What exactly is the thesis of The Red Pill?Thank you both for the compliments and for the new vocabulary term. I'll use that from here on out. As to the black pill, it's something I have far less reading on, so I hesitate to even attempt a summation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/23 11:21 AM
What exactly is the thesis of The Red Pill? Thanks for the reply. I did go through the sidebar there some time ago as well as reading some articles outside of reddit to look for insight. Unfortunately, the nebulous nature of both led me to this post. For instance, in that sidebar they have a lengthy 'takedown' of feminist study - related to dating maybe, but hardly the core you mention. Hence, my post here looking for clarification from the die-hards. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/23 10:59 AM
What exactly is the thesis of The Red Pill?I've certainly seen all three bouncing around in here and other subs covering the red pill, but I would grant that dating is the most core discussion. You may be right in that these are 'red pill adjacent' or 'red pill related' topics rather than the direct thrust. I'll hold back judgment and see what others here say. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/11/23 10:52 AM
Understanding FDSAh, I see. Looking over the rules posting, I feel my post would fall into Critique my theory. "I have x idea. What do you think?" and would be against guidelines. That and most comments thus far were pretty toxic (don't know why I expected different...) Oh well, I'll just skip it and go on with my day. Have a good one. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/21 03:35 PM
Understanding FDSI'm a bit confused here. My first post was removed as I was told it should be a CMV, not discussion. I reposted as a CMV and it has been removed again - what am I missing? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/21 03:22 PM
CMV: Men who don’t want promiscuous women shouldn’t be seen as “misogynistic” or “slut shaming”.Whew, lots to unpack here. First off, it's fine to have your preferences - and I doubt too many people would think having that preference is slut-shaming or misogynistic. Those aspects are coming in your rationale. You're looking to build a family, so you don't want to be with someone who's been with 5 guys? This implies that those women are "out of the question" to have a family with. Pretty textbook slut-shaming. They're more likely to cheat? Well, yes statistically they are, but you can't app… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/11/21 12:28 PM
What are your opinions? I do not think he was rude or weirdDon't know if it counts as ppd material imho. Everybody in this is skeezy, but you can clearly read between the lines. Host: Hey, Tramp 1 - Are you willing to bang some random dude tonight? I'm going to describe him as super awesome, but a virgin. Tramp 1: No way. Though I am clearly trampy as hell to even be in this video, I am attractive and have standards. Maybe I'd bang you, an attractive dude in the same social circle. Host: What about you Tramp 2? Tramp 2: This is incredibly degrading, but… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/09/21 11:19 AM
The name of the game is brutal, painful honesty on this prompt folks.I like this and am a guy. Guys can often miss the forest for the trees interpersonally. How many times have you seen a guy be overcompetitive at a game, need to prove someone wrong in a friendly debate, or interrupt a story to tell their own? The usual point of games, debate, and conversation is for everyone to have a good time. To make friends. No one is giving out cash prizes for 'winning'. Guys have a bad habit of not dating with intention until much later in life. Other than the very traditi… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/09/21 11:32 AM
Experimental Evidence on Gender Differences in Lying BehaviourThanks for sharing this OP. It's interesting. That said, I feel that you have misread this study. For those that didn't read it, the TLDR is that a person is given a small amount of money. They then tell the other player how much it is (but can lie) and offer the other person a share. If the other person rejects the deal, all money is lost. All communication is via computer, but the people do know each other's gender. First, we should have to realize that lying/low-balling here isn't exactly imm… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/06/21 09:51 AM
