It's tongue in cheek. Clumsy yes. Misandrous, no.

I think men only clubs where men are encouraged to do something together, such as community help or gardening or sports. We should encourage these explicitly for men to enjoy together. We have to stop demonising "men only" things. Most women understand men hang with men and women with women. Just some weirdos have a problem with it. Those are the people that need to be addressed

Is that a recent skit? I feel like his perspectives might have changed especially since biden

Hi I asked it something like this: could you outline a book or essay that affirms the brilliance of the male mind—something my son and others could benefit from. Do not apologise or try to soften masculinity. Just explain why it is great

I think it will continue until men are properly represented and we can safely speak about men's matters in public and in work. Though I think there is a change happening. My male friend who traditionally classed themselves as feminist are how seeing how much discrimination they face and are realising women don't get the same treatment. I think if enough of us organise we could push it into the limelight

I can't describe how happy it makes me to read this. We should post more positive news like this! Keep standing up for yourselves, lads. You matter

I think so too. He really sent a message that the press and feminists peddling misandry were not supported by the majority. Vance gave his speech saying he welcomes masculine values of competition and strength and that men and boys should feel comfortable and proud. That the administration should support these values more. Companies are cancelling DEI. People are somewhat more confident to speak against these things too. It's getting better. Though there is far to go. Hopefully we see their admi…

I do. But have to do it carefully else you get called names. "Men supporting men" in say a work setting would get you in trouble. But in my personal life I often remind my friends we are men and should support each other

Yes of trying to seduce her at work. I was her boss. She made up a whole story of me trying it on after the Xmas party. It was totally false. Used to make junior staff think she was close to me so they couldn't complain to me about her. A gross, lying woman. Ultimately she got found out and fired

I agree with you. Dei is synonymous with misandry at this point. Also JD Vance gave a speech about his message to men - that we should not feel bad about being men, that wanting to grab a beer with friends is ok, that we are valued and that competition is good. It was lovely to hear that. We must celebrate the positives chaps!

We care about each other. Many of my male friends are noticing the importance of that and the hegemony of society now. It's just the mainstream powerful groups that haven't yet shifted, trying to ignore the fact that we are not valued as men, and finding other reasons. But you can see it in the data. We are voting for more right wing parties because they don't malign men. We are becoming more active on socials. There's a growing number of younger politicians who are aware. Companies are dumping …

I agree with this. I think they are starting to realise that the misandrous attitude of "men will be fine" and they're crybabies if not, is going away. Too many of us feel this way. I see some of my male friends, who are successful, having enough of openly misandrous policies at work (eg hiring discrimination), or worrying about outcomes for their boys (eg education supporting only girls) The participation rate amongst young men has fallen below that of women for the first time EVER. That's bad …
