Yeah I really liked him other than that so it was a wake up call for sure. He wasn't playing the field, but he was also not interested in commiting to me either so I was done with it.

Definitely! I didn't realize this until I dated a guy for 5 months and assumed we were bf/gf. I mentioned it once to him and he said we weren't yet because he didn't have feelings for me still. I was pissed, I broke up with him. You should be able to tell at least after a couple months.

Well I completely agree. Guys like to undermine problems it seems

Ewww I hate the copypasta messages, those guys are gross. I had one that was a poem once. I was like for one that's gross you copy paste that to every woman and for two I don't like poems so good luck with that.

Wow she's like 20 times better looking than him, I feel like that's low balling though. She should get a different boyfriend, such disrespect.

I totally agree, I'd be happy if they completely left me alone or treated me like another guy instead. It's disgusting how many will try to touch you or cat call you for no other reason than they think you're attractive. Entitled assholes everywhere, be careful out there.

Yeah my sister does this too, super obnoxious. I told her to stop complaining to me about it if she's not going to do anything about it. Every times she whines I say get a new husband! Plenty of guys out there, or enjoy being single for once. I don't stay in touch with friends when they do this constantly but I can't exactly cut my sister out of my life. I've been her only form of emotional support since I was born.

I found this through r/dating from a post a guy put up about women having too high of standards and no guys can meet them. I'm so sick of that crap, like they're not looking for model type girls themselves? But a lady was fighting with them in the comments about it and he said she sounded like FDS which he hated. So I looked it up because if that asshole hated the sub I'd probably like it. I wasn't wrong. I already do a lot of stuff FDS says but it would have been more helpful if I found it youn…

29F - 14 Most I only dated for a month or two before I broke up with them due to incompatibilities I didn't find out until later. Had 3 long term relationships out of it. My current boyfriend I've been with for 1 year now and it's still awesome, we're very happy. It never mattered to me what people say their body count is, I look for other types of red flags like our values being different. My boyfriend told me in the beginning that he was inexperienced and only had sex a few times, I was totall…

Sounds very pickme, no normal woman would put this sub down. She's being weird and needs help if not a male red pill which it sounds more like is more possible. We have all dealt with horrible LVM and can understand this sub we even if we don't agree with all of it.

I've never even liked a guy enough really to ask him out. I tried asking a guy once because he was nice to me but he acted totally disinterested so I lost my interest immediately.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/05/20 06:23 PM

That's an easy and effective way of getting no women interested in him. I don't get why so many guys whine about condoms but cum in like 5 seconds even with one on. It's ridiculous. Get a guy that's happy to wear condoms and not put you through the hell on birth control pills. They don't want to wear a condom then go home, dildos are better at giving orgasms than most guys. Then you don't have to worry about pregnancy, STDs, rape, or abuse from a dildo either.

Well I'm sure he would have been happy dating without labels for a long time more but I was not. I put too much effort in to be a casual thing. It's not an ultimatum if my needs aren't being met then I'm going to leave.

HA! No one can tell me how to dress. I wear what I want. Some days I look like a hobo and some days I'm cute, but bras are obnoxious. I do what I want

Yeah a while back I was dating a guy for 5 months who I really liked actually. But one day I was joking like guess I'm your girlfriend now huh? Which we never talked about but I just thought we were since we were dating so long exclusively. He said he didn't have feelings for me yet so he wouldn't say we were girlfriend/boyfriend even though he liked me. I got mad and went home thinking about what to say. Told him if he doesn't know how he feels about me yet then I'm out, it's been a long time h…

Yes, actions speak louder than words. I've always dropped guys if they started to act disinterested or wouldn't make time for me. They would say they liked me then made up excuses why they had to suddenly cancel last minute more than once, so I was done with it.

Just btw but COVID 19 can be transmitted through the air so if you have sex it's definitely transmitted if either of you have it. Plus guys have been stuck at home for a while they're going to be super thirsty, it's safer to not date right after unless that's all you want is sex. It's high risk for rape and coronovirus plus whatever STDs they have, please be careful.

Any men's rights people are typically very misogynistic and not respectful of women. He may seem nice right now but if you do something he doesn't like he could react crazy. Because misogynistic guys can be very traditional it may not be something you would have noticed yet. But that he has a problem with feminism is a huge red flag because all feminism is about is equality for all genders. No one should have an issue with it, and a guy like that wouldn't be able to understand any of your proble…

It's usually a big red flag because it means they were over mothered and had everything done for them. Then they expect a woman they date to basically do the same thing and completely mother them as well. Which I find disgusting.

Well that's what I thought you were trying to advocate for. That women should remain virgins, not dating so men would be more likely to better themselves. But I guess you are saying it would be so men who take time to better themselves can have access to more attractive women? I mean there's always women out there, that's why many of the guys who do that date much younger women. So it's already an option technically, without having women put their lives on hold for years.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/20 09:13 PM
1

Except sexual compatibility is also important in a relationship, but I guess you wouldn't understand that if you are a virgin. People have different sex drives and it's something that can completely break a relationship. Women can already choose out of guys so I'm saying your theory doesn't make sense. If guys were going to self improve to meet a woman then they would already be doing it. Except more attractive guys who make more money or have higher status can usually net more women's interest,…

Well that's what you were saying. So weird guys get more of a "chance" with women who are unavailable. I mean women can already do what you're talking about if they wanted to, casually date and meet many guys without picking someone to be exclusive with. That's generally not very safe for women because guys get jealous and angry could take it out on her. If she's having sex with all these guys STDs are a problem and a lot of guys would slut shame her for it anyway. Technically she can have an ex…

I think it's funny how a bunch of guys are complaining about women being able to get into boyfriend girlfriend type of relationships excluding other people. Because all the hot girls are already "taken". Obviously what you say isn't going to have them open their relationships to weird guys who are interested in them even though the women are not interested in those guys at all. I think you're really just fighting about a woman's right to choose a boyfriend and them be exclusive together, which i…

Wow, that's so horrible! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. You're so brave for confronting him. Just thinking of my abuser responding this way has me bursting into angry tears. He's a terrible person and you don't deserve any of this. I'd like to offer that you can message me about this but I'm also not a therapist and still trying to deal with what happened to me. I don't know how helpful I could be to you. I'm just really sad and angry that this happens to women like you and I.

Thanks, I hope you're doing better too. I'm sorry it got so bad, it's good that you talked to a therapist. I already had trouble with depression which is part of how I ended up in my bad situation. I found that it helps to talk about it too, especially the parts that bother you the most. Blaming myself for it was the worst part, I felt like I didn't react well enough. But the fact is they shouldn't have treated us this way and the fault lies with them. It is good to tell other women to watch out…

I'm doing better these days. It's a very normal feeling for anyone that has been abused, it took a while for it to sink in with me too that it wasn't my fault. You're very brave for posting your story so soon after it happened, I didn't even tell anyone for a long time and I was too scared to confront the guy about it. You're amazing, you told him what he did was not ok and you did not consent. It's definitely not your fault, and I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I've been in a very similar situation before and still have problems with PTSD from it. I also didn't report it to the police because I was too shocked and I didn't think they would believe me. Do whatever is healing for you. I really appreciate you warning other women on here, I agree it's not safe right now. Predators are even more on the prowl with less options. I hope therapy is helping and you start feeling better. Well you're generalizing an entire group of women because of your experiences with maybe a couple women. I wouldn't say it's mansplaining because you're not even correct. It's your opinion based only on your perspective and maybe a couple other guys who probably have pretty similar lives/views as you. Money has always been an issue, I grew up poor and always worked for myself along with going to college. So I don't need some millionaire douche bag, I'd rather be poor if those are my only choices…

Not at all. FDS isn't trying to help any guys get sex, it tries to help women have better self esteem so they don't date guys who treat them badly. It's trying to help women have a better idea of what to look for and recognize red flags so they can find great relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 01:38 AM

Why do you think you can speak for a whole group of women? They don't even do that with men. They specifically speak about LVM and HVM so they don't believe all guys are bad and you're getting mad at them for having self respect and standards? A lot of the women on there are perfectly happy just being single and not even dating anymore because they're tired of dealing with guys and I don't blame them. I was lucky enough to find a great guy for me, he's not what someone would consider a Chad but …

Childhood abuse and neglect. How can you tell if someone else is treating you horrible if you were only treated horribly by your parents and also have never seen a healthy relationship? I stayed in my first serious relationship way too long and way too unhappy just because he "loved" me but that was stupid and if he really cared about me then it wouldn't have been all about him all the time.

Yeah just never respond to that junk, also don't respond to: Hey... Heyyyy I would treat you like a queen, why don't you give me a chance? You'll never find someone that meets all your criteria! Unless you want to tell them off like I have on occasion

I agree, guys do that crap a lot. It always feels fake when it's that soon and it pretty much always is. The ones I've dated that wanted to define the relationship that fast have all been bad people. Seem like they're super into you then they cancel plans all the time, make up fake emergencies. Sometimes they completely disappear for a while and you think you've been ghosted then they pop up again randomly in a month or so. I can only think that means they have a wife or family somewhere you don…

Wow that sucks, I'm sorry. That would drive me so crazy. Usually I find out within the first month of dating someone. Sometimes a lot sooner, I started not taking guys seriously who said they weren't sure if they wanted kids.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/02/20 08:22 PM
2

I get that, if you like the way things are why change it? It's hard enough to just find a good partner then kids create a while new obstacle with them. I'm very afraid that if I was a mother with a partner then I'd be responsible for everything and I just wouldn't want that. It would be really hard to have kids with someone who isn't there half the time. I honestly wouldn't even be able to do a relationship like that even where he's gone so much, I've broken up with guys over just that even. Wel…

Well I might just be more pessimistic about the world due to my many bad experiences. It's nice that some people don't feel that way and I hope things are better for them. Yeah I'd say adopting is great and if I ever actually changed my mind, I won't but, I'd be able to adopt and save a couple kids from the foster care systems. I don't have any urge to be a mother though, I have problems with depression and don't think that would be great for any kid I'd take care of. Plus the older I get the le…

Yeah you don't owe it to anybody. It's your life, you can fully do what you want with it. There is a lot more freedom without kids. I think even when you're old not having kids is great because then you don't have horrible grandkids either, it's a win win to me. If you love having cats that's cool, you being happy is what's important.

I think that is a pretty common thing that happens with women, it's like that last chance time if you want kids kind of freaks people out. I've seen a lot of moms and it doesn't look like something that is fun or like I'm missing out. Lots of moms are pretty miserable with all the work they do, I don't see the appeal. But if other people want it that's all them, not my thing. There's no guarantee that kids will take care of you in old age and the money you save from not having kids can definitel…

Ah I've had trouble with happiness and feeling fulfilled in general but having kids would only make it much worse. I've been feeling better lately since I've been working less and doing more of my fun things (hiking, white water rafting, painting, reading, etc). I really don't care about leaving anything behind though, I kind of hope that when I'm gone it's just that, I'm gone. I don't even care if anyone misses me when I'm gone, I'd rather it be that no one was really sad about it.

That's a really smart and responsible kind of thought process. I understand where you're coming from, I would definitely not be happy with children and that's just horrible for kids. It's true a lot of women have trouble with husbands putting in effort with the kids. I know a bunch of ladies with that problem and I never want to be there. That's great you don't get bothered much about your stance on it. It gets tiring trying to explain it to people who don't understand.

That's awesome! I super agree, all your choice. The idea of forced birth scares the hell out of me, I'm so with you. I'm glad I was born in a place that lets women have a choice.

That's great! Being child free is very freeing, pun intended. There are a lot of risks with having kids that I'm not into either, I totally get that. I've had family that give me crap about it but I'm used to it. I just give them crap right back for not supporting women's choices and particularly my choice and boundaries. I'm not afraid of conflict and have gotten in debates with people about this kind of thing a lot. I'd be happy to stick up for anyone else's rights too.

Thanks, that's awesome! I'll have to check that out. I was mostly trying to spread positivity and awareness about this stuff. It is great hearing from other ladies who feel the same though.

That's great! It's very freeing to not worry anymore. I wish you the best with your surgery and recovery, hopefully the give you decent meds for it. My doc only gave me ibuprofen basically, I had to fight them for something more or I couldn't get out of bed. Remember give yourself time to rest and recover.

Oh that's a great way to deal with it! I've gotten very direct and I over explain how much I don't want kids and why with guys. I don't want kids so much that if I accidentally got pregnant by some miracle/nightmare that I would get an abortion. That usually helps my stance sink in with guys. I've thought about getting a hysterectomy before but I thought it would mess with my body too much to fully do that even with keeping my ovaries. Do they let you do that for non medical reasons? I might sti…

Well it's totally ok to not have kids, I know how hard it is finding a decent guy so I feel you there. It's very responsible of you to wait until you find a great partner before you try and have kids if that's what you want.

That's crazy, you already have a kid even! They should shove that opinion straight up their butts. It's great you know what you want and are keeping it that way. Don't let other people give you any BS about it.

That's great! You shouldn't tolerate people giving you any BS about it. It's awesome you let them know right away, I do the same thing. I've had quite a few guys not believe my position to be solid though and tried to lead me on anyway. They would say they're not sure if they want kids but would be ok with whatever the lady wants. Then they let it slip later that they actually want kids and just didn't think a lady would stick to not wanting kids. Drives me nuts, that ever happen to you?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/20 09:55 PM

I'm glad you feel that way. I just wanted to spread awareness and positivity about the subject, I was hoping people would be supportive. Which they are and that's great. I haven't gotten that much positive support about it from people in my normal life. Usually people act like I'm weird, want me to justify my reasoning, or straight up take offense to my position.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/20 09:46 PM
11

Good for you! That's awesome, I'm glad they're letting ladies take this option younger now. If I knew at 21 I would have gotten it done then, I got my surgery done at 27. It was very much worth it even with the recovery time and discomfort.

That's great! I also like connecting with others who have the same position, I haven't met that many in my daily life. I also feel being honest and open about your position with this is great and important with dating too. I hope there are less broken homes and sad parents/kids in the world because of it in the future. I want more people to realize it's an option to just not have kids. Although if people really do want them then that's great too.

Sorry you had to help raise your younger siblings too, I know it sucks. I was never maternal and it should not have been my responsibility just as it should not have been your responsibility. That's great you know what you want and actively keep it that way. I'm very strong in my own position with this and have had a hard time getting men to believe it even. Cool, I appreciate that. I feel like if you really want to be a parent then that's great, especially if you're willing to foster or adopt. There are a lot of kids out there that need it. I think it would be better for everyone if only people that really wanted kids had them, there would be better parents and subsequently better raised kids. Then we would have better adults in the next generations.

I appreciate that and really feel the same but you'd be surprised at how many people take offense to just my not wanting any children. I want more people to feel like it's totally ok to not have kids and don't be pressured by society for something you don't want.

I agree that if you're looking for someone to start a family with gamer men are not a good choice. Many of them spend way too much money/time on the habit and get totally sucked into it and can't even respond to anything while playing video games. My sister's husband is like that and it's just horrible. They have three small children and she is the stay at home mom so he just expects her to take care of all the kids, clean the house, cook, do laundry, and meet all his needs. He then gets butt hu…

It's so true, sometimes it's really hard to see those red flags, especially when you're young and haven't dated much. Guys are good at pretending to be nice and caring in the beginning. I dated a guy for seven years which was a totally toxic relationship but I was too naive to realize it. I just wanted to be loved and have someone there for me which made me blind to the millions of red flags. I still blame myself for staying in all the bad relationships for as long as I did. I agree you really shouldn't do a threesome for a guy. Only do it if it's something you're interested in but even then I wouldn't do it with a guy like that, it won't be fun. I also think you shouldn't do anal or threesomes if you don't want to, a guy should really respect your boundaries when you set them. If they try to berate you for setting boundaries like that then they are jerks and you shouldn't be with them. I am bisexual so I have tried a threesome before, it wasn't for the guy I was da…
