Well it's 3 years in Ontario, Canada. So it also comes down to the individual province and what they determine to count as common-law. I've actually seen some nice gender neutral bathrooms in North America that are actually nice. All the ones I have been in have separate mini rooms for each toilet. The way I try to judge if something is discriminatory is by switching the groups out with other groups. For example hireasian.com or hirewhite.com sounds incredibly discriminatory and racist.
