In this story, based on the information, there is no real victim. Now, this is not to say that false rape accusations do not have victims, but this is not an instance in which there is a victim. As far as the law and society is concerned in this story, this woman is a confirmed liar. A 32 year sentence for this instance would be unjust. I think the outcome, probation, is just.

Right, but see there is no one being charged with rape here. You're speaking as if this crime had an actual consequence except wasting the time of the police. She lied. That's it. We can't judge things on what could have happened. We have to look at what actually happened. Imagine if you got pulled over for going 70 mph in a 50 mph zone. What if you got charged with 10 years in prison because if you had slid off the road going that fast you could have ran into a neighborhood and killed a bunch o…

How butt hurt and insecure do you have to be to make this post about something a little kid said to their parent?

Society has, for the most part, transcended the need for survival. There's no need to get an axe and rebuild from the bottom.

No, you can actually see what I'm asking you, there's no need to act outraged or to continue reaching into your ass. I'm asking you, how is the concern of pregnancy different tan if this freshman had sex with another freshman aged student? My point being that that is not what separates the issue in the article. Pregnancy is always a potential consequence of sex. The boy would still have to same issue, the woman would have even more issues than she has. The issue with this comment thread I'm havi…

Yeah, I'm sick of reading shit like that every time something wrong happens. Why can't we just say "she had sex with a minor and it was wrong." We like to try to make the victim tragic and pitiful as if we need further justification for punishment. Because, in reality, it's extremely unlikely that the boy is going to be forever scarred by this experience. But, just because the boy (or even girl, had that been the case), may have enjoyed, initiated, pursued or consented to their sexual interactio…

I thought, no way anyone would get 32 years for this, especially not an attractive, young, blonde female. And, sure enough, apparently only a maximum of 180 day sentence.

Aside from me not thinking this is even real, 32 years is way too long.

Basically, judges daughter told the original trooper that she paid for some drugs with sex and offered sexual favors for leniency. The trooper arrested her and included that in his report. He was then called in and "asked" to omit that from his report because they didn't want to embarrass the judge. He refused and filed a complaint against his higher ups. This story isn't so much PPD as it is someone with status not getting to get off the hook.

When we say "race doesn't exist" we mean, ontologically speaking, that race is a product of our minds. That is, it does not have a brute existence, it needs human ideals in order for it to exist. Because we treat race as a defining factor, we make it so.

People in general have been less intelligent/creative/influential than those men mentioned before. The differentiating factor is not their whiteness, and you are silly if you think so. Their position in caustic history, for one. Our world is particularly originated from Western Europe. Of course the most influential people in it will be from there.

The equivalent would be of you constantly met a "woman" who you never had seen or communicated with aside from via text and you repeatedly had sex with her through a glory whole. Everyone would just assume you were living out a closeted gay fantasy because there's no way you actually believed that was a real woman.

I was actually banned from that sub for commenting on this sub. No regard to what I actually said or anything. Just simply commenting on a post. Censorship is one of the most unfortunate tools of the left. They seem to have left rhetoric completely in the past at times. How else are we supposed to grow if we don't communicate with each other? "Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion."

Fair enough, but I didn't mean to imply that that was the case. There certainly are women who are successful and expect their partner to be motivated and responsible as well, and a good source of income is an indication of this.

If we say someone made decisions under the influence of alcohol, we don't blame the alcohol for what happened. The blame ultimately falls on the agent who acted but we can understand how their decision making faculties could have been affected. We don't offer any kind of sympathy for their behavior, but we do acknowle that alcohol had an influence on the result. This is essentially what I'm referring to when I suggest that there is influence of men at play. Some men, of course. Not every man is …

I'm not blaming men. I'm basically saying what your original interpretation of my view was lol. I do never say it's her fault in the comment quoted because it didn't seem necessary..the poster above me was accusing feminism's influence and my view was... well, you read it. But obviously these outside factors are clearly only influences and ultimately a person's decisions and character are their own responsibility. I'm just speculating as to why one would become this way. I thought my comment abo…

"He better have a job" is simply the contemporary version of the strongest man getting the women. This isn't due to pop culture. Wealth is the new power. In terms of a woman's survival, a man better have a job if he's going to court her. That means she will live in relative comfort, have good health, her children will get an education, etc. Of course, you would think that would work both ways since she could easily attain an education and a worthwhile career of her own but there are many women w…

Yeah, at face value the list is reasonable and is exactly what most people actually want. But there's something off putting about actually listing it. The context of the image is that she's basically telling him to come correct or fuck off without actually displaying any self worth of her own. But you're right. There actually is nothing with anything she says, funnily enough

You can read the rest of my comments here to see what I'm saying. But it should be clear by my original comment that I her responsible for her actions. I'm not blaming men in those comments you quoted, I'm saying their influence on her development was negative and in my opinion a much bigger factor than feminism. Ultimately, she's the one who makes her decisions just like anyone else, but the way our minds works and the decisions we make are influenced by our environment. I'm just speculating to…

I wonder where anything in the image implies sluttiness. In fact, judging by her criteria for the type of man she wants, one could assume that she actually has good standards from men. This is usually where you strong father figure argument comes from. She is saying that not just any man can have her, they have to exhibit these characteristics which is not in fact sluttiness. Radical feminism culture is not as pervasive as you think in mainstream culture. Most people don't have any idea what it …

I'm not shaming men, nor placing the blame fully on men. The woman is a free agent is she is able to make her own decisions about her character, just as anyone else is. But, just like anyone else, the influence of her environment play a role into the person she will shape up to be. This behavior can be observed is not the result of feminism telling people to go get yours, or whatever. There is a component to many feminist ideals that encourages sexual freedom and experimentation amongst women, m…

Nah, women who are shitty due to feminism display a different sort of entitlement. While the girl here is definitely suffering from a false sense of entitlement, this isn't the sort that any feminism I've ever heard of breeds. This is standard egomaniacal behavior for someone who's sex appeal is given too much power. She's not this way because she's a women, and I feel she doesn't hold too much onto the title woman. She's like this because she's sexy and just about every man she's ever known has…

I think it's more than just modern feminism. This is an instance where I would say it falls more on men's objectification of women. Sort of like a pretty girl syndrome, if you will. You develop physical attractiveness at a young age and men don't mind what you're putting out, they simply want to fuck you. I've seen it for years. No matter what she says or does, they're are going to be dudes telling her she's special and coaxing her ego into the narcissistic dragon it's become simply because of s…
