He’s not a pastor per se, but reading Dalrock is a good place to start.

All Christians are called to follow the great commission, so you will need to further define your mission. Are you part of a church that is biblically based and investing in its members? Do you need to grow in holiness in specific ways? It sounds like you need to witness to your non believing friends or possibly leave them if they’re dragging you down.

Move to a low cost of living area. There - I just got you a pay raise of 35-50%.

Hold on to it. Wait till the baby is born and GIVE THIS CHILD TO AN ADOPTION AGENCY. Don’t put him/her through this hell. Pay her money if you have to. Your desire to save your child is great and your payments an admirable act. Good for you.

Tell her about adoption. Your child will grow up in a loving home with two parents and a stable future. There are tens of thousands of Christian couples who will give a loving home for your child. Do whatever you can to save the baby.

It’s good to desire a pure wife but your post, as one comment or has said, comes across as robotic. Keep reading the sidebar and learn social skills, like not asking right up front if a woman is a virgin. You will find out and you can gently cancel any future dates with a girl if she has been sexually promiscuous in the past. This social element is critical for attraction as people who struggle socially are unattractive. Good news is you can change that! Also, spooning isn’t losing your virginit…

This individual is spamming Christian subs and has been doing so for a while under a different ruse each week. He is accepting donations, if you’d like to part with some off your money.

Your view of scripture is outside of what would be considered correct for this sub. We hold that scripture is inspired and relevant to the current time.

This is awful. It’s worth repeating: Sex = married relationship activity This will prevent and solve many problems.

How much have you focused on frame? Almost all of your issues seem to be frame issues. For example, start small. Not being able to travel for work because your wife thinks you’ll cheat is giving in to her (distorted and insane) frame. If you can calmly tell her that it’s normal for people to travel and that you need to for work you will make her upset, sure. But reassure her and offer her psychological help if necessary. Talk to a therapist yourself. Then go and travel. Rinse and repeat until ot…

It’s a two way street. You must be someone she wants to submit to, but if submission came naturally then there would be no need for the Bible to mention it. Some women follow this more closely than others and some women will fail in this regard. If you’re doing the right things on your end it will be easier for her. My day to day life is great though. We rarely argue, and when we do it’s almost always respectful. No marriage can ever be perfect but there is a good reason that God commands this.

You can also find a church, and read Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life if you need some more practical help. The rule is to not lose sight of salvation by faith but focus on your works. Judge your actions and your works strictly and focus on them until those around you see the difference. It will take weeks, ye…

Well, there are risks associated with driving to work, joining the military, eating at a restaurant, and and getting your wisdom teeth removed. Risk is involved in everything. The statistics are also for all women and we should look at demographics individually to get an accurate reading - just to give an example, Asian women with a college degree have a divorce rate in the low single digits (1-2%), not saying that Asians are better, or others worse, but certain demographics are more likely to d…

The true alternative - that we all need to control lust and sexual drive, is a much more difficult message to preach. To paraphrase the author of Hebrews, it is better to suffer than to sin, so there is your answer. It’s a tragic situation but it happens.

We can do our best to follow Gods word and commands but the problem is much bigger than we are. Our command is to preach the gospel and live a godly life. We can be politically and socially active, competent in our chosen field, and raise a godly family. Don’t think you have to set out to change the world and others - do the right thing and the church will change.

I’d say so. The reason is that this isn’t intrinsic to Christianity - its driven by the culture and other churches in other parts of the world don’t suffer from this malaise.
/r/RPChristians16/09/20 01:12 AM

Short generalized answer is yes, but that’s because the gospel has always been counter cultural - and our culture says one thing and disagreeing with that makes you unpopular. Remember though, you are also the church and you have control over which believers you associate with.

Among religious women it’s perfectly reasonable as I know multiple men who have done so. Not all, for sure, but Poland/Ukraine/Romania, for all their flaws, still remain somewhat conservative compared to Western Europe.

Marry a girl 18-23 from Eastern Europe, Asia, or South America. The age difference is no problem for them, and for you, since it’s ok to marry younger women.

We can’t really advise for people who are not Christians and who don’t intend on becoming one. The best thing is to simply fight through your doubts and become Christian.

Look for women from more conservative cultures. Despite massive westernization many women still uphold traditional values. This can include Americans and others who have grown up in Christian homes. Also, look for women who respond to your frame. If you are the strongest pull in your wife’s mental world, you can counteract the forces of TV and social media.

Good question - Egalitarianism and RP do not mix - one of our core tenants as Christians is that a man must lead a marriage and RP predicts that a women both expects this and enjoys this. Women who don’t will likely try to control a marriage and there simply cannot be two equal leaders.

I’m surprised that “prick” and “dildo” are acceptable where you are from, but I would be wrong if I didn’t challenge you on this matter- In Colossians 3 and Ephesians 5, the “obscene” speech is sexual. No commentator, pastor, or elder would ever condone calling someone a “prick”. If you live in a culture that has normalized profanity to that degree, I would advise not being confirmed to that culture as it is depraved. I have checked three scholars (O’Brien, Bruce, and Moo) and all agree the word…

Forget me. What do you make of Colossians? “Brood of Vipers” is not profane. “Prick” and “dildo” are profane. Would you use them in front of your boss, grandma, or Jesus himself?

We aren’t here to denigrate men - there is a fine line between a drill instructor imparting tough love on a blue pilled man and ignoring the clear meaning of scripture, which is interestingly enough like the blue pill folks you’re criticizing. The abusive mentality will also only serve to attract men who are conditioned to take abuse, when the whole point of this subreddit is to provide men a place where they are NOT abused and in fact see through bullies and name callers to gain their identity …

Could you please remove the word “pricks” from the title? This is a great post but we need to cut down on the profanity (Col 3:8)

You have many things going on, each of which could be a thread in and of itself. First of all, have you tried to reconcile with your wife? Is she a believer? Can you get help from your current church/family/friends to save your marriage? That typical “need my freedom” line is garbage but all too common. If you’re changed, does your wife first of all see that in your life? Note that the problems, if not resolved, will still be there with Russian girls.

Just FYI - Owen Benjamin thinks Jews are in a conspiracy to destroy the US. He has the soul of a man hating tatted up overweight SWJ who blames the white man for everything - just tweak a few variables and you have Benjamin.

That is quite the post, you are on a journey and as you rightly realize, only God will save you. First things first - you need intensive therapy if you have attempted suicide. See if you can find a Christian therapist or a pastor who is also a therapist. You will need to radically change your outlook on life. Ignore women now or you will end up in the same situation with another psycho. As for your ex, cut her off. If she texts you, Send her a text “I have moved on from our relationship and I do…

What did her family/your family/ your church do when they found out you were getting divorced? Perhaps you need a new church? If she studied feminist garbage and her professors filled her head with hateful anti marriage rhetoric what makes you think that she has abandoned that for biblical truth?

If she is willing to sin with you, she will sin against you, to modify a well known phrase. You’re on your own when it comes to nonbelievers because her standards can only be ones she makes up for herself. Being a Christian means we come under God’s law and she follows the way of the world, in which hypergamy is king.

Sadly, many men are socially awkward and this flaw is more deadly than being overweight, poverty, and ugliness combined. I’m short, so I had some good cards in my hand and some bad. It depends how you play it . Hopefully they can overcome it, or if you’re especially socially adept and befriend them you can help them out. Otherwise just learn what you can. Also, I noticed that many girls in those groups are hardly desirable as well. Try a Christian dating website, I met my wife on one.

The fact that she hasn’t been pure for even a year suggests that she has a lot more growing in holiness to do. If she isn’t or wasn’t willing to report her first boyfriend as a rapist, then she either is rationalizing like crazy OR she is severely damaged and needs intensive counseling/healing that you’re not prepared to provide since she is too damaged to report the boyfriend. Having been married for ten years, I can tell you that marriage is not a therapy session, nor can you do for this woman…

Your response seems well reasoned and well informed. Red Pill is a philosophy that works in generalities and not a religion that deals in absolutes. Women sleep with lower income (or no income!) men all the time and might even marry them. Overall, however, most women want a man who makes more money. Just like some women will marry men who are shorter or less educated or less intelligent, or whatever. The trend is upward and that’s all they’re saying. Many a short man has done well in the dating …

If you need sources and scientific studies for this stuff, check out Dalrock. Otherwise we could say the same thing about folk wisdom, or RomCom wisdom, or blue pill wisdom, incel wisdom, etc. Both he and Rollo have made the case with studies and statistics that many partners, for example, renders a woman less stable in marriage. It also might be correlated, so while we are not sure of the relationship we can say that, with some exceptions, promiscuity is bad for women. As for men, it’s bad too,…

As another poster said it’s usually through a church or occasionally a psych. Naturally stay away from liberal/compromised counselors. Lots of women are amazed to find that living with a husband is very different than living with ones parents or alone. Saying at the outset that she intends to stay together when, not if but when, things get tough is a great way to weed out low quality women. If she replies that “sometimes people just fall out of love” or “divorce is ok if you’re both unhappy” whe…

Show that you can control yourself. Stay interesting and have the courage to ask her the hard questions before getting married (do counseling as well, you’d be amazed at how quickly things change once you’re married even if you’re devoted to each other). You can discover quite a bit about her and she will learn about you. Trust me I’ve had 10 great years of marriage to a Christian woman.
