You give no context for your quotes, so they seem entirely unrelated. I find it interesting that you (clearly a guy) think you have a better understanding of the prejudices women hold than an actual woman. That speaks to a pretty high level of entitlement. Why is the "boys don't cry" stereotype primarily the fault of women? Seems to be that fathers caught up in the machismo mentality hold a great deal of responsibility here. "Don't be a pussy/men don't cry/what are you, some kind of sissy?" Thos…

In what context, exactly? My boyfriend has cried in front of me several times and in no way did that make me lose interest in him, he is my partner and he is of course allowed to express his feelings and emotions. If you mean a man crying in front of a woman in a relatively new romantic situation--I'm still not convinced a man crying is some ultimate deal breaker for "the average woman." Frankly it's refreshing to be with a guy who's willing to express his emotions. And let's put the shoe on the…

I hardly think one asshole on the internet is evidence that most women feel this way. I personally want to break down this social standard that men aren't supposed to display emotion/express their feeling because it harms them personally and in relationships. The majority of feminists are against traditional gender roles as a whole, and the whole "men shouldn't cry" mentality is a product of traditional gender roles. Also, this idea that women can cry without judgement in any situation is also f…

You're a complete piece of shit. This woman has a few years left to physically be able to have children, and you know she wants them. Let her find someone who shares that goal, rather than lying and trapping her into a commitment with the prospect of starting a family. My God.

I'm starting to think this sub is just a place for guys to jack off to videos of women getting punched.

I don't know a single woman who would start a sentence with "as a female...." But you seemed to fool thousands of neckbeards here, so what do I know. Do you bro.

Or just don't assault other people ever, maybe? Takes away all this grey area.

The vagueness of provoke is the problem. I'm not arguing against self defense. But this mentality is too close to "she shouldn't have talked back so I punched her to show her her place." This sub is full of human garbage.

The logic seems to be that if you're an abused woman, you deserve it because you obviously provoked it? Man this sub has gotten fucked up. And I'm suuuuuure OP is a "lady" just like he claims.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
