We have 50/50 custody.. we switch every other week.. so I do the bachelor thing for one week, then do the dad thing, repeat. It works for me.. I initiated the divorce and sold her on the idea... I pay alimony for 4 years.. and child support.. plus we spoilt 1/2 the house money when sold.. 80k each.. I just appealed to her greed... I did divorced raped a bit.. but not too bad.. alimony ends in 2 years and I kept all my retirement.. I'll never do that again tho..

I had the kid at 37.. I was bachelor before that..100% worth it, for me... being a dad isn't for everybody tho.

Existential nihilism is a bitch. How I deal with it is through altruism. So, I have a podcast where I help people, and I run a Meetup group that helps people. Just improving self all the time is good, but there is a selfishness in it the leads to emptiness (in my opinion). Find a purpose that makes you get out yourself and make difference. You'll feel a ton better. And you don't need religion to do it. I'm an atheist and I have tons of purpose. I also think chasing women around constantly is vap…

wtf? I make 160k as a software developer.. and I'm lazy as fuck. LOL! I'm literally sitting here, with a big ass beer belly, drinking a Laganitas IPA, thinking...damn, this dude inspires me.. then I see all this hate.. Dude, learn how to program software... the money flows.. making money isn't shit.. it's the discipline to meditate, hit them gym, invest, deny self, that is hard... the guy made good points IMO.

Wow...you nailed it. 100% correct. Former nice guy here. I had no idea how the world really worked. I was raised hard core Christian and was taught not to lust, turn the other cheek, the meek shall inherit the earth, consider others better than yourself, money is the root of evil, pre marital sex is sinful, etc.... basically, be a beta bitch ass chump for Jesus. Now I'm an atheist... everything I thought was true was actually 180 degrees from reality. I was a victim of other people's bad paradig…

Interesting. I love being a father. My daughter is 9 and is one the funniest, coolest people I know. The marriage and the wife was a ridiculous social trap. Marriage is a cage, and I'm so glad I'm free. I have 50% custody where my daughter is with me every other week. So, every other week I live the bachelor lifestyle, and then the next week, I get to hang out with my kid. Being a father is great, in my opinion, but it does take money. I happen to be in position where I can pay alimony and child…

To clarify, I'm not talking about "monk mode" where a guy might go celibate for a while. But years of prolonged celibacy is emasculating, which is the opposite of alpha behavior.

Really? Voluntary celibacy is beta. See: priests and purity movement adherents. There might be minor exceptions, but overall, beta as fuck. I can't believe I have to explain this to you...

Bullshit. If you actually follow it, you will be beta. For example, sex outside of marriage is a sin (fornication), so true believers will not fuck prior to marriage. Not fucking is beta. Religion is a mental cage, if you actually follow it and not live hypocritical life.

Wow... this was me a couple years ago. Actually, when I met my (now ex) wife, she was a ballroom dancer, ran 5ks, and was very attractive. After we got married, she stopped doing all that and started letting herself go. She became obese, got lazy, stopped wearing makeup, and the sex stopped. I got all the same bullshit advice: go to counseling, don't bring up the weight, etc. I hung in there for 9 years and then got the fuck out. I have to pay alimony for a few years now, but freedom isn't free.…

Shit dude.. I'm 46 and just waking up from my wasted beta life. Damn, 24 ain't nothing man.. You're good. Just go into monk mode, lift, do your thang, don't give any fucks, and the bitches will come.. Don't worry man, you're just trippin. You have so much time left, but don't waste any more of it!! So true. I had a similar experience. My dad was beta and never around. He worked long hours, so my mom basically molded me into a beta. Read the book "No Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert Glover. He explains this phenomenon perfectly.

Damn dude. Good on you for reaching out. TRP is your way out, but shit don't change overnight. Relax... Next steps: 1) monk mode 2) read The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi... http://www.amazon.com/The-Rational-Male-Rollo-Tomassi/dp/1492777862 That book will change your fucking life. ...and watch TRP YouTube vids. You'll be good man, give yourself some time, but follow the the TRP way, and get that book!!

You clocked another sale my friend! I just bought a copy from Audible.com. I only discovered TRP concepts about 8 months ago and my SMV has has already increased--not massively (yet), but enough to realize you guys are on point. Thanks for writing this and sharing your wisdom. As a lifelong beta, I appreciate your rational approach to these topics.

Epic post man... All great questions. I'm new to TRP, but I am getting divorced at 45 because I had no idea what the hell I was doing pre-TRP. I don't have any advice, but I am interested in the answers to your completely rational questions. One thing I can add is that I did experience a lot of the things TRP predicts. Pre marriage, we had tons of sex, she was a dancer, ran 5ks all the time, etc. post marriage, that all stopped, massive weight gain, etc. I was beta as fuck back then. Now, I'm ge…
