Try typing the 9 digit number into facebook. I'm not sure if people pop up without the full number or not.

I'm not stressing it too badly; it's just the fact that this is literally the FIRST advice he gives in the entire book. If I disagree with the starting advice, it might be a problem haha.

That's a much better way of looking at it! I guess I do kind of lose myself in the relationship. I mean, I have my own interests and life, but it all did kinda come second to my previous relationship. I probably need to work on being less clingy and needy, while still being able to show the vulnerability he was referring to. That'll be a thin line, at least for me. Thanks for the write up!

No sweat man. You don't have to dress nice, just make sure whatever you do wear fits you well, and it's fine. I hope it turns out well!

Honestly, at the age of being a freshman, don't try too hard with girls. I haven't seen a single relationship there amount to anything more than much drama. Be confident, outgoing, and just a little flirty. Be bold, and always take the step of asking for numbers, even if it's just a new friend. Everybody's nervouse freshman year, you'll be fine. Smile as much as possible. Good luck!

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS try and make friends. Letting friends come to you is the quickest way to emd up alone. Be social, talk to everyone. If you think you have a funny joke the class will appreciate, chances are they won't, and you'll just annoy them. Be overly kind, and smile whenever you speak to anybody ay all. Edit: Button-downs and Jeans are enough to get a decent amount of attention. Throw on some khakis that fit well and you'll be golden.

It's late, so I won't go into much detail. I'm not religious, or traditional. I just don't like how much o TRP goes about what they do. Have a good night

I lost those women because I failed to fulfill my role as a man. I was never taught. I was lied to by people who didn't even know they were lying. So were you. You love this girl? You can keep her forever, but only if you read and internalize the wisdom here. Ignore the bitterness, read the sidebar, and understand it. Or don't, and come back in a year and post bitter angry posts yourself. I edited out the rest because you were arguably correct. Are you trying to say TRP is the ONLY way to have a…

In advocating anything that works, isn't it possible to lose your moral standpoint by going too far? Just like the dark triad. There needs to be a line.

hmm, youre making me think here... maybe they dont all deserve the dark triad treatment, but a true RP guy will never force a girl to stay in a relationship, she's free to leave if she wants. some girls just like guys covered in tattoos, who dont give a shit about them and getting wasted every other day. Is it manipulating her if she chooses to stay with him? No. But that doesn't mean you should advocate said tatooed guy getting wasted every day and being a dick to his girl either in all fairnes…

No shit I'm jaded. It's a good thing. You should be concerned that you are not. I have more wisdom and experience than you. Experience doesn't mean anything when you've given up on the world around you. Your self-proclaimed wisdom is subjective as well. You're justifying your hatred by calling yourself wise. But you are just a concern troll anyway. I hope your post gets swept out with the other rubbish. This is my point here. Suddenly I'm a troll.

While I disagree with the implementation of it, you have a good point.

The world of supplication; of compromising values; of "supporting eachother" even if its a bad idea; of.denying your want and needs as a sexual being; of sacrificing your self esteem and sense of self-worth to ensure smooth sailing with a woman: I see that world as far more manipulative, in more complicated and dangerous ways. You sound very jaded. I'm sorry you had to go through whatever made you that way. I will continue believing in that fake world you describe until it gives me a reason not …

I like your response, it's calm and level-headed instead of getting angry at me for not agreeing with you. It's in their nature and theyve been bought up in an 'all girls are princesses' society. This is the generalization that I'm referring to. Just because some took advantage of the manipulative powers society gave them doesn't mean that all deserve the treatment that SOME (not all) TRP members seem to advocate. (Another comment here referred to it as "Dark Triad."). I want it to be clear that…

Forgive my ignorance. This "Dark Triad" is the manipulation I was referring to? If so, it seems like more than 25% use it judging by the "Hot" TRP page right now.

You and many others directly stated that TRP isn't about tricks or manipulation. The links I posted, along with a few in the EMSK post contradict that. I'm not being obtuse by attempting to see if the entire subreddit condones those comments, or if the linked members were a few bad apples as previously stated. Edit: If I'm here to win an argument, it will be very difficult to do against an entire subreddit. I just wanted to better understand TRP. From what I've gathered, people keep talking to m…

Are you suggesting your sweet girl has never tried to influence you by acting or doing a certain thing or for that matter you yourself? I don't agree with your premise that this sub is about trying to trick anyone and by the way - does your girl wear makeup? that is tricking in the most basic form. Would you look at the link I posted where TRP members directly used the word "trick" and "manipulation" and tell me if you disagree with them? To me, this sub is about being aware of yourself and othe…

Except I made this post in order to have some questions answered. If you don't like that, don't comment on it. I'm not demonizing this sub, I just had some questions for them.

I'm not attempting to make you all out to be something you aren't. I asked a few questions, and wanted to have them answered. You aren't a victim just because many people disagree with the way you live.

Would you please read my reply where I directly linked TRP members using the word "trick" and "manipulate" and tell me if you disagree with them? Thanks!

Hello! Your response has probably been my favorite. I understand that some of the members may have come from a bad background where they were abused and manipulated by women. That's actually the point of my post here. I think many of these members have a few bad experiences, decide all women are like that, and make the whole situation into an "Us against Them" battle, when in reality, a relationship is a partnership. I made this post to attempt to understand where TRP members are coming from wit…

you cant just ask a women to suck youre dick, you have to make her want to suck your dick. Actually, you can ask. It's worked quite well for me. sample size = 1. c'mon son you mustve done some statistics in school to know better than to say this. The reason for posting that was for my follow up question of if you believe all women act the way you describe. Don't attempt to make me look stupid, just make your point. I believe they all try to do as much manipulation as they can get away with, its …

That's the key word though: "Tricked". That isn't something a healthy relationship should have.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
