I say “sure” take her money and buy her what she asked for. I brought the drink over and gave it to her, immediately left afterwards and went to talk to other girls. What are you, a waiter?

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal.

That feeling is inside of you, it's not their fault you feel inadequate. And like the OP said, nobody gives a fuck about how you look. If anything, they're gonna give you a little iota of respect right off the bat simply for having the balls to drag your ass in and try to improve yourself.

Wasn't buzzfeed the source of all the pro-cuckoldry shit recently? You'd have a hard time convincing anyone with an even slightly critical eye that buzzfeed at this point is anything more than a propaganda mill.

The more you do the things that make you anxious, the less anxious they will make you. Figure out your mental triggers and then pursue them, don't avoid them.

I would accept the error as my own and offer remedies to unfuck the situation, but I wouldn't grovel and beg for forgiveness. Always push forward.

I'm 5'10" and went from ~210 of lazy shit amorphous blob to 175 with lean muscle. In two years I went from stressed out tech bro to ottermode ... well, stressed out tech bro. My interactions with people, professionally and personally, is drastically different. People seem to give me the benefit of the doubt more often, are more outgoing towards me, and generally just sorta nicer - for a lack of a better way to put it. If you do nothing else regarding changing your lot in the world, start working…

There is an old Japanese phrase - kenjataimu - that refers to the moments post orgasm where you can actually begin thinking clearly again for a short time. What you discovered isn't a new idea, not by a long shot. It's just another realization of the hardwiring that exists in our minds that formed there by tens of thousands of years of evolution.

Portland used to be cool because of all of proto hippy retired at 23 types doing cool shit. Now they have been displaced largely by monied Bay Area refugees looking for a far lower cost of living, so the town is generally far less cool than it was even a couple years ago. NYC is like SF. If you have the money it's the best place in the world. If you're working to pay rent it's generally a pretty miserable existence.

I have heard of this incident but this is the first I read details about it. That has to be one of the more bizarre things I've ever heard of a C-level exec doing in this town, and the professional envelope pushers do some pretty oddball shit.

Your list of her first actions are basically suicide in Silicon Valley. The companies here provide all of these insane perks (not just the base level stuff she threw out the window) specifically to attract the best talent possible. You lose your talent and the well will quickly run dry, something she might finally be starting to realize. The only movement I personally have seen from Yahoo in the past 18 months in SF is a series of inexplicable billboards showing only their logo - a real sign tha…

In all areas of life a man must set boundaries and enforce them. Including women. Giving a shit is not weakness, that's holding others to your standard. And it's not about what the girl thinks. Who gives a shit? It's about respect. Well put. I get the whole IDGAF thing, but at the same time you can't just let people walk all over you.

Sounds dumb but just letting go and not trying to actively get anything out of it is how it started working for me. Just sit there and listen to whatever (I dig whatever guided meditations and yoga nidra) and accept it as a chance to reset and become more effective in other facets of your life. It takes a while but that trance state is natural for people. Watch people around a campfire for the best example IRL. Also, download Musi and listen to the million meditations on YouTube for free.

Pretty much anywhere else, SF is an aberration. And I honestly think it has a lot to do with the economic climate here. Women come here to make money, not find a husband. Unless you're into below average Asian girls. My joke is that SF is where my Asian fetish went to die.

Nobody said rude. They're just not as attractive as most of them think they are. Then again, considering the average, they might be right. And seeing attractive girls isn't some impossibility in a city with this population density, you just have to realize that they're pretty far and few in between for so many people. The whole 49ers thing was a joke before I got here ~6 years ago. And I'm everywhere between the FiDi and Hayes Valley daily, boozing excursions to North Beach & the Mission as the …

It's just my personal observation, but there are very few 7-9s here in the city. There is the occasional 10, but they're looking for that dot com billionaire dick. Above average women are as rare as a Muni bus without a screaming crackhead on it.
/r/TheRedPill22/01/16 01:51 AM

SF here too, and the 49ers thing is not a myth. I moved here from Portland and it was filled with decent looking women, and mostly all were very approachable. In SF most, if not all, have extremely inflated self worth. I can't help but think it's because of how expensive and competitive it is here, this town runs on ego. Anyway, if you just want to get laid go "accidentally" run into one of those tourist pub crawls. Those are like fishing with dynamite.

didn't matter one bit ...all the incentives in the world aren't really going to change anything. We did the same thing at a previous position for sysadmin and network admin jobs. Five grand bounty for a woman that made it six months. In two and a half years, it wasn't claimed a single time. I personally looked in a half dozen places, including reddit, and found one person that lasted about two weeks before leaving for lunch and never coming back. You can self actualize as a masculine, stable person without being a meathead. It's pretty indicative of your mindset thinking that masculinity is the same as being a "self centered ass". /r/TheRedPill - avoid any argument that is half acronyms or weird codewords, and take everything with a grain of salt. Decide for yourself what is true, it's all theory anyway. Make the version that is right for yourself.

At the time he absconded, Hans Mills was under court order to pay his ex-wife, Donna Mills, $2,235 per month for the support of their children and $1,537 a month for spousal support. He also had been hit with substantial retroactive payments and ordered to pay his ex-wife’s legal costs. If you have kids, you should support them no matter what. Be a fucking man and do the right thing. But being forced into poverty to support an ex partner is absolutely incomprehensible to me.

Half the women in my office bitch about the environment while running a space heater full bore for 10 months out of the year at their desks. It got so bad that our parent company actually had to ban them because they had almost doubled our electrical costs. They're almost all in the over-40 set, I have no idea if that has anything to do with their incessant bitching about the temperature.

Exactly. You have to sit there and consciously remember to hold your legs closed. I'm not apologizing for the guys that sit all gangster style taking up two and a half seats, but for fucks sake I'm not gonna feel bad for sitting normally. This whole "manspreading" bullshit has nothing to do with space any everything to do with control. I'm not gonna prostrate myself because feminist society suddenly thinks I'm obliged to.

Right now starting a family isnt on my radar, so that's a moot point. And at the end of the day I'm living in San Francisco, and you're living in some flyover burb populated with people in 65k houses.

Like I said before, San Francisco provides me with future opportunities that wouldn't be available to me in other places. I guess my rent is just an investment that I hope pays off in the long run. And honestly, rent is going up massively everywhere. I just moved from Portland and going rate for a 1 bed in a good area there is around 1500 / month, Denver (my hometown) is even worse.

A 1 bed apartment in San Francisco is something like $3000 a month. $3500 for an area you want to actually live in.

/u/theyellowrose from /r/offmychest banned me as well, for posting on /r/TheRedPill that my grandfather supported a large family on an enlisted mans salary in the army, while my money doesn't go nearly as far today. I asked her to ban me from the rest of the subs that she moderates, and she declined. I like to think that she had a moment of clarity and realized that banning middle of the road types accomplishes nothing more than pushing the masses away from her point of view.

I asked the mod and that's what she told me. I asked her to ban me from the other 35 subs that she moderates, as I dont need her toxic viewpoint to be part of my worldview. She, of course, declined. Maybe in that instant she realized that banning everyone for everything is just pushing people away from her cause.

I'm not complaining, I'm stating a widely known fact. And yeah, I could make close to the same amount of money with a lower cost of living somewhere like Austin, but the cost would be missing out on the tech startup scene that doesn't exist anywhere else ... at least not within a hundred miles of what it is here.

I live in San Francisco, which is where I need to be to expand my career options. There is no version of cheaper around here. But regardless, the point stands. Income is stagnant, and the cost of living is 10x what it was a generation ago. That 700 bucks would have payed a mortgage not too long ago.

It's not state sponsored, but it is borne from a mob mentality and carried along by threats of non-conformity to the politically correct status quo. You can look up a hundred people that were doxxed and reprimanded because of perfectly legal opinions that they had.

/r/portland is on par with the worst of the city subreddits. You can go on there right now and say that the sky is blue and you'll immediately be downvoted by 100 people saying its cyan, or azure, or periwinkle, and saying you're a child molesting, intolerant, reincarnation of Hitler for believing otherwise. Local subs are circlejerk massacres, and /r/portland is one of the worst of the bunch.

I once spent the night in jail for a friend jumping out of the car I was in and pulling a Raiders flag off of someone's house. In Denver, displaying a Raider's flag on one's home is usually punishable by death, so we thought we were letting them off light. DPD disagreed, and I spent the night in Denver City Jail. In the eyes of the law, me being physically near to a person deciding to pull down an NFL flag is equal to this woman doing almost 2x the speed limit and ending a person's fucking life.…

If I wrote everything but said "my friends dad" instead of Tony Soprano Well I know Tony Soprano's character ... his life, his background, and intimate details of his life. Your "friends dad" I'd know fuck-all about, besides your conformation bias filled background info. And my point stands.
