For real sometimes I think about what retirement would look like for me and I realize I would probably just try to start businesses with whatever money I had. I’ve been really questioning being an entrepreneur long-term but this guys comment is an eye opener about what I really want from life

that’s... a pretty stupid way to look at it. I can’t possibly remember how many books I’ve read in my life and I definitely have a favourite book.

Kind of worried I might end up competing with tech freelancers from Europe/Asia that will charge significantly less than me. But I’m really not familiar with the industry at all so I don’t really know what to expect. There’s definitely guys on fiverr charging like $50 for a website lol

sorry, maybe I should have been clearer. I’m not looking to get a job with 2 weeks of experience lol. i did it to get an intro to coding. I’m just wondering if it’s worth pursuing it in my situation. I’m extremely hesitant to invest massive amounts of time into something that may not pan out at all. So I’m asking to see if anyone has any ideas...

Men are bad for the economy cause they try to save their money up but the investment potential of a single average man is a drop in the bucket compared to the investment potential of a multi-millionaire/billionaire. Women are great for the economy cause they blow that shit like there’s no tomorrow. Moreover, they encourage men to be better consumers too by encouraging them to buy luxury items/status symbols.

Because believing in it keeps men going to work everyday and producing value for the country, society, women etc. If men feel disenfranchised from women they stop working as hard. Worse still they may turn on the system and those that maintain it (see: history of polygamy in Utah). For example, US men intentionally dropping out of the workforce has been worrying economists for the past few years even if the mainstream media doesn’t want to talk about it. The blue pill keeps men in line and worki…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
