Struggling guys SHOULD go to bars/clubs/partiesI know people who love going to these places (bars and clubs etc), and yes they meet a lot of people. If you don’t like these places then this will not work for you. It’s often shocking to people who do like bars and clubs, but it’s a total energy vacuum if you don’t like it. I’m old enough to not really care if people like me or not anymore, and any convo I have is totally vapid and pointless. It doesn’t help that loud music doesn’t allow for deeper conversations. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/09/24 06:33 PM
I cant get the 80/20 Rule and "Hypergamy" theories out of my mind.First of all you need to remember that while you can see all data (generally speaking) on the internet, the extremes rise to the top. Yes, some women will leave their husbands at a whiff of a better option, but I would bet that most of the time that character flaw was apparent long before they got married and the guy ignored it. Also, some of these red pill types only mingle in circles of people who have low morals or standards in the first place. I have been in certain social clubs where the wo… | /r/ExRedPill | 01/12/23 05:28 PM
| – | Why do men harass women ?This is more a case of 1 in 1000 men harass 1000 women than it is the case that “men in general” harass women. They probably do it for a variety of psychological conditions that all come down to not respecting boundaries though. The exception being young men who can be a bit daft with women. I don’t mean actual assault, I mean the begging and “please like me back” behavior which is sad and unproductive, but it’s also not usual super threatening. I’ve also gotten that particular behavior from wom… | /r/ExRedPill | 29/11/23 04:55 PM |

JustpearlythingsOutside of her personality, I don’t think she is that intellectual. She just kind of repeats the same talking points over and over. You can see this in her interviews. | /r/ExRedPill | 28/11/23 07:36 PM
Have been consuming redpill content for over 6 years now.Red Pill content does talk about some evolutionary psychology (masculinity, having a path to produce stability financially etc) that is true and generally useful, BUT it’s not unique to redpill content. Also the redpill adjacent PUA advice about don’t be needy or a “nice guy”(niceness is transactional) in dating and relationships is also useful. The rest of it usually creates too much of an adversarial relationship with women that isn’t healthy. Yes there are problems in the world of dating, but… | /r/ExRedPill | 27/11/23 02:37 AM
I’m reading a book called men who hate women from incels to pickup artists the truth about extreme misogyny and how it affects us all by Laura bates.I read a lot of PUA books at one stage of my life and Mark Manson’s Models slipped in their. I would say it’s not really PUA advice at all (not saying you think it is), it mostly just points out all the kind of valid and healthy stuff from PUA and removes the games and other nonsense. I’m way happier dating according to that general framework and meet way better people too. The other people you list are great too. I would say some of the content is so refreshing and honest that it’s shocking to … | /r/ExRedPill | 10/11/23 03:03 AM
What advice would you give a 36 year old incel?Okay, you mentioned earlier that you grew up around a lot of women and you have an easier time making female friends. I (34m) had this problem as an adult too, since I grew up in a similar situation. My advice would be to, number one, learn how guys talk to each other vs how women talk to each other. Go listen to some comedy podcasts with all dudes or podcasts with old shock jocks just talking about random things with each other. It’s not really the content that matters as much as the way men co… | /r/ExRedPill | 09/11/23 10:21 PM
Do men have friendships with women ?First of all, we have to define what friendship actually means. I have female acquaintances in my social circles, but these are not people I would ever say grab coffee with and talk about life. That is reserved for friends. I (34m) am not friends with women on a deeper level because at some point one person or the other almost always decides they want more. I don’t believe in “friends first” I believe in asking a woman out on an actual date if I am interested. On the other hand many women I’ve t… | /r/ExRedPill | 06/11/23 05:13 AM
What was your experience as a red pilled?Oh, I get it. I guess what I mean by feelings is actually letting someone know I’m interested in them (not in an overbearing and weird way) and that I want to see where things go rather than play the game of “who can care the least,” which red pill content tends to teach. Yes, I will likely get hurt more often, but that’s that’s okay. | /r/ExRedPill | 09/10/23 02:29 PM
What was your experience as a red pilled?I also stumbled onto some “Red Pill light” stuff after not having dated much for a while and needing some advice. Some of the advice is useful, such as not being needy and working on self improvement. Also some of the evolutionary psychology components are very true. The problem was that it taught me to also be really avoidant, to juggle multiple women until one really committed (which was really an issue of not wanting to deal with the feeling of rejection if something didn’t work out), and tha… | /r/ExRedPill | 08/10/23 09:01 PM
Dated a red pill guy“Training” is strange wording, but communicating what is important to us in a relationship is not a bad thing as long as it is reasonable. We shouldn’t expect our partners to read our mind. That being said, if it’s reasonable and your partner isn’t willing to adjust, then maybe you just weren’t compatible. | /r/ExRedPill | 08/10/23 01:06 AM
How to help him work out / lose weight without nagging?Alcohol is a big one, I don’t drink much so it never comes to mind for me (two beers once a month isn’t sabotaging my diet) but a lot of people consume probably a half a pound of fat equivalent per week in alcohol if not more. | /r/RedPillWomen | 18/05/22 06:14 PM
How to help him work out / lose weight without nagging?I’m a dude, and this is just my experience based on what my mindset has been and what works for me that I had to figure out via trial and error over time. Historically I’ve always been an athlete since High School. I was a rower all the way through college, did a handful of martial arts, and lifted weights on the regular. I could eat pretty much anything I wanted and stay relatively lean and fit. Inevitably when I started working, I was not able to keep working out ~2.5 hours a day like an athle… | /r/RedPillWomen | 18/05/22 05:59 PM
