Take comfort in the fact that you haven't had to esclatate to more ... extreme explanations. "b-b-but Dad, I can't get married if i'm a eunuch. YOU THINK I WONT DO IT?"

HAHA you are not alone, my friend. In exactly the same boat here.

From what i've heard (speculation) South Korea has bans on internet pornography so needless to say if that's true the cultures must be very different. I've seen the odd Korean stripper video but K-POP ... if the popularity of KPOP is reflective of the standard Korean girl i could never see the Kardashians ever attracting them. If Korean divorce rates and mental illness/suicide rates are lower as a result of their 'innocent-dynamic' then sure, i'd say that perhaps role models in Korea are definit…

Fun read. I sometimes imagine how different life would be if women were honest with their true nature. That is to say ... logical + self-analytical. There's no illusion in what men crave and why but we have to guess and speculate at best to find the redpill nature of women. Im surprised how i haven't even found one honest admission from a woman that goes into their philosophic and existential depths. MGTOW philosophies are unique to Men - rising not only from our difference in our gender roles b…

Do not speak about MGTOW. Do not act like MGTOW is a group/movement (it's not). I have to agree. Do not impose your beliefs on others (applies to anything) In general, a true statement. But perhaps what the MGTOW radicals you speak of mostly just want their friends or acquaintances to realize Risk especially if they wished somebody would have warned them before gleefully leaping into a pit of fire. I think there's a line between preaching MGTOW philosophy and a 'good samaritan' who only wants ot…

I've always wondered how differing events inspire different people to find MGTOW. The fucked thing is man we love to keep giving women chances and as sadistic as i may sound, i strongly believe you will only keep leaping into the fray of 'lovey-dovey' disappointment especially if you're inexperienced (i.e curious to try things once).

Perhaps i should've clarified. In my distant (religious asf) family my dating status is reflective of me as a whole. I don't entirely blame them for this judgement because i go often go months to even years without seeing these people. "who cares?" You're quite right, i shouldn't and perhaps my pride is my downfall. I believe i dont have high expectations of respect from distant relatives in fact i only wish to settle for the standard degree of respect in a workplace. I really appreciate your pe…

The few times i've confided these very views you address ... i'm met with the run of the mill NAWALT argument ... ironically from divorcees themselves ... there's no reasoning with people that's why I'm considering subterfuge.

I have no shortage of courage, let me assure you i only tread carefully and ask for insight because a direct approach ... whether polite or not has seldom improved my relationships with people. I think its a shame that you see my post as a cry for attention. I'm trying to weigh my options whereas your contribution to this feed is shaming me for not taking the immediate defensive.

Oh, i see what you mean. I thought there may have been a MGTOW-specific parable or example. I've honestly never said MGTOW aloud. I totally agree that preaching isn't exactly good etiquette lol

Hilariously, family and distant friends have long thought i am gay - absent any MGTOW confession. Though, to be fair i did milk that persona to rebel against the religious extremists in my family. Oh ... definitely not worth the laugh.

I've repetitively seen this and wondered what exactly is meant by it. Would you please explain?

So clearly, you are conveniently leaving out the particulars of 'why' you are single. Suppose an attractive work associate hits on you and you ignore her or pump>dump and find yourself answering to jealous colleagues who you are friends with. I'm not talking about formal workplace relationships, personal details IMO are commonly spread around because of talkative friends.

When a family member is genuinely loving and unintrusive ... direct answers feel halfbaked. These are people i genuinely want to make proud. If we're being honest, we all try to impress others on a week to week basis. Do i live to impress them? Of course not. I like to see people i love smile and though they aren't unhappy im single, i feel like i could be fabricating a lie that would let them worry about me less.

Yea, I do that. But im surrounded by fuckboys and elitists. I rant MGTOW redpill philosophy to a friend but i dare not admit im a MGTOW directly. I feel like there's many ways for people interpret/misconceive MGTOWs - many of which sabotage reputation.

I'm in full agreeance with you x_xwolf. What i'm searching for is balance not validation. If i lived in the countryside we wouldn't be having this discussion but instead i live in a city and am in constant search for ways to make life just a little easier.

There's minimal pressure and nothing i can't handle. It's more so conflicted feelings being - do i tell the truth, twist the truth, or lie. I'm uncertain of all outcomes and i know no advice here can ever be definitive but across the board many of my shitty relatives emasculate me for not showing an interest. Perhaps i'm just a proud man who wants respect, but evasion/deflection or 'career-minded' have become far exhausted. To such an extent that i've been asked by several family members in a mo…

I can't help but agree. I may be young but years of activism within Athiesm and Animal Rights movements have taught me the peace that comes with staying out of trouble lest i provoke a shitstorm debate. RelentlessGrind, your solution seems a little insecure to me. I have a pretty shit family and can count those i love on half a hand. Only an idiot would risk jeopardizing that, and i have to tread extra carefully because they're highly religious. Harmless, but id hate to further alienate myself f…

You make it sound easier than what it is. I don't want to draw a line or confront (ignore) the very little interest i receive from relatives.

Edit Suggestion for either Philosophical or Religious. Abstinence is best seen in Jainism. Abstaining from female intimacy whether IRL sex or porn in the interest of challenging/testing oneself in hopes of growing as a person.

VIRTUOUS ROMANTIC: A variance of boys/men adhering to their own interpretation of romanticism (From Elizabethean Era to Pre-Feminism). Particularly prominent in low-socioeconomic suburbs where there's little to no societal appreciation for formality. Raised in vulgarity, a romantic either adapts or distances himself to survive. By the time a romantic realizes that romanticist ideals sets men up only for disappointment and underappreciation, their 'love' has already burned them enough to realize …

The last thing i wish MGTOW to become is an organized movement. There's perks to having no powerful authority figures - namely, i wont need to distance myself from this group once it turns sourer than it already is. If there are tangible benefits to radicalizing philosophy into activism, sure but i sure as hell cant think of any that aren't already being adressed in larger number by the Mens Right Movement

I'm still at odds in what to think of Mothers Day. Perhaps the OP's example had high expectations, but is there a line where the expectation is acceptable? Let's suppose in the case of a woman expecting affection where she doesn't feel entitled to monetary gifts. I have a philosphic problem with being forced to love, but in hindsight i never give my mother affection so perhaps expectation reigns me in. Any thoughts?

Let's define NAWALT through deconstructing semantics. 'Not all women' are like that ~ assuming we are all in agreeance of what a woman is, we can easily identify groups of women through personality tests. Whether MBTI, DISC or whatever pleases you. Harness the power of the internet to tailor your affinity towards women comprising the 0.5% to 2% personalities within their sex. This method may present many flaws, but at least it's tangible and we're not taking every bitter old MRA's advice at face…
