I met my husband at 27 even though I’m extremely shy and a complete shut-in. Keep working on your goals

Here are some great books I’ve collected over the years! Femininity: Fascinating Womanhood, How to Be Lovely (The Audrey Hepburn Way of Life) Marriage: The Empowered Wife, For Women Only, The 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work Homemaking: Home Comforts (The Art & Science of Keeping House), How to Keep House While Drowing, The Little Book of Hygge

Continue being a good woman to him and work on your self-esteem. I recommend the book “6 Pillars of Self-Esteem” by Nathaniel Brandon or books by David D. Burns.

This is true in my experience!! My fiancé is the only guy I’ve been with that doesn’t watch it and he wants me every day and constantly calls me beautiful. I don’t feel any insecurity with him

I wonder how I can navigate this in my relationship. My hubby earns more than me but he has a lot of debt payments, a mortgage, and other bills. I am very thrifty (and happy this way) and have a ton of extra money after each paycheck. I want to help with bills and stuff so I’ve been sending him all my extra cash but I think it’s making him feel like less of a man.

I was with a guy for 4 years. Our relationship was great on paper but he never saw me as the one he wanted to marry. I could sense that and broke up with him eventually. I’m now with the man of my dreams who is 100% committed to me. Even though I was comfortable with the first guy, it was so worth it to go out of my comfort zone to find someone perfect for me and who views me the same way.

Same here. I’ve tried the RPW approach in several of my relationships. If he’s a LVM, he’ll take advantage and you’ll become resentful. I’m with a HVM man now and he treats me like a queen. So I treat him just as well.

I’ve loved this stew recipe for many years. You can add other things if you like. I like to add mushrooms, sometimes broccoli. It smells sooo good while it’s cooking and is full of flavor. I like to serve on rice :) https://www.budgetbytes.com/slow-cooker-rosemary-garlic-beef-stew-slow-cooker/

This year I bought presents for his mom and sister and nephew because they always give us presents but he can’t be bothered. I left his grandmother’s gift up to him and told him so because I couldn’t go to her Christmas gathering. Then the day of, he says to me: “We forgot to get grandma something!” And I’m like WE didn’t forget anything; it’s you who forgot. I’m tired of managing everything.

I’m also like this. I’m a quiet person by nature so when I DO talk, it’s usually because something bothers me enough to complain. So I was wondering “how can I say more neutral or positive things?” And I still haven’t figured that out because I’m bad at being social and all I can think of is commenting on the weather or a tv show lol :p But I did start reading more books on positivity and stoicism and it has shifted me to at least think more positively so I’m less likely to say random negative c…

Find a recipe on Allrecipes and just follow the steps. Sometimes the recipe has a video you can follow. Those are helpful in case you don’t know how to do something. Before cooking, glance over the steps. If you don’t know how to do something (ex. Chop cabbage, cook chicken, etc,) look it up on YouTube.

He’s so addicted to porn that he’s desensitized to sex. If you keep letting him watch it while you have sex, eventually he’ll NEED the porn to get off with you. I wouldn’t recommend continuing that practice unless you really don’t mind

I think it’s because women have a vision of the perfect life and they want to achieve that. They want the perfect husband, home, children, etc. And if they notice something’s flaws, they want to change it. I think one reason women do this is because they’re unhappy or feel incomplete and they think if they can perfect things in their life they will be happy (speaking from my own experience here). Seeing other people’s “perfect” lives on social media constantly doesn’t help either because women c…

I wouldn’t call it “love-bombing” but he is very enthusiastic about messaging you and is happy to be getting positive responses. At least he’s putting effort into it. The “wet myself” and initial porn comment is weird imo…(I personally wouldn’t like that at all) But if you’re enjoying the conversation, nothing wrong with keeping it going. Listen to your gut!

I have the same problem. Though I’m the breadwinner in my relationship I still long for a more RP dynamic. But when I put the effort in to do the RP stuff like cleaning and looking pretty and it doesn’t get noticed it’s like “man, I’m doing all this work for nothing” and give up lol.

Even though he no longer says “why can’t you look like her” he still sends those pictures because he’s thinking it, and is hoping to indirectly influence you to be more like them. Do you know the subreddit r/instagramreality? Maybe you should send him some pics from there so he understands how edited all of those Instagram photos are. Also, he married you for you; not because you’re an Instagram model! Maybe tell him how it makes you feel and that it hurts your feelings.

There’s no way to choose where the fat comes off of your body. Where fat is stored is (mostly) genetic. So if you’re running on the treadmill, there’s no guarantee that the fat is going to come off your legs specifically. The best thing to do if you want to lose fat is overall weight loss. I also recommend this article, it has great advice on which exercises build glutes but not thighs. https://www.t-nation.com/training/dispelling-the-glute-myth

It would hurt his self-esteem if you told him you’ve been attracted to other people but not him, so you probably shouldn’t mention it. Are you on medication/birth control? Some of those can kill your sex drive.

I never really “taught” myself to cook. Recipes are usually so easy to follow. So I just follow the recipe exactly and the food turns out good. I’d suggest think of a simple meal that you enjoy and google the recipe. Read through it beforehand and google anything you don’t understand (for example: how to mince garlic, how to cook ground beef, etc.). Allrecipes has a lot of good recipes and the popular ones usually have a video to follow along.

While hormonal birth control didn’t affect my mood, I did need to stop taking it due to hypertension. Now we only use condoms and I feel as if our sex life has gotten worse because my SO hates wearing a condom and would rather not have sex at all (lol). Which cycle tracking app do you use and how long have you used it? I may need to look into something like that.
/r/RedPillWomen28/11/18 07:18 PM

When my SO begins to tell me something I already know, I usually try not to say "I know" because he feels important when I listen to him and give my full attention. However, it also depends on the situation! If it's something about himself you already know it might be more flattering to say "I remember you telling me that" than "Yes I know."

It doesn't sound like he's open to work on your relationship if he dismisses all of your ideas like that...It kind of sounds like he's trying to "check out" of the relationship. I'm not good with advice though, so hopefully someone else has some good advice for you. Good luck

A friend convinced me last week to donate plasma. If you have a center near you, it's a good option. The center here lets you go twice a week and earn from a range of 25-60 dollars for every donation. I was scared my first time, but it only hurt for a second and then I could just casually look at my phone for 45 minutes. I really recommend it!

I am ISFJ and my SO is ENFP. We do have a hard time understanding where the other is coming from a lot, but we're learning with time. It's hard to establish relationships for me because I'm shy and a little boring, which is what my type is known for, haha.

My partner and I are both atheist. I've always held traditional values because my mom did in her marriage. She stayed home and kept her family happy. I wouldn't say my lack of religion helps or hinders anything because RP values are a way of life in themselves.

I'm a lot like you. I spent my free time on a computer from age 8 to graduation and never had any friends lol. Once I got to college a lot changed though. I met people in anime club and the cafeteria. This helped to develop my social skills but I admit they're still lacking. College is good because you're forced to do projects with others or you fail. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to talk and the more you do, the better it gets. I recommend going out in public. Even if you bring a la…

When I moved in with my boyfriend, I brought my colorful shower curtain and asked if I could put it in the back bedroom. He surprisingly told me to switch his blue one in the front with my colorful curtain because he likes colorful things. For the kitchen/living room area, we're trying to go for a brown and earthy theme. He is into the zen/buddhism things and I like that most of the decorations and objects he collects are brown, so I can match them with other brown items.

I'm in a similar situation to yours. My boyfriend told me before we got together that he didn't really like sex. I am a skinny and attractive woman, but it is rare that he gets in the mood for more than a quickie if that. Since we're a playful couple, I offer long back rubs on days that we have sex. He enjoys back rubs so he's more willing to make a trade. This might sound weird but it keeps us both content.
