Great, but your opinion isn't law. Metacritic give it 76%, I'm more on the side of the accredited t.v. journalists myself. But ultimately who cares? You don't like it. I do. Brilliant. There's nothing more to be learned here.

Insisting that art specifically needs to subscribe to specific moral doctrines can (not will) lead to censorship. Is that me saying we shouldn't criticise things? Of course not, that would be mental. I'd credit anyone with enough intelligence not to have to point that out specifically. I'm happy to just keep recycling my old comments, since this has become a circular argument: I haven't called for censorship of anything. You're projecting and strawmanning. Calling something out as morally wrong (which is what happened) is the first step to censorship, this is obvious.

Sure but if you follow this train of thought we shouldn't express any negative ideas in any form of art ever. Where do you draw the line? If suicide is unhealthy should we ban murder in tv shows? Why stop there, let's ban drug use and swearing and sex and general humanity. I think there's fairness to that comment, it does glorify suicide to some extent. Look at all the attention Hannah got from doing it and that's often something lost teens want the most. However the idea of criticizing TV shows for not aligning with an individuals morals is a dangerous train of thought that can lead to the censorship of art, which isn't something worth pursuing.
