US Census Bureau says median age at first marriage is 29.8 for men. So a majority of men are getting married in their 20s. Edit: also, bear in mind when you're talking about mate selection, people don't just get married the day they meet. Probably more like a year at least, and long term cohabitation before marriage has been trending up (over the last several decades). So a majority of men are probably off the market by age 27/28.

There are men in their 20s that want to be married. There are men in their 20s that don't. Same for women. If you want a husband or wife, seek that out. But if you wait 10 years, some of the pool will have dried up. And what remains will have lower average quality, not because the people got worse, but because their are fewer good choices, but still the same number of bad choices. This situation hits women because of basic biology and preferences: it's far easier for a 30s man to marry a 20s wom…

There's a subset of women in their 20s who are constantly turning down dates with the kind of 20s men that are interested in marriage. When these women get into their 30s, some of them start saying yes to men interested in settling down. But of course, some of the best male candidates already are married, snapped up in their 20s by the other subset of women in their 20s that were looking for guys willing to commit.

I don't just think about sex. Sometimes I think about tacos.

Edit: We recently (aug 2016) moved from our hometown to another state so he had to get a new job, get adapted to a new place, and the election. We fought and fought because we are both stressed out. Topkek. She's giving him shit for his political views; this is a clear sign she doesn't respect him. I give the marriage six more months.

I'd choose a son, because I want my child to be happy. Men are more likely to be happy, because women are bad at happiness; most women I know are never satisfied. I suspect that it's partly feminism, which encourages victim mindset, but I think it's also hard wired into women due to their sexual strategy.

Advice to men: never have a serious relationship with a woman who made you wait longer than other men for sex. Don't settle for being a second choice.

You think it was easier to get pussy in the past? Sex has never been more available. And if you're a traditionalist, you can still find what you want, you just have to look harder.

Being a white man will be better in the future of course. Being anything today, man or woman, black or white or anything, is better than pretty much anything from the past other than royalty. Here's what I did today: woke up in my bed in a home with central heating. Brushed my healthy teeth. Ate cheap eggs and sausage, spiced with pepper from far away, orange juice, and coffee from Latin America. Read (mostly) accurate news from around the world. Used my bigger magic box (laptop) to Skype with m…

Here's the reason guys don't like being compared to previous partners, and thus why they tend to avoid women with high n count for ltr's. First, it's easier for women to get casual sex. Thus, a woman who has done so will probably have done it with men with smv greater than the man who is willing to commit. She's been primed to respond sexually to men with higher value than him. This will lead to dissatisfaction on her part, and no end of trouble. Second, even if she avoids obvious Chads, it's st…

There's no such thing as "too much." She can ask for whatever she wants, and if she can get it, more power to her. But... is it realistic? I suspect not. She's not old, but she's not young either. Even if by curvy she means actually curvy and not fat, that's not the most popular shape. Unless she has great facial beauty, physically she's nothing special. Guys that earn 100k, at least 5'10, athletic, blonde, and 28-38? Really damn rare, and most of them know their value. She'll have to bring quit…

So we're basically down to "Why aren't men mind readers?" Is that where we're at?

I am a man, red-ish pill. Maroon pill, you might say. I am also getting married in 3 months. (I believe marriage can be done right, with the right partner, so obviously not 100% red.) My fiancee is in agreement with me on this issue, and indeed in most issues. I wouldn't get married to a woman who wouldn't take my name. It's important in a marriage for both partners to be a team, to be pulling in the same direction. A shared name is one way of signalling that to the community, and public signals…

However, women do get higher GPA's on average in every major, including STEM majors. And what of it? For one thing, it appears that they are comparing overall GPAs. So maybe women are just getting better grades in non-STEM classes (such as general education requirements like history, English ect). And anyway, I've found GPA to be pretty unreliable as a measure of skills- people can choose their classes to some extent even within the same major. When I was in college, I added a second STEM major …

I'd more say this is a cautionary tale as to why you don't marry single mothers.
