This poster on the wall of my classroom. You might be in for a shock if there is a second referendum, the polls have it quite close. I’d be happy either way. I said on the day of the result that it would be re-run until they got the answer they wanted, and I love a chance to say “I told you so.” The Lib Dem’s record on men’s rights ain’t great. They’re very supportive of the Istanbul convention and female offender strategy. | /r/MensRights | 23/09/19 09:55 PM
Why Is Joe Rogan So Popular? -- "He understands men in America better than most people do. The rest of the country should start paying attention." [United States of America]The last paragraph is pretty enlightening: It might unsettle some of us that we must rely on his fans to separate the good stuff from the bad, but that’s the hard work of being a responsible adult in the modern era—knowing what you should consume and what you shouldn’t. There just seems to be an anti-liberal, authoritarian instinct the guy is fighting against. It’s like he can’t trust people to come up with the same “correct” opinions that he has formed and this is causing discomfort because PEO… | /r/MensRights | 23/08/19 08:08 AM

Do hit pieces by feminists to take away a man's personal space still have a place in 2019?They really should learn the difference between ‘affect’ and ‘effect’ before publishing their nonsense. | /r/MensRights | 12/06/19 06:55 PM
Men apologising for their own existing... Advice?Yes, but you can drive yourself mad wanting to argue people out of delusions/ideologies and see direct changes right before your eyes. In that metaphor, the “chips in the foundations” are analogous to the “few snowflakes”. | /r/MensRights | 26/04/19 02:26 PM
Men apologising for their own existing... Advice?I once spent a weekend at Lund university, and it was a troubling experience. It was during an election and it was so odd watching the young men and seeing how they seemed to have no opinion to offer on anything. It was like it was not their place to have an opinion on anything. You already did a lot just by telling them that they’re allowed to have an opinion. That will stick with them. Gender/race switching like you did is a really good approach. All you can do is put a few cracks in the found… | /r/MensRights | 26/04/19 08:33 AM
Help me. Abused by GF. Coming out after 5 yearsWhy would someone treat me like this?! It sounds a lot like BPD, so it’s really nothing to do with you and everything to do with her. There are thousands of threads online about people going out with BPD sufferers, all of them end with being a lot happier once you’re out of it! Can suck for years though, but you feel great once you start getting back to normal. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/19 04:23 AM
Help me. Abused by GF. Coming out after 5 yearsWhen the times are good, they are so great. I feel like she understands me better than anyone on the planet. I feel like we’re soulmates often. This is what makes this so ridiculously hard. This might be a result of “splitting”. Does it often seem like you are treated like the most amazing person in the world and then like the biggest piece of shit with little time spent in between? That’s pretty classic narcissistic / borderline behaviour that makes the good times seem really really good. It’s … | /r/MensRights | 08/04/19 06:24 PM
Help me. Abused by GF. Coming out after 5 yearsYou shouldn’t feel foolish. Men are not taught at school to look out for this. The only time men realise men get abused is when they’re getting abused. Women know there are bad men to watch out for, and even they get caught out by it too often. You’ve been learning on the job and realised before you were too deep. Takes a lot of people a lot longer. I spoke to a gp/family med once about male victims of abuse and he just said “doesn’t happen”. After that conversation he started asking the “are yo… | /r/MensRights | 08/04/19 06:17 PM
Help me. Abused by GF. Coming out after 5 yearsOh mate, I went through a longer list than that with someone at work and they thought I was some kind of magician. BPD is super predictable. It’s pernicious because it plays off your masculinity. You’ll be missing her for a long time. The highs of the relationship are so high and emotional that you become addicted to it and normal relationships seem emotionless, but things improve over time. That’s why I’d say see a therapist as soon as you can afford it. | /r/MensRights | 08/04/19 11:42 AM
Help me. Abused by GF. Coming out after 5 yearsSounds a lot like she has borderline personality disorder. You’re not weak, I imagine you felt like a protector for quite a while before realising you had sacrificed yourself for her well being. Unfortunately, there really isn’t an end to how much she will take, as thousands upon thousands upon men are finding out all the time. Your situation is way more common than people will have you think, so don’t beat yourself up about it. It completely plays off your masculinity and need to protect the vu… | /r/MensRights | 08/04/19 05:37 AM
