My mother blatantly said "This is called karma for what men have done to women"Just learn from this. | /r/MensRights | 26/11/21 05:16 AM
| -2 | I am not having my baby circumcisedDon’t quote me on this but I don’t think so. It was a while ago now, but I remember something like the anesthesia wasn’t “covered” because it was an elective procedure. So it would have cost him $100+ or something like that. He didn’t have the money. I didn’t find out until years later he moved in with me a for a while. He was still pretty messed up. His family was shit though so he had a lot of problems. | /r/MensRights | 25/11/21 08:20 PM |
Equal rights really means special privilegeTaking bets on how long before this thread is locked out. I give it two hours. | /r/MensRights | 25/11/21 05:20 PM
| -8 | I am not having my baby circumcisedYep. Just one example of course. A couple kids found out about my cousins circumcision at 16 and bullied him mercilessly. Dropped out of school had to finish later. Devastated him. But lots of bullying too regardless of circumstance unfortunately. | /r/MensRights | 25/11/21 05:03 PM |
| -24 | I am not having my baby circumcisedJust one example. But my cousin wasn’t circumcised and he had repeated painful infections. At 16 he chose to get it done and that was a painful nightmare for him. He was so upset at his parents he moved out at 17. It’s fine if you choose not to, but understand you run the risk of him being upset at you later for not getting it done. | /r/MensRights | 25/11/21 04:51 PM |
What do we think about double consent?Nobody would believe it. Sometimes people don’t even believe the first consent. She would conveniently forget. You would need to get it in writing. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/21 04:55 PM
Once and for all - criticizing feminism is not being against women or "hating women", being anti-feminism is in no way whatsoever being against equality. Whenever feminism becomes harmful, being supportive of equality to all and particularly to women becomes being anti-feminism as it should.Yesterday i was attacked in a thread by self-proclaimed feminists for pointing out there are gender inequalities and that I was trying to help change this fact. Feminism is confusing as hell. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/21 03:42 PM
Have I been sexually harassed?She would be fired today. | /r/MensRights | 24/11/21 11:36 AM
One of my worst fears is a women forcing me to pay child support for a child I didn’t want.Yep. $3000 a month for two kids with a woman who was “not able to have kids”. DRs were wrong. Lol | /r/MensRights | 24/11/21 10:05 AM
what is the most sexist things against men no one cares about or aknowledgesNo. Thank you for opening it up. Men’s rights and feelings need to be discussed more. Seriously enjoy reading all the posts and opinions. On another thread I was attacked by feminists. Great to hear similar opinions. | /r/MensRights | 23/11/21 07:21 PM
what is the most sexist things against men no one cares about or aknowledgesI like this thread. Great discussion ! | /r/MensRights | 23/11/21 07:10 PM
what is the most sexist things against men no one cares about or aknowledgesYes. See GP and BL for this | /r/MensRights | 23/11/21 06:18 PM
what is the most sexist things against men no one cares about or aknowledgesWow. Good one. Made me think. | /r/MensRights | 23/11/21 04:41 PM
Advice for the dating worldDon’t have sex on the first date, avoid any woman willing to have sex on the first date. | /r/MensRights | 22/11/21 11:05 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingYes exactly, same here. I’m not supporting BL, no way. But just looking at it as a real life case study. It’s fascinating (horrifying?) the conclusions people jump to. People want nation wide police re-trying of DV because they didn’t arrest BL on the spot. Arrest him for what ? Nothing in that video shows me anything but two young kids in a bad relationship. Can we arrest men for that now ? | /r/MensRights | 05/11/21 05:29 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingYep. Female on man violence is harder to spot. It’s not bruises and fights. It’s usually emotional and neglect. I was the same as you it happened so quietly I thought it was normal. After a while I had no friends left and no family. Just me and her and she was always right and I was always wrong. You’ll get over it though. It actually kind of helped me. Once I finally found a good woman I was so appreciative every day. The hard part is talking about it without it getting you down. | /r/MensRights | 04/11/21 09:28 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingOh yes. No beer before using that app for sure. Have to text like you’re speaking directly to a judge. | /r/MensRights | 04/11/21 07:52 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingYes and no. I’m much better but we still have to coparent which causes significant stress. We can’t even text or call, all communication goes through a “coparenting” app which moderates and records the conversation for the courts. | /r/MensRights | 04/11/21 07:42 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingExactly. Every person should be treated equally and fairly, with respect and intelligence. Equality. Feminism shouldn’t even be a word. As a man. After I got divorced it took me two years to realize that I was being abused. I read a couple books and learned about abuse and found out many of the things I blamed myself for were simply not true. And the funny thing is we went to marriage counseling many times and I look back on that and shake my head that not one supposedly highly trained therapist… | /r/MensRights | 04/11/21 06:28 PM
I am really sick and tired of how normalised it is to hate on men and the damage its causingMaybe this is too soon but just look at the Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito case. The police footage not the homicide. She had been attacking him, to the point he hit a curb and got pulled over. Yet he was immediately tagged as an oppressive abusive jealous psychopathic narcissist. When anything gets discussed about Gabby it’s all “well the poor girl was just fighting back from his abuse, poor thing”. Even the smallest mention that they were probably abusing each other (because abuse can be a tw… | /r/MensRights | 04/11/21 06:08 PM
What did YOU go dressed as for Halloween, this year?Umm. I may sound old. But I wouldn’t like my 16 year old to have a $ sign between her legs. Super shitty costume. | /r/MensRights | 03/11/21 12:18 AM
Difficult taking whatever wave we are in "feminists" seriously when women in places like Afghanistan really suffer and are ignored.I don’t disagree entirely. I sent an email at work saying “thank you ladies” and got in trouble. But keep in mind in saying this (ie comparing all our life issues to that of the entire world) nobody can complain about anything. It’s like saying I shouldn’t be upset my kid is being bullied at school because some 8 year kid somewhere is holding an AK. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/21 06:50 AM
If you want to be in a relationship, find a foreign woman. Advice I wish I had as a young man.Umm. Narcissism much. | /r/MensRights | 30/10/21 08:15 PM
Discrimination while looking for a place to rent?Lol. Good point. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/21 09:19 PM

Discrimination while looking for a place to rent?Yeah this happens everywhere. Tell them you are gay. You’ll have an apartment in no time. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/21 04:02 PM
My “bond” is “less than” hers bc she’s a mother, and I’m a father. It sounds like you are in a DV situation. | /r/MensRights | 29/10/21 07:57 AM
What parts of the American society are men being oppressed by women? Use evidence!Family Law. Even if a 50/50 situation the man pays $ | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 10:03 AM
ignore vs engage - talking strategyThis. I was going to post. But this covers it better than I would have. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 10:01 AM
Literally gutted for nothingDon’t ever quit. Find another job sure. But when you do you can make multiple complaints. Human rights, ohs, employment standards. Etc… | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 09:58 AM
Why this fucking world can't treat men and women as equal!Breasts = change. Lol. Get used to it. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 09:53 AM
Where do you see the society going in the next 5 years with these anti men and pro women laws and policies ?Completely different topic, completely different debate. I’m not discussing 100/ 0 care situations I have been discussing 50/ 50 care situations. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 05:34 PM
| -1 | Preferential treatment is the new equality. If you belong to the right group that is. Dig into one of Feminisms end games. Equity. Have fun.Agreed. This whole thread isn’t honest discussion it’s gone completely fanatical. I disagree with a lot of the feminism going on, there are problems to be discussed for sure. But if you don’t think a woman deserves paid time off work to birth and breastfeed a newborn child then move to Afghanistan. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 04:28 PM |
Where do you see the society going in the next 5 years with these anti men and pro women laws and policies ?You’re playing right into my point. 50/50. Both parents parent, both are “parents in care”. Equal time, equal expenses. So you’re saying my fiancée deserves that $ because she’s the mother? Doesn’t make any sense. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 04:05 PM
Where do you see the society going in the next 5 years with these anti men and pro women laws and policies ?We do mostly. We pay for all the clothes, hobbies, etc.. it probably evens out. We have a good relationship with the kids father. You’re kinda missing the point though (no disrespect) that in an equal $ situation the man still pays (according to the courts). | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 05:06 AM
| -11 | Preferential treatment is the new equality. If you belong to the right group that is. Dig into one of Feminisms end games. Equity. Have fun. You’re on a bender ! See what I did there ? Look I generally disagree with equity. But when women need to take time off work to birth and raise children. I think they deserve equity. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 04:43 AM |
Where do you see the society going in the next 5 years with these anti men and pro women laws and policies ?No we are good. We even asked for it to stop. But it’s a court ordered payment. We have no control. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 04:23 AM
Where do you see the society going in the next 5 years with these anti men and pro women laws and policies ?Planet of the apes. All men in jail for sexual assault. Women rule the world. Seriously though. It’s a better world. I just wish they could change Family Law to reflect current events. Men aren’t the sole “breadwinners” anymore. Both men and women parent. Both men and women have careers. Example. My fiancée has a kid with her ex. Everything is 50/50. They both have careers. Yet somehow he still has to pay her $700 per month because “man”. | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 04:11 AM
| -5 | Preferential treatment is the new equality. If you belong to the right group that is. Dig into one of Feminisms end games. Equity. Have fun. What ? | /r/MensRights | 27/10/21 03:24 AM |
What should be defined as real sexual assault?I don’t think you are talking about what is a “real assault” as much as how to protect yourself from being charged with sexual assault. In the US colleges years ago put in place a 51/49 policy. Meaning if a woman claimed sexual assault the man had to prove he was innocent. Essentially guilty until proven innocent. Many courts and LE still operate with this mentality. Don’t delete anything. Keep all texts, pics, social media… everything to help you prove it was consensual. If you are accused imme… | /r/MensRights | 26/10/21 11:36 PM
