In Sweden they say that they earn 80% of men. But studies show that removing factors that determine wage leaves it at less then 2% unexplained. And that number is way more believable then 20 if you ask me.

Try being a Swedish soldier. Work hard, blood sweat and health drains from your body. You have horrible hours and tons of stress. And since 2000-late it's supposed to be more of a normal 9-5 job. But I still earn less then what I migrants have to earn to stay so.

The best possible system would be one that makes the requirements equal right? If a man has to walk this far, carry this much and jump that high the female should to. Those who manage it pass. I'm a soldier in sweden, we have females who are tougher then me, but I still wouldn't want them in branches like our jaegers in combat roles if they don't face the same tests as the men.

I work as a soldier in Sweden and we have mixed units, same tests for everyone. We have a few short guys, like 165cm, dragging me, with my battlegear on without much of a problem and this is normal, even for smaller guys. I've only met a handfull of females able to drag me, let alone carry me. But, it all works out. Our unit work great together, everyone is open about being nude infront of eachother if we have to. And we know that everyone that is here have manage to make the tests.

Agreed! As a union member and since I do part of the negotiaion I can sometimes see some female being paid less for no apperent reason. But we work hard to make everyone who are "the same" get the same pay. Btw, funny sidenote. Did a work test today that said " We need to stop male on female violence". It was about equality but that irked me.

In sweden we have 15% wage gap in industry. About 1% of those is attributed to sexism, The rest is all explainable.

The practis OP is talking about is during bigger meetings with a whole district for example. And not even there it's realy true. Before the meetings we are devided in to two groups, male and female. These meetings: For men: Talk about Master suppression techniques and how to detect and avoid using them. (We have quiet a few old men that say things like "Hunny", "Sweetie" etc. in a somewhat bad way). We also talk about how we can help women (Since it's almost exclusivly to women in this instance)…
