Sorry you had to go through that, bro.

But all this does is harm the baby's life. While the woman has the choice to literally end the baby's life.

Belief requires credibility, of which most people you don't have a personal relationship have virtually none of. Especially when their accusations don't pass the plausibility test (See also: The clearly political hit job on Brett Kavanaugh)

Only thing you can do is just be more picky about who you sleep with.

The MINDSET that it's the reason for harassment is 100% an incel mind set to have. Nonsense. You act as if attractiveness bias isn't a thing. Now it doesn't mean that it's impossible for a woman to consider a man harassing her if she finds the guy attractive, which has never been the argument people make. The argument, in context, is that the relatively average/unattractive guy is going to get accused of harassment for doing relatively benign things such as flirting with a woman whereas the attr…

Attractiveness, on a population level, is definitely not subjective. Sure, you think Jennifer Lopez is more attractive than Angelina Jolie, that's a matter of preference but near universally these women are viewed as attractive. Same with Chris Hemsworth or Jason Momoa. Certain traits are considered attractive across the board and the exceptions of preference aren't valid counter arguments. Point being - certain behaviors are acceptable based on the context of the situation and who is behaving t…

This is one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is that what is and what is not harassment is often completely dependent upon that person's perception of you. For instance, my best friend can greet me with "Hey fucker" and because of who he is, I have no problem with it. But if a stranger approaches me with the same exact words and tone I'm going to perceive it completely differently. The same principle applies. This isn't incel-like thought. This is just understanding of context.

You played it wrong. You should've immediately taken what they said to HR. Defeat women with those passive aggressive tactics they use on you. You can't directly insult them, just use everything they say against them.

I'm not being an asshole. You've done nothing to refute my argument Feminine shaming language is all you can seem to muster

Because telling me dumb shit like "go talk to the people that died/got really sick/other horrible things" because of Covid is a shaming tactic designed to make me back away from irrefutable facts by telling some victim exactly what I told you which for most people would be uncomfortable. Facts are facts regardless of how you or anyone else feels about them. The fact is clear: 99%+ of the people who get Covid will not die. The ones that do are overwhelming obese, elderly, or have chronic diseases…

Ok, I will. Do you think I would be afraid to say the truth just because I'd have to say it to someone's face?

And real data and statistics show that the IFR of Covid-19 is +99%. Those that get hospitalized and/or die are ovewhelmingly obese, have chronic diseases associated with age and obesity, or are immunocompromised. Sure, we can point to edge cases where the marathon running 21 year old ended up dying, but that's an anomaly.

And those people were anomalies when you look at the population level data. Edge cases, if you will. Doesn't diminish their deaths at all. But there is some unlucky bastards out there that got killed by lightning, too.

I look at it like this: Women confuse the fact that if they're a 5 that a 8 or 9 guy will have sex with them that it means that that 8 or 9 guy wants to be in a relationship with them and their options are 8s, 9s, and even 10s. This screws up their minds. Them being able to get bedded by the most attractive guys they come across makes them think that they are settling when a guy that's a 5 or 6 actually wants to date them.

I don't see a problem with pay transparency. It's not a gender issue to me.

Usually laws like this are written in such a way that to be prosecuted, the false accusation has to be not just proven to be false, but the person who made said accusation has to have willingly and knowingly be proven to have been lying the entire time. That's a really tough burden to beat.

TIL that feminists think men aren't good at planning or logistical work.

As a guy with a liberal arts degree, you always gotta feel out the professor. And these days, most of them are pretty transparent in regards of their views. I always came in with the most liberal, extreme shit I could and just really parroted their ideas back at them. Invariably, received nothing less than an B+.

Man, you took that too far. Even if you were being facetious. I do think he should be able to sue in civil court for damages.

Look - all of us men know we are pretty much judged on our earning potential. Period. Women, whether they admit it or not, are looking for a man who is superior to them. Otherwise they have no respect for them. Problem is, for a lot of these successful women who are high-powered lawyers, corporate execs, etc. the men who would meet that criteria have literally their pick of basically any woman they want. And therein lies the problem these powerful women face.

They worked in tandem. The welfare state made it so women would get means-tested out of benefits if they had a man in the home and then the drug war put the excess amount of men into prison. It's a feedback loop.

Gotta let her go. She'll destroy you eventually if you go any further. Start covering your ass now. When you break up wit you, she'll punish you by accusing you of some shit. Think strategically.

I'm not saying it should be illegal or anything, but you can't tell me this isn't fucked up in every way imaginable.

I feel where you're coming from - I don't think we disagree too much. I don't think the original article is that far off, however, based on behavior I've observed and even my own in these situations. When I was younger, I got friend zoned by a couple of girls I really liked. As I got older, I realized that these are girls I really didn't want to be friends with - I just wanted their affection. Sticking around, pretending to be friends only made it worse and one of two things happens: They cut yo…

There's a difference between: Befriends woman and over time develops attraction to said woman. Develops attraction to a woman, she doesn't reciprocate, settles for friendship while resenting her the entire time and waiting for her to have a weak moment.

I think you misunderstand me, so I will clarify: Anyone who laments being in the "friend zone" is someone who never wanted to be friends. It's one thing to initially be attracted to someone and want to date them but it never works out and you are ok with being just friends with them. It's another thing to harbor resentment towards that person for not reciprocating your feelings. I guess what I'm saying is - there's nothing wrong with the friend zone if you are actually ok with being friends. How…

The friend-zone doesn't exist. If you're only friends with someone in the hopes that they will later understand that you're the one they're supposed to be with, you're not their friend.

I don't understand the problem. They are clearly fulfilling a market want. Guys like looking at attractive women and are presumably willing to pay for it. From my standpoint, everyone involved wins.

Sometimes I wish that men collectively in the Western world would enforce an unified 'month of silence' where all non-essential communication with women ceased. Just men outright ignoring all women who aren't their wives, significant others, children, or family members. Just to see what would happen.
