The song playing in the video is by Cake, "Ruby, don't take your love to town". If the video played the entire song it would tell a tale of a woman actively cheating on her husband because he came back wounded from war. I wonder what this society expects a wounded combat veteran to do in order to win back the fickle affections of his unfaithful wife? Something tells me all the sticky notes in the world wouldn't cut it.

Stefan Molyneux is mentioned on here from time to time, and during his Robin Williams video he mentions that Robin Williams suffered from a mental construct that dictated he was only valuable or competent as a human being if he were enhanced in some way, in essence: "me plus X". Robin Williams tried it with comedy, acting, drugs, and alcohol, but he never really found peace. I'm sure there's a video out there that Stefan Molyneux's done that explains this better, but the notion that you can't be…

I lurk here too. Here's my noob take on it. If there's clear evidence of rape things become complicated. Regardless of whether or not she seeks medical/legal help, she's going to be damaged goods. The cases I've read about don't end well. She's going to have a tough time getting back to normal, if she's even able to recover. I'm talking about shirking away from the slightest touch, lots of crying, and you can forget about any sex for a long long time. What it comes down to, to me anyway, is how …

This typically holds true. I had a vague unexamined neutral-negative opinion for most of my reddit career of TRP because that's how the hivemind would mention it in loosely related comments sections. I may have been to this subreddit for all of thirty seconds skimming titles and sidebars before dismissing it as some fragment of the PUA community and the frat-bro community. That all changed when Reddit removed all the fun distractions from the front page and instead shoved used tampons down their…

I don't slut shame. I generally let people do what they want and respect their business, but I can't fathom the pants-on-head retard point she makes here. She goes out of her way to cheat on her boyfriend for no other reason than she could. Tells him about it, but has no remorse or regret? If that's not a slut, seriously, what the fuck is a slut anymore? Is the bar so low for what a slut is, that it can't be seen with the naked eye? I'm sure a hamster could come up with something, as is their na…

It may be a sign of things to come. Right now in the US Military we're required to take training courses on sexual harassment and rape prevention that specify drunk persons cannot give consent. Makes you wonder who the rapist is if both parties are drunk. For all we know, this could become law if the trend continues.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
