I didnt think for even a second the guy was trans and i also didnt think he was making fun of trans people. What he is however doing is playing DIRECTLY into the false narrative that trans people are faking being trans for their own gain. This narrative has been going on for a long time and is the main justification people use for doing things like banning us from bathrooms. Congrats to this guy for finding a loophole, but that loop hole is him literally becoming anti-trans conservative propagan…

Yeah im sure the cis people who are abusing legal resources for trans people are definitely gonna be educated enough on trans rights to explain to people why you shouldnt abuse legal and medical resources that werent for you. /s

No, saying you support trans people while literally becoming a personification of conservative propaganda is not a compromise. What it is, is you patting yourself on the back for not hatecriming someone. Just because you didnt fucking murder someone doesnt mean you did a good thing, you are literally advocating for people to abuse legal resources that trans people have.

Oh my god you are so fucking obtuse. Im 10000% sure you know exactly what you are doing. If you dont know what you are doing than i cant believe ive met someone who has so few cells in their brain.

Believe me, thats were 99% of my anger is directed. But i think we could probably both agree that if someone hurts you, and another guy comes along and spits on you, its still reasonable to be mad at both of them. Sure, the one guy hurt you much worse, but the other guy spit on you. 99% of me is mad at the conservatives who are fighting tooth and nail to remove my ability to receive the healthcare i need to survive. That 99% of me really hates them. But im still allowed to be mad at the 1% who p…

Women do not have the right to bodily autonomy and that is written in law. But if we were talking defacto rights then theres a lot more. Things such as hiring discrimination, unequal pay, unequal division of labor, and lots of women still get zero credit for things they are entirely responsible for. But the thing thats funniest to me about this comment is the fact that i never brought up womens rights. I never claimed women have nore or less rights than men. I didnt even imply it, infact i belie…

"I'm not suggesting anyone become trans or not" "I can't help but think about the possibility of suggesting that my son legally change his sex shortly before his 18th birthday to have the right to get out of military service" These 2 quotes dont go too well togwther buddy. All im saying is that if i had to harm a minority to gain something i just wouldnt do it. I am not and never will be willing to harm a minorities fight for rights by delegitimizing their cause and playing into misinformation a…

I mean... if we are being honest, it really isnt anyone changing genders to game the system. Nobody actually goes through with it. lots of people say they are going to do it, but nobody ever does shit. And if you think zero women have claimed they were going to change gender for benefit, you are just wrong. Maybe men do this lying bullshit where they fake it more often than women, but maybe women just dont think pretending to be trans is gonna fix anything.... because it isnt gonna fix anything.…

Trans women still can get drafted. And STOP SUGGESTING PEOPLE BECOME TRANS FOR SELF GAIN!!! IT. IS. HARMFUL.

Oof cant wait for the transphobes to use this one against us. Idk what about this they are gonna be mad at, but I KNOW the transphobes are gonna point at this shit and go "see thats why you dont deserve rights, you understand now dont you?" Congrats to the guy but people need to stop pretending to be trans to get what yall want. It just furthers the false narrative that trans people are transitioning to gain something or trick the system. The "they are tricking us" narrative is garbage and super…

I dont really visit their sub anymore, but every time ive been invalidated by someone else who claims to be trans, its almost always someone who frequents that sub. It happened a LOT when i first came out. People who just came out are usually pretty happy to finally get to be themselves. Ive seen lots of them attack newly out people for being happy because in their mind being trans is a struggle 100% of the time. Yeah, they have some valid concerns, but the way they adress those concerns is by l…

But they lack nuance. If you dont have enough dysphoria you arent trans to them. If you dont have dysphoria over a specific characteristic you arent trans to them. They are super judgey, especially when it comes to trans people who dont pass. They assume people who dont pass just dont care how they look. In reality people who dont pass maybe cant afford treatment, maybe they arent ready yet. There are so many factors that they dont consider before labeling someone not trans.

I mean, its kinda like "non-nobel prize winner" in the sense that its true and only used in a very specific context. 99.99٪ of the time men are just men and women are just women, but there are times when we need to discuss differences between cis and trans experiences. Just like if we were talking about nobel prize winners vs non nobel prize winners we would differentiate. Of course if someone doesnt want to be called cis, i wont call them that, but i cant help that its an adjective that accurat…

While those people do exist, truscum is not a sub of trans people calling out that kind of person. Its a sub of people arbitrarily deciding who deserves trans status and who doesn't. They really just exist to invalidate trans people who dont fit their idea of trans.

"Do you believe trans women are women?" "No." Am I missing something? They very clearly stated they are a terf. The core belief of terfs is that we aren't real women.

I'd assume the "that" they are referring to is them saying trans women aren't women. There is room for nuanced discussion of these issues, as long as the arguments are not based on assumptions and transphobia.

Yeah I saw that. These people are so busy labeling trans women as predators that they forget that trans men exist. Either they have to let us women into the women's restrooms. Or they have to let cis passing trans men in. And some how they think letting trans women in is more uncomfortable than full on bearded men.

You lack an understanding of what it is to be trans. I'll answer questions if you are going to be respectful (which it seems like you are)

A lot of the suicide rate I think, can be blamed on transphobia. Obviously access to Healthcare plays a big role. But the suicide rate drops very significantly when family is accepting. If society as a whole was accepting, the suicide rate would go way down.

So you want muscley, bearded, low voiced trans men to be in women's bathrooms?

Nope, I am as trans as I am and caring about men's issues doesn't change that. But it can feel like caring about men's issues makes people think I don't care about women's issues even though I am a woman.

Yes. I didn't feel it when I was living as a man. Because at least then I knew I was doing the right thing and fighting for my own issues. Now that I've started transitioning, I still know it's right but they don't feel like my issues anymore. And my focus on men's issues feels like it comes across as not caring about women's issues. Of course I know it's okay for me to care about men's issues and it's still most of my gender issue consumption but it just feels kinda weird

I don't think it's necessary that we change the term to "penis havers" but as a non male penis haver I would appreciate it. But if you don't like it, don't use it.

As someone who used to live as a man and now a lesbian, literally any way a woman could make a first move. Men tend to be starved for affection and attention. Approach them, start a conversation, ask for their number, maybe tell some jokes. Just interact with them, chances are you won't scare them off.

Obviously we don't and aren't going to agree. All I'd like to say to you is be careful what you say. A LOT of what you say is very very close to some quite transphobic stuff. Also if you don't know about something don't speak on it. Im talking about the whole culture of dishonesty thing. You have no way of knowing if it's going away and to assume it usually doesn't or often doesn't when most trans people says it does is dumb. Speak from facts or anecdotes but don't make shit up.

"When else does a man get an erection, besides random ones during puberty, driving down a bumpy road, or being sexually stimulated by somebody else?" When? When they aren't a man. When they are intensely happy about their appearance for maybe the first time ever. Excitement can cause erections. And it's very exciting seeing yourself for the first time. "It is if there is a sexual component to it." Okay so erections are always sexual? So male rape victims getting hard? That's because they were ar…

"More often than not, the answer is that it is common and not remotely sexual in nature. Only one of those things is true." But how would you know though! YOU YES YOU SPECIFICALLY DONT. Besides yourself you have absolutely zero clue whether it's sexual in nature. It is normal to accidentally pop a boner when you are happy with the way you look for the first time! It happens. But you know what? It goes away as you get used to it. Have you ever actually read one of those dime a dozen posts? So so …

The selective service still means that cis men and trans women cannot receive government assistance in any form without signing their life away. The likelihood of having a draft is next to none. but If I'm not allowed to get government aid without signing up, then either we get rid of it or also apply it to cis women and trans men.
