it's funny because that woman is so close to actually getting it...
/r/MensRights24/05/23 03:27 AM
4

groped? "creepy" can just mean guys looking at her
/r/MensRights24/05/23 03:24 AM
1

you dismiss it quite quickly for something important... focussing on 'quality relationships' finding a quality relationship on a dating site is the holy grail for anyone of any gender
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 12:37 AM
8

amazing how you so easily dismiss attention and sex as something of no importance many guys don't ever get dates, let alone 'casual sex'
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 12:19 AM
4

and there will be many people whose anecdotal evidence is that they often see average to ugly women gettings dates (there's at least two in this very thread), that's why anecdotal evidence doesn't mean anything if we compare ugly women vs. ugly men, the ugly guys have it WAY worse (unless they have a lot of money) and are truly invisible to everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/23 12:15 AM
12

are you seriously suggesting that your own personal anecdotal evidence is better than statistics coming from actual studies?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 10:58 PM
11

your anecdotal evidence is not backed by actual statistics
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 10:37 PM
1

your obvious misandry is obvious also, ugly women can still get some attention on dating sites and even a few dates here and there would you care to compare that with ugly men? ...yeah, I didn't think so either please go touch grass
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 10:24 PM

until they force us to
/r/MensRights19/05/23 01:58 AM

that's because he's actually good at sarcasm
/r/MensRights19/05/23 01:57 AM

I'm pretty sure that what single guys consider essential house chores are WAY less than for single women... I suspect that in general guys are usually content with a simpler life and don't obsess over objectively unimportant and/or useless sh*t.
/r/MensRights19/05/23 01:53 AM

Men speak about 'average' in terms of individual attractiveness, which is based on criteria like weight, height, symmetry, age, hair color, charisma and personality, maturity, intelligence, etc. The girl would be average if she is about a 4, 5 or 6 out of 10 based on this qualitative evaluation. In other words... a guys' definition of 'average' is NOT about comparing women to other women and then determine some kind of median quality among that group... it doesn't work like that. It's an evaluat…

It does sound like "Misandry: The Movie"...
/r/MensRights12/05/23 12:06 AM
9

That's the first thing it reminded of... "How dare those men die at war? It's clearly a sneaky way to get out of their responsibilities! They better apologize after they get back from dying at war!"
/r/MensRights04/05/23 12:53 AM
2

No, the movie actually tries to turn into a joke the fact that Mario has so much difficulty while she succeeded at her very first try.
/r/MensRights04/05/23 12:15 AM
1

try what?
/r/MensRights03/05/23 11:33 PM
5

...and while we see some of that initial training done by the Toads, we STILL don't see her fail one time, even when she's truly learning. It's almost like Hollywood is reluctant to show women failing... there's a term for that kind of character, I'm sure you know it.
/r/MensRights03/05/23 11:33 PM
6

Two things were way over the line for me: the 'yeah I got this incredibly difficult training level right the first time I tried' and her whole Frozen moment. Also, litteraly nowhere in the movie does she get saved by Mario, not once. They wanted to avoid the damzel-in-distress trope so bad that they... followed the trope completely, except with a guy (Luigi) of course. Double standards as always.
/r/MensRights03/05/23 11:27 PM
7

that doesn't explain misandry in other media though
/r/MensRights03/05/23 11:20 PM
1

nothing is decided for me please stop that nonsense
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/23 09:05 PM
1

and to get it, you have to chase
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 02:03 PM
2

of course I do, who are you to decide anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 02:01 PM
1

then it contradicts your last paragraph...
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/23 02:00 PM
3

I will define myself what my 'role' as a man is, thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 03:19 PM
9

Your 3 points refer mostly to friendships more than romantic relationships...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 03:14 PM
1

So you basically don't want to answer my question...
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/23 11:51 PM
2

...but why wouldn't the same logic happen in reverse? If a woman doesn't offer to split the bill, wouldn't that mean she's not interested enough and only wanted a free meal in a fancy restaurant?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/23 03:11 AM
1

I won't
/r/MensRights02/01/23 04:54 AM
6

they actually filmed something like that? and shared it? I mean... I know it's war and all but damn... even an enemy soldier deserves a minimum of decency
/r/MensRights01/01/23 07:28 AM
6

hey... you can go take a walk at 3 in the morning without fear of being raped, that's obvious privilege! /s
/r/MensRights01/01/23 07:25 AM
3

what? how?
/r/MensRights22/05/22 02:56 PM
4

obvious doesn't mean right
/r/AntiFeminists21/05/22 08:57 PM
2

...all of this is gender discrimination to begin with
/r/AntiFeminists21/05/22 08:56 PM
2

so... a white driver could refuse to take on a black client?
/r/AntiFeminists21/05/22 08:55 PM
6

as long as you allow the same for clients
/r/AntiFeminists21/05/22 08:52 PM
4

Would you accept the situation in reverse? A male driver refusing to take on a female client? or... maybe a white driver refusing to take on a black client? or a Jewish one?
/r/AntiFeminists21/05/22 08:51 PM
4

still cropped when I click on it
/r/MensRights13/05/22 11:29 PM
1

it's not, that's where you're wrong... like I said, it's the first to be checked on the list for obvious reasons, but for someone looking to begin a romantic relationship and not just a one night stand, it's the first of many criteria that will be evaluated... frankly, the idea that a man is prohibited from speaking to a woman he finds attractive because it -might- bother her is ludicrous to me... you're trying to compartimentalize the more vital element of human interactions, a natural process …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 02:33 AM
2

very true trying to develop a friendly relationship with a woman so that you can later somehow change that into a romantic relationship is... complicated at best, and will probably only make you look like an hypocrite
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 02:06 AM
1

it's kinda hard to judge anything other than looks when you don't get to talk to the person, don't you think? but yes... of course it's a criteria, saying otherwise would be stupid (or dishonest) it's certainly not the only one, unless the guy is purely searching for a sex partner, but I'm not really talking about that
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 12:25 AM

Men were definitely still considered creeps though. not at the same level as we see today
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 12:08 AM
1

Cold approaching is hardly ever appropriate. there should be venues where cold approach is not automatically viewed as 'abhorrent' believe it or not, there are people out there who are not with the same partner since they were 20 years old...
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 12:06 AM
1

I’m hard pressed to see that a venue exclusively for forming nascent romantic attachments has often or ever existed on a reliable basis. because that venue was ... everywhere workplace, bar, school, bus stop, anywhere a man could talk to women and not be considered a 'creep' ... but these days are over just look at the comments on this very thread: many women want searches for a romantic partner to be limited to online dating sites now... I guess it's more convenient for them that way there's cl…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:41 PM
5

that's the best way to get in plenty of trouble
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:33 PM
1

there's no need for a button, just for a physical place (in the real world) where women are actually approachable for romantic relationships (and not friendship) from what I've read in this thread so far, I don't think that place exists anymore... replaced by online dating sites which have their own list of problems
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:22 PM
2

do you at least understand that women like you are part of the problem? you're basically banning men from ever approaching a woman in the 'real' life, (outside of online dating), which is ... insane women like you are the reason men are so reluctant to approach women in ANY context because they don't want to be seen as 'creepy'
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:16 PM
1

you are very lucky if you kept that many friends from high school... most people don't stay in touch once whatever setting made them in contact is over (be it school, work, or a group of some kind)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 10:58 PM
13

that's a lot of time and effort for possibly zero actual results in the end and... searching for friends vs searching for a romantic relationship are really two different things
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 10:39 PM
2

why wouldn't we all write about interesting people, whatever their gender is? If the goal is to strive for universal knowledge, we should describe the world (and its past) as it is, not as we want it to be again... true equality is the absence of discrimination
/r/MensRights06/03/22 06:52 PM
2

Encouraging contributors to write about more women doesn’t mean less men are going to be recognized for their accomplishments. ...this is exactly what it means, because the people writing articles have a finite amount of time to do their research not that it matters, because this will not make millions of historically important women to magically appear just because feminists want it to be
/r/MensRights05/03/22 09:47 PM
1

why not write about notable * people * in recent times? universal knowledge cannot be restricted by identity politics why the need to always needlessly gender everything?
/r/MensRights05/03/22 09:33 PM
1

So you want articles about anonymous 'caregivers' who had no part in any historical event or decision? that's not how Wikipedia works
/r/MensRights05/03/22 09:31 PM
2

Women are 50 percent of our history they're aren't 50% of recorded history, which is the whole point here
/r/MensRights05/03/22 09:28 PM
1

that kind of 'service' is illegal in most countries...
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 05:32 AM

He was imposing his beliefs on her and trying to stop her from expressing herself as she saw fit. for the second time, no he wasn't you keep lying and gaslighting, stop it
/r/AntiFeminists20/01/22 04:05 AM
1

doesn't matter who you were answering to... that doesn't make what you said right
/r/AntiFeminists20/01/22 02:55 AM
2

and you want men to be completely subservient to women and accept any behavior they have without complaint... or else they're "insecure" or downright sexist that's obvious misandry
/r/AntiFeminists20/01/22 02:51 AM
1

He doesn’t really have a right to impose his choices of wardrobe onto her, period. he didn't... she has the right to wear what she wants, and that's exactly what she did he also has the right to have personal limits as to what behavior he can accept in a relationship and what he can't... he also has the right to end any relationship for any reason he choses
/r/AntiFeminists20/01/22 02:45 AM
1

then you and everyone else should listen to her misandristic ramblings as the result of a deranged mind damaged by trauma put an imaginary white lab coat around yourself when you listen to her
/r/AntiFeminists04/01/22 05:45 PM
2

it seems she has a personal problem with men, maybe due to some trauma in her past the only way for her to get past that is seeing a psychologist
/r/AntiFeminists04/01/22 05:20 PM

yeah
/r/AntiFeminists04/01/22 04:06 PM

what did she say?
/r/AntiFeminists04/01/22 03:32 PM

and "attractive" means men who have a lot of money
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 10:39 AM

that is... frightening
/r/AntiFeminists04/10/21 07:10 PM

because these women hate men, simple as that
/r/AntiFeminists24/09/21 01:25 AM

I honestly think we need to report every hateful post in that subreddit, and be unrelenting about it. Force Reddit to show their misandry if they continue to ignore a massive amount of complaints about this sub.

Funny how nobody attacks the WOMEN who are anti-abortion (of which there are plenty), but there's always plenty of misandrists pushing the false narrative that it's only men who want to "control women bodies"...
/r/AntiFeminists06/09/21 05:20 AM

The fact that this sub isn't even quarantined tells you everything you need to know about the reddit admins. This sub propagates hateful misandric ideas DAILY.

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/05/21 04:11 AM

they call that "safe spaces", free from "harassment" in reality, it's exactly what you describe: basically a group of users who validate each other by having the exact same opinions... in other words, an echo chamber
/r/MensRights19/04/21 04:12 AM
4

there are non-woke leftists... probably more than you think ;)
/r/MensRights19/04/21 04:02 AM
4

that's the sub she was refering to?
/r/MensRights19/04/21 04:01 AM
16

it goes way farther than that... teaching only boys not to rape will reinforce the girls' already formed mindset that they are little princesses who can do nothing wrong and can only be the victims in any situation involving boys (or later, men)
/r/MensRights19/04/21 03:58 AM
6

"label and dismiss" is the favorite tactic of woke people... because it's way easier than to have a real conversation where all points of view are taken into account
/r/MensRights19/04/21 03:54 AM
27

gender has nothing to do with rape just tell everyone to not rape anyone... as simple as that calling out just one gender is stupid and divisive but the vast majority of rape cases are committed by men. and yet, you admitted in the same sentence that woman-on-man rape is largely unreported you undermined your own 'fact'
/r/MensRights19/04/21 03:50 AM
6

misandrist policies can seriously impact men's lives... so no, it's not "dumb shit"
/r/MensRights15/04/21 06:09 PM
5

It’s like you live in a world where women are put on a pedestal and worshipped because that's the world we live in ever heard of the "women are wonderful" effect? also, women have inherent value in society while men are always expendable
/r/MensRights15/04/21 04:28 PM
10

are feminist counter-viewpoints automatically deleted here?
/r/MensRights15/04/21 04:24 PM
10

it's a place for women to share their misandrist lies with other women and congratulate each other for their hate of men there, I corrected your statement for you
/r/MensRights15/04/21 04:23 PM
6

this is a weak comparison at best gender discussions are heavily politicized, which can easily create echo chambers if counter viewpoints are not allowed a better comparison would be a socialist subreddit banning right-wing posts
/r/MensRights15/04/21 04:19 PM
33

yes, I bet even George Orwell would be surprised by the level of insanity of the 'woke' crowd
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates12/04/21 07:51 AM
19

Anyone can be condescending, so why make it a gendered issue? And again, whatever reason why the term "mansplaining" was invented is irrelevant because it's mostly used now by women to silence men they don't like. I don't see how the way men sit is inherently 'condescending'.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates12/04/21 07:43 AM
17

I've seen way more misandric comments made by women than misogynistic comments made by men. I'd say it's a 90/10 ratio at this point.

/r/PussyPassDenied02/03/21 12:58 AM

same here this is the kind of reply that leads to men simply ignoring women online (and sometimes in real life too)
/r/PussyPassDenied27/02/21 04:05 PM
2

exactly this is sometimes ironic because many men use these criteria for attractiveness, which are based on fertility, even if they don't want children hard to go against millenia of natural evolution...

why go back to the times when homo sapiens didn't even exist? but yes... from the very beginnings of humanity, both genders have had very distinct roles, until women were slowly but surely confined to domestic tasks while men took control of the world (at least until modern times) so yeah, like I said, men built the world because they kept women out of it most of the time (until, again, modern times)
/r/MGTOW21/09/20 08:51 PM
1

let me ask you something: was it possible for a woman to become a scientist in, say, 1753? was it possible for a woman to become a sturgeon in, say, 1835? was it possible for a woman to become an engineer in, say, 1870? you're right, there was always exceptions to the rule but they were just that, exceptions the reality is that men are the gender who built the world simply because they kept women out of it most of the time
/r/MGTOW21/09/20 08:43 PM

I'll play Devil's Advocate here... women didn't do any of those things historically because they simply weren't encouraged or allowed to do anything other than marry, have kids and stay at home

falling in love is an involuntary biological and emotional reaction, NOT a conscious rational decision and again, it's not like he wants to marry her or go live with her, he just wants to spend time with her, and she's annoyed because he... takes her hand? really? it's HER responsibility to make it clear to him that she doesn't want the kind of relationship he seems to want, but instead of talking to him, she prefers to go bitch online, because she's a coward there's so many immature women out t…

you don't understand the guy in that story then he found a girl he seems deeply in love with and wants to spend most of his time with her, which is a perfectly normal reaction usually, people that love each other want to spend time with each other the problem is... she's not really into him and doesn't have the courage to tell him, because like so many women she's kind of a coward when it comes to telling the truth, and that's why she prefers to anonymously complain online

Well, some companies want to know if the media talk about them, so they hire another company whose job is to scour every newspaper, magazine, TV show, radio show, website, etc. to look for content about them. My job was to manually scan the daily newspapers at the earliest possible time (usually in the middle of the night) and then check out their content for anything related to a list of client we had. It was a good job, well paid (unionized) and not too stressful... until of course we got all …

I used to work the night shift in a job were you had to scan newspapers and check if their articles would talk about a specific list of clients we had. A team of 3 to 5 people, depending on the night. Mostly men, only one woman. Guess who started drama everytime?

/r/MensRights30/08/20 03:48 AM

the level of entitlement these women show is really what impresses me the most they really believe that men must be at their service and literally pay for everything and of course, men who show no interest to them are either assholes or some kind of insecure weaklings who are "intimidated"
/r/MensRights30/08/20 03:27 AM

I'm sure the majority of women respect men and simply want everyone to be treated equally. Sadly, the minority of angry and vitriolic "feminists" who think "all men are trash" and would "kill all men" receive most of the attention.

that's a larger problem there... we'd need governments at all levels who actually represent the will of the people, instead of the will of their donors and lobbies... but that would be another kind of discussion but yeah, it's the role of government to enforce civil rights and fight against discrimination, that's what ended segregation the problem is that the Supreme Court already decided that discrimination is okay if you are a Christian...

I disagree, I think it can be evaluated in a case-by-case basis. There might be justification for men-only or women-only spaces, as long as there's reciprocity. but it's clear that in an ideal world, I'd prefer that businesses serve every client without exception

I think a business owner that doesn't want to serve either gay people or people of color or other minorities would have a very hard time giving a good reason for it, other than maybe religious reasons, but then again, I'm an atheist and I think that believing in a magical man in the sky is ridiculous and immature.

I don't like discrimination... but also don't like hypocrisy and double standards again, there must be some kind of justification for refusing to serve one or more categories of people, especially minorities That being said, "safe spaces" for women only works if the same people (mostly feminists and woke SJWs) are willing to accept men-only spaces too.

celebrate their abomination you think homosexual couples getting married is an abomination?

problem is: these business owners will find enough clients who either agree with them or don't care we're talking about the United States after all even Masterpiece Cakeshop is still in business, which is an aberration

Good. I always believed that business owners should have the right to choose their clientele. only if there is some justification to it, because otherwise, that's a very dangerous slippery slope... I wouldn't be okay with a place that doesn't want to serve certain categories of people for no reason

It's all about the numbers for them... not enough women CEO, not enough women in politics, not enough women in leading roles in Hollywood... ...but what happens when it's the reverse? There's now way less men who graduate at higher levels of education than women... feminists don't talk about that. Men have alarming suicide rates... feminists don't talk about that. There are many jobs where men are outnumbered by women... feminists don't talk about that. It's all about the numbers, but only the n…

I was refering to the characters. It's hard to identify with teens who almost never seem to have any sexual needs. The fact that it's a fantasy world doesn't make these characters less human.

They are sexless stories though, which makes them less realistic to me.

like I say every time I see something like this: this idea of 'mansplaining' is a subtle but very efficient form of censorship invented by clever feminists to make men shut up

I won't abandon the cause of gender equality just because of all those crazy radical men-hating "feminists", that's true... but I will also vehemently call out their bullsh*t, and I will certainly point out their insane level of censorship and their huge hypocrisy.

I guess my question would be: is there also 'positive discrimination' in the Netherlands for men in jobs dominated by women?

I don't buy art, but if I did, I wouldn't consider the gender of the artist either, that's ridiculous. Some of the best books I've ever read where written by women, and a few of my favourite movies were directed by a woman.

I love how feminists won't let men like what they like or buy what they want to buy or use the words they want to use or have a march like any other group, etc. It's almost like feminists want to control us... how ironic.
