Would be a fair point, if it wasn't for the fact that men and women mate, thus the attractiveness of both depending on their parents' genes. If men were less attractive then women, then their offspring would get uglier than previous women on average.

I think "You hit like a girl" is a bad example. Girls are (on average) physically weaker than men so in this case, yes - femininity is indeed factually inferior to masculinity. The thing is that men and women (on average) have different strengths. For men it's brawn, competition & analysis while for women it's cooperation, social dynamics & nurturing. What I see is that women themselves see men's domains as superior to women's domains even though both are equally as important to a functioning so…

Probably because there is more variation in men's taste for women than there is in women's taste for men. This bigger spectrum of variation is seen in many male attributes, e.g. intelligence. I would rate that girl a 5, maybe on a good day 6 MAX. No way she is any higher in my opinion.

I will use pictures for facial attractiveness since that is the only thing you cannot sufficiently describe with words. Also, note that I am basing my rating on european people since that's where I come from. Average woman: Face: https://waypointrecoverycenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Stop-Making-Excuses-and-Take-Control-of-Your-Recovery.jpg Her face is not ugly, but it got nothing especially pretty going on. Her hair is .. ok.Her eyes are ok. Her nose is ok. Everything is ok and nothing i…

I think you'll have the most success if you are 7 inches above the average height of the girls you are dealing with, because according to a study women are most happy with a 7 inch height difference. So a 5'10 white guy trying to pull 5'4 white girls would probably do worse than (for example) a 5'7 indesian guy trying to pull 5'0 indonesian girls.

What I want: At least a 6/10 in the face. On the lower side of healthy BMI. Shorter than me. Intelligent, likes discussing various topics and being philosophical. Her sense of humour must align with mine. Must be competent, reliable and (somewhat) independent. If I can't trust her in life-or-death-situations then I don't see any future. Must be open-minded to experience new things and hobbies. Can't be too emotionally volatile. Her sex drive and preferences must align with mine. Must not be too …

I find your technique very interesting. And I am not judging. But I think there's a way of defeating you without starting a physical fight (since that would give you reason to hit back which most guys wouldn't risk if you really are as physically intimidating as you say). The other guy could just playfully punch the glass out of your hand, making it fall onto the ground, and then say something witty like "Man why you gotta waste a good beer like that?". With the lighter the guy could say "Damn b…

Yeah, there's still a lot of flirting especially at festivals / clubs that have a drug culture (underground, raves, etc).

Nope, I am not here to "gotcha" anybody. I was just curious because a false perception of reality might explain why many women don't take mens dating problems seriously.

Did you not read my post? This is not about whether it's unfair or not. It's just whether women have a somewhat accurate perception of the other sex. There's no malicious intent here.

I am a man, who is fortunately blessed with being naturally stoic and unemotional. But humans are social animals and thus emotions and empathy are an integral part of our species. In most cases they should be accepted and not shamed. However, there is a place and time for emotional expression. Wallowing in your sadness while in that moment something more important has to be done (professional task at your job, life-or-death situation, etc.) is not okay, this goes for men and women.

Are you sure you are sufficiently knowledgeable about drugs? Because cocaine really isn't that bad if taken in moderation. But yes, Heroin and Meth shouldn't be fucked around with.

Female strangers(such as a girl you just meet in at a bar or party I do get compliments occasionally about my clothes, hair, perfume and also about my looks. Male strangers Literally never happened. I don't even think I've ever been hit up by a gay guy. Female friends I don't have many female friends. But back when I had a few .. I rarely got compliments. But that was before I took care of myself. Male friends It happens, but mostly about things I've accomplished, like body shape, hair, fashion.…

Doesn't Japan also have some insane work culture where they work themselves to death? Yes, but it's worse in America. The average american works 137 hours per year more than the average japanese. Also, they actually get paid paternity leave, unlike americans.

But losing weight doesn't just increase your physical attractiveness, it also increases your "personality" attractiveness because a disciplined and determined person is of higher value than a lazy person.

I don't think most men would be mad if women were realistic about their expectations. For example, in the US, a 5'4'' / 163 cm woman shouldn't be complaining that a 5'9'' / 176 cm man is too short for her. Both are average (in respect to their sex) and there's still a 5'' / 13 cm height difference between them. A big minority of women on tinder writing "swipe left if you're below 6 feet" instead of "swipe left if you're below 5 feet 9 inches" signals to men that most women are unrealistic about …

I have read studies that say there is a correlation. Yeah but a high correlation coefficient (r-value) isn't the same as statistical significance (p-value). Something can appear to have a high correlation at first but fall apart when you start testing how likely you would have attained those same results randomly. Also, not trying to put your linked article down but I wouldn't use "menshealth.com" as my resource because it doesn't provide a link to the original study. Here is the original, if yo…

Yep, taller guys will tend to have bigger dicks. Sadly I have the inform your that this statement is incorrect. Studies, like this one for example, have found the following: Penile length demonstrated nonsignificant correlation with age, weight, height, waist circumference, span or testicular size. Height and penis length have a nonsignificant correlation ( P > 0.05 ). However, they also did find this: Penile length demonstrated positive significant correlation with index finger length, BMI and …

Sorry but due to your response I feel the need to quote another comment from above: Just how terrible at math are you? If I told you that 1 in 3 men die of starvation every year, would you conclude that 70% of men are having all-you-can-eat buffets in luxurious restaurants? Obviously it is an unproven assumption, that's also how I worded it. But it's way more logical to assume that the amount of sex men have goes up linearly or exponentially than to just assume a sudden jump between 0 times a ye…

I assume he is refering to this report by the CDC. On Page 9: In 2002 , 22% of young men and women aged 15–24 had never had any sexual contact with an other person, and in 2006–2008, those figures were 27% for males and 29% for females. So he is right, 27% of young men never had any sexual encounters in their life. Of those remaining 73% who did have at least one encounter, it's unlikely that most get regular sex. And to answer your next argument - yes, young women also have a very high rate of …

Because most women can't imagine that a body like this could be the result of steroids. They always imagine steroid users like this. But steroid use in young male adults has been rising in the last years. And those young men don't want to look huge, they just want to look good enough, but faster.

I never even think about this, ever. What is this some kind of weird fetish you have? I never think I respect this person or friend and therefore they should be attractive to women. You've never thought about one of your respectable friends who may be unsuccessful with women: "Damn, I wonder why that guy is single? He has clear goals in his life, he is determined, he helps other people.. what's going on here?". On the other hand, have you never heard about one of those lowlife murderers in priso…

I can't really relate to that. I knew a guy once who was extremely confident in himself. He always "knew what to do" and tried to call the shots. But every decision he made lead to a worse outcome for himself and others. And when you tried to correct him he instantly dismissed everything you said. Can't really say I respect such people.

I put that as a disclaimer because every time someone on this subreddit mentions "men with muscles" women always say "eww I'm not attracted to those weird 5 billion lbs 0% bodyfat steroid junkies!". Any man who wasn't previously overweight can achieve a noticeable V-taper by working out seriously for 1 to 2 years.

I'm not so sure about that. I constantly see men on the internet claiming that they felt "mislead about what women find attractive exactly". When I was in high school I had a friend who was extremely smiliar to me personality wise - but he was very tall and had a very square jaw. It didn't really occur to me at the time that these were the main reasons he got so much attention from girls. Probably because those weren't the things that I personally respected about him. And the personality traits …

Where did I say "respectable man" = "bad man"? Steroids make it so you have to do less work than a natural in order to achieve the same physique. Does that mean that steroid user work less hard than natural people? No! Most steroid users are very dedicated to the lifestyle and push their body more than any natural bodybuilder. But they are in the superphysiological realm. If a natural bodybuilder and a steroid user both tried to achieve their natural peak - the steroid user would have it easier.

I don't think most men really care about how another guy gets muscular either. Most men who are really into working out are at least vaguely aware how prevalent steroids are in Bodybuildling/sports/hollywood and don't give a shit. For the mainstream lots of people think guys like The Rock are natural and just really dedicated/lucky genetics, in reality it doesn't matter whether he used steroids or not regardless of audience gender as long as he doesn't explicitly say he used. About The Rock - do…

You are right, I forgot about humour. I'm not entirely sure whether humour is an innate ability or a learned skill but it certainly is important.

These two pictures are not a good example because of the inherent bias due to their clothes. Obviously I would instinctively respect a soldier more than just some nobody. If I talked to both of them in street clothes, I don't think I would automatically admire the first person. If you mean authoritarian respect due to me subconsciously assuming that the first guy has more testosterone and is therefore more aggressive, maybe - but that's not the kind of respect I'm talking about.

Are you sure they feel respect / admiration and not just ... envy? That's not the same. I'm envious of people who are born rich, doesn't mean I respect them.
