You're with the wrong woman. How can someone possibly love you and treat you like that? It's unfortunate you already have a child with her, because that complicates things. Her behavior about your mother's death, for me, would be a deal breaker. She sounds selfish and unfeeling. No, men don't have to settle for being unappreciated or treated so badly. What men do need to do is not rush into relationships. People are too quick to have kids too soon in a relationship and end up unhappy and the kid…

And in reaction to this, the concept of the strong male is being corrupted into a guy that feels the need to carry a gun everywhere, and is hateful, mysognistic and willfully ignorant.

I don't know about "most" being men. In some regions, the women were persecuted to the point that there were no women left in some villages. It was a very dark time in history and people were desperate for order, so they went after the misfits...mostly women were not "obedient" enough.

But were the things she was doing to the men actual arrestable offenses? Or was she just being a bitch? Pulling a knife is a whole other thing than just lying about someone and it's a shame no one could get her for poisoning a cat--personally I don't think cats should be allowed to roam, but that's me. Anyway, are you SURE they only became involved because it was a woman or are you just mad that it involved a woman?

I honestly don't see the big deal. It's a silly scene about embarrassing someone who is usually large and in charge. Try to learn to take a joke that's not even directed at you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
