Sounds to me like you just aren’t good enough to attract quality women

Studying math isn’t about just reading through a book. You need to actively work through it and do a lot of problems understanding why you’re doing what you’re doing and not just following directions. More generally, when studying anything you should be trying to distill the essence of whatever you read into the simplest terms possible. Summarizing what you read into notes will help with this. Also, if you study too far out from an exam you can forget things.

I find the flake rate to be a little too high for my taste when doing it like this. It seems to work better if you can build a little rapport first, typically through 5-6 msgs

Reddit censorship is just one of a growing list of symptoms resulting from a larger, more sinister issue: globalization and the decline of western civilization. I don’t give a fuck about reddit but I am seriously concerned with the censorship practices and biases of google and the universities.

Tbh a 2.5 gpa is shit. Unless your papers have a bunch of citations and come with a strong letter of recommendation from someone well known in the field, you're probably screwed. I would start looking at other options. Also, just as a side note you probably calculated your potential gpa incorrectly. At least for a standard, 4 year US education, if your gpa after 7 semesters is 2.53 and you get a 4.0 your final semester, your final gpa is (1/8)4+(7/8)2.53=2.7

The phrase "you are an average of the five people you spend the most time with" comes to mind. Only having female friends sounds like a good way to castrate yourself.

Disagree. Is vetting the end all be all? No. But it certainly acts as an effective first wall of defense against shitty behavior. It's just one out of many tools and to say you're not going to screen women and just set up boundaries is fighting an already losing battle with one hand behind your back.

I don't necessarily disagree with the conclusion but I'm not convinced by the reasoning. I think shit tests are just a part of human social interaction. Shit testing is just manoshere jargon for banter and good banter is a trademark of good friendship. Whining about them just makes it sounds like you suck at them.

That's debatable imo. It's not uncommon for people trying to salvage free will to appeal to the many-worlds interpretation of QM. Although in my opinion, I don't think it helps. Determinism itself is a pretty red pill. As a side note, I don't really get the cynicism. There's nothing wrong with discussing interesting ideas relevant to the post. Not every comment has to be about crushing pussy.

Jesus christ, man. Saying math is useless "cuz calculators exist now" is a serious display of ignorance. Education is the foundation of modern society. Do you really want people unaware of how their government works? That's a good idea. Or unaware of their history as a nation or the follies of their past? Let's not teach science either so we can all starve and die of disease while we're at it. Being educated is the debt you owe society in order to enjoy the fruits of what it's built with the hop…

How do you only squat the bar and bench your bodyweight?
/r/TheRedPill07/04/18 08:47 PM

The problem with this is that there is a genetic barrier to being an "über-Chad". You can study and lift as much as you want but ultimately you're limited by your facial aesthetics and body structure. There's always a bigger Chad in the sea so the natural conclusion of hypergamy is that trying to start a stable family becomes an unwinnable game.

I respect/endorse the fundamental principles of MGTOW, but this article comes across as rather ignorant in my opinion and sounds like it was written by an angry 3rd grader. Maybe diversity hires did lead to incompetence in the field (which I fully concede might be true and is obviously a problem) but the article doesn't provide any evidence and seems to take statements out of context in order to further its message. Seems like sensationalism for misogynists to jerk off to IMHO.

Of course you can make any demands you want but the "reasonableness" of those demands is ultimately subjective. In my opinion a reasonable demand is that a potential partner wouldn't have fucked more people than me (or at least not more than 3-5 than me). I typically try not to expect things from people that I don't expect from myself. If I was some Chad virgin constantly turning women down I would expect the same from a potential partner but I'm not.

Those who talk about how intelligent they are are typically rather mediocre. Truly intelligent people don't need to talk about it because their accomplishments speak for them.

It's not just women. If anyone violated my trust so egregiously I would cut them off. I'm not desperate enough for pussy to keep someone like that around. At least for me, keeping her around would amount to breaking frame. I can see how it might be different for others but it's not congruent with my values.

Sex for men refreshes them and renews their strength to pursue their goals while for women it is an act to feel a connection with another person and they feel empty when it's over. It's basically saying that the psychological impact of having sex is different for men and women.

Yes and I have no idea how we let this happen. My guess is that it began with feminists percolating into the social sciences because they're easy. This coupled with the fact that most scientists are seriously blue pilled sycophants with women allowed them to push their ideas under the guise of real science and thereby piggyback off its influence.

Nice. I've been lifting seriously for about two years but casually for the past 10. Your 3-4-5 plate lifts are pretty much my goals right now. 212 lbs is huge for 5'11" at 12% body fat. I can barely believe that's possible naturally. My long breaks are what force me to take so long. I take 3-5 min breaks between my heavy sets of 5 reps for major lifts. Maybe I should drop the weight because there's no way I could hit my heavy sets with 1-2 minute rests. I enjoy being in the gym though so I prefe…

Nothing wrong with prioritizing different things but it's impossible to climb often enough to be good without consistently fucking up your split. If you're a scrub though I guess it doesn't matter.
/r/TheRedPill16/02/17 01:30 AM

100% true. I love climbing but it wrecks my lifting schedule if I don't substitute it for a pull day or go more than once a week. Same with wrestling and I'm still not sold on trading out my pull days for them.

I highly doubt the veracity of the wrestling story. Only someone who doesn't know what they're talking about would call it a ring. Plus, it's pretty much impossible for some second stringer to get to the state championship match. Maybe if you're from a state like Alaska or Hawaii. Good message nonetheless.

If anything it's an abundance mindset because it involves freeing yourself from attachment. A scarcity mindset would fixate on what you have and devastate you once it inevitably is gone.

I don't care about the email scandal just like I don't care about Trump's remarks about women. I care about how the US is perceived by the rest of the world and the candidate's economic and social plans. I agree with Trump's social ideologies just like most of the people here. Economically it's not clear to me. It is clear that Clinton commands more respect and possesses more tact than her "toddleresque" opponent. She is also the more politically experienced candidate. So yeah, I'm undecided.

This is exactly my concern. If Trump didn't come off as a buffoon with the potential to embarrass the US on the global stage I would likely vote for him. As of now I'm undecided.

I agree with the mentality on discipline but I don't know about no fap. I'm a researcher who constantly has to think and work on complex unsolved problems. I literally can't do my job if I haven't gotten off in a couple days. It allows me to focus more intensely on the problems at had and not be distracted. Do you adapt to this or just not suffer from the same problems?

I think that's a decent metric to gauge value. It reminds me of a quote I like by Dillard, "How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives". One problem I seem to have is that since I'm so improvement oriented, I feel guilty anytime I'm not working. This results in me not really enjoying anything anymore. I certainly don't think that happiness should be the end all be all of our motivations, but life does seem to be a cycle of ultimately empty conquests. I'm not sure how to escape thi…

Even if it was a social experiment, all you would have done was accept a coffee date from an attractive woman. a) Who could judge you for that? and b) Who gives a fuck. Now consider the alternative, you could be dating some bombshell chick. Sounds like you misgauged the opportunity cost here.
