I'll give you that i probably overdid the title, I tend to focus on being honest and rational, not so much on being diplomatic and politically correct.

you mistake my intent, I merely want to point out that such situations shouldn't be used for gender bickering (the whole eliot rodger being an MRA, therefore men= evil doers, women= good victims), I guess one can never be too obvious.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SlutWalk slut culture is promiscous women using feminist rethoric to shift/dilute the responsability for their risky life-style, imo.

while we have to thank feminism for being it's own worst enemy, lies have more to do with self-deception than "puppeteering". you should never underestimate people's ability to compartimentalize contradictions.

my point was that the op had a more complete perspective on how invested she was on this notion and assess what to do. for all we know she could be just someone who drank the feminist cool aid or a deeply entrenched radfem.

I'm not saying op's GF is amazing, I just mentioned the possibility that she wasn't exposed to an alternative view on the subject and could see feminism for what it is. If you just dismiss ALL feminists as beyond redemption and an eternal enemy to the MRM you are missing the point. however, I'll give you that you could be totally right.

everyone is an asshole at some point. OP is in a much better position to "judge" if his GF is worth talking to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk3beajVbzg

"The patriarchy is damaging to bot men and women." which is my point, the patriarchy is an opinion not a fact, yet is the backbone of feminist rhetoric. why would a "progressive" ideology have as it's core dogma an idea that promotes a men vs women mentality? on the rest, i think it's far more complex than "patriarchy did it".

i am amazed how feminism, makes use of the ultimate straw man (patriarchy), to vilify all men for failing to meet the absolutely perfect standard of several ideas of how a woman should be treated by a man, which by the way are mutually exclusive. and then excuses all women as victims which had no agency nor interest in how history unfolded. however, it's to easy and comfortable to subscribe to a entitlement ideology which lets you feel like a saint and a revolutionary, all while never challengin…

to be honest i think she appreciates the idea of being judge, jury and executioner and use the law as a personal whip. however, she more of a hypocrite than a hater.

often I find myself thinking that this subreddit gives a overwhelming sensation that things are gonna be worse, but then you see jewels like this. It's such a good day when the world gets a little less stupid.

I'd like to think that there are no sides just humanity trying to get past stupidity such as feminism. above all keep in mind that two wrongs don't make a right.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
