, there's no excuse and you make the right move 99% of the time after.

Thanks for this, a small portion related back to me which was about my mother staying attached and screaming at my sister one time that I was all she lived for. I obviously don't feel great every time that I rebel and whatnot, but at the same time, it's better for everyone to be independent rather than holding each other back for comfort.

Good post. Whenever I've set huge goals for myself that nobody else believed in that I enjoyed personally, I've hit them way before deadlines. There really isn't too much limit as to what you want to do in life.

Damn man you're YouTube is solid. Keep it up -- if you need any help on the channel I could possibly help out a bit -- used to run one with over 10,000 subscribers as a business.

This is what I've been thinking and more importantly, doing for the past few months. Instead of just telling myself to start getting better grades for college, or to get better with people, or to say that I look good, I start studying for once in my life, I start going to classes that force me to participate each and every day, and I start working out. It's like people who are "body-positive" and say that are confident, but that's not real if you're 400 pounds with chins that engulf your entire …

Yup, enjoying the small moments in life are great. Having fun with my boys playing cards, doing retarded things like climbing on roofs of gyms for fun are all things that I cherish. Taking away other people as well, enjoying a fall day just shooting around at a local park is very fulfilling after I get my work done.

ABC! But I think that the mentality of hoping for one day isn't the right move. Hit the gym and work on yourself and get girls here in the states.

Great job man, what grade are you in now? I'm in high school and focusing on lifting, my business, and getting into a solid college. TheRedPill has been a huge turning point for me as well.

Happy birthday man! For me getting over my fear in social situations is one of my biggest challenges, but it's also one of the most rewarding. You're right, when I inevitably fuck up at times, that means that I'm actually putting myself out there and challenging myself rather than staying in my comfort zone like my basketball coach used to tell me. It feels good to fail when you're pushing limits.

Could you expand on The Dip by Seth Godin and how you can drive past some things with rewards set up by your brain? Besides that I completely agree with you. Experimentation with business is one of the most fun and rewarding things and it can help you find many interesting people and things to create. I also realized very recently that thinking too much with too much introspection is bad as well because you're not taking action. Thanks for the good advice.

Yup. Putting in work is the fun part. As u/_the_shape_ said, it's not about coasting and just being a passive watcher of life, that's stupid. I used to run a business that netted me a good amount, but now I'm moving in a different direction as well, trying to leave a mark on this earth that's more helpful to people, and it's really much more interesting than doing the same thing each day for a little more money.

Yup, if we're always intoxicated (after masturbation I feel like I can't focus at all on problems and ideas that come into my head) with pornography, video games, and all this other junk, then we're much easier to control. No need to focus on actual problems and seeing reality for what it is when we can escape into a virtual reality where we don't need to be our best selves and to take risks. Life becomes meaningless with that shit.

Keep working man. I think the main thing that pushed me out of this was deep reflection in a different environment. I took an internship and I was away from home/high school for 3-4 weeks. Living by myself for the first time and not being in the same day to day routine made me think about how much my life needed to be worked on, and what direction to go in. Now that I know what my mission is it's easy to stay on task. I have to get 8 hours of sleep a day to be productive on my YouTube business, …

Seems legit. When I hit 20+ days I didn't even need an image the touch literally just gave me relief and I see what you mean by then being able to practice whatever you actually want on an actual woman. That's why porn messes people up because you sit back and watch some other guy do it while you sit down passively.

You could just say you do "business" and leave it at that if you're scared of being portrayed in a girl's mind as BB.

Our culture has become more and more escapist as we progress. The reason why I used to watch porn, play video games, and all that shit was because my actual life sucked, and in turn it was easier to escape through an alternate reality. This is also why I feel as though kids are getting fucked by virtual reality (as in 6-11 year olds that will be growing up with this). Instead of working on getting an attractive female mate, they'll just fuck a fleshlight with VR porn. Instead of working on a bus…

With people like this IMO it can either make you a fucking pussy or mold you into the strongest version of yourself. For me my parents are both solid TBH and I can't ask for them to be better, but my mom (Asian mom) has always had moments where she just goes apeshit just to cause drama or because she's just genuinely unstable at times. Because of her throwing bowls of food at me when I would talk back, saying that I'm not jack shit without her and whatnot I learned that there is no support for m…

Yup the problem comes when almost all the kids in my school just talk about sports or games. I have a few friends in which I talk to: one is committed to an Ivy League for D1 Hockey, another is working on a clothing line. However those are only a few and it's kind of sad how I go monk-mode all the time on a mission. Maybe I'm just being anti-social but I've been invited to do a lot of things but I just don't want to hang with some of those kids.

Yup the salarymen that work crazy hours for a meaningless existence only find some time of reward in weird porn and complete hedonism as you talked about. It's funny how my sister went there a few weeks prior and she said she loved how regimented and quickly society flowed. I didn't like it and then she accused me of being an "anarchist."

Thank you man. I'm in high school and whenever we go out to different places it's easiest to just talk to random people for the hell of it rather than thinking of a fucking script. And thank goodness for TRP because I'm not bad looking but I realized that no matter how great a fucking line is, if you're overweight or skinny AF then it doesn't matter. SMV counts before the lines do.

Accepting reality is better in every sense. Robert Greene said a similar quote in his 48 Laws. It may hurt at first to realize that all you've believed in has been a lie, but accepting the truth gives you great power and now you actually understand how things work, and can use it to your advantage in this lifetime.

I know exactly what you mean by porn addictions dude. As a straight guy who's been successful in a lot of areas of my life, if you don't keep your reward system in check you slowly fade into complete beta mode by not having any energy, confidence, and focus because all you're looking for is that high you get from a fetish video or some other weird shit that you need because you've grown so tolerant. And I agree with your idea, which is instead of saying I'll stop masturbating forever and feeling…
