Out of curiosity, how often have you tried just saying hi? I noticed that even though I was getting a decent amount of responses by referencing someone’s profile, it didn’t change when I stopped.

Tinder’s demographics are also different because it’s mostly known as a hookup app. IIRC, for OLD sites that focus on relationships, the ratio is 50:50.
