You answered a challenge for concrete, sourced facts and you did it with no sources or concrete facts - and worse, with nothing in your words to suggest that you've researched facts from both sides of the fence in the name of intellectual honesty or rigor. Granted I know nothing about Singapore, but a few of her remarks ("when [men] become heads of their own families", "it's not going to be useful for me in the future") suggest that she's somewhat traditionally-minded when it comes to gender, and that she sees service as a male initiation ritual rather than a practical combat necessity.
