Assertive, extroverted guys get girls IMO for two reasons: many women find those qualities attractive, yes, but also - guys like that tend to meet more girls, strike up more conversations, go to more friendship-finding events and activities. They tend to put themselves out there more. If you're a wallflower at a party you're not even going to find the girls who would be into you. You gotta play the hand you're dealt in life sometimes. You can always work on the above a little - push yourself to …

I sometimes hear people come back at the idea of "better yourself" or "be your best self" with "I don't want to become someone I'm not" or "why can't I just be myself". I think that's missing the point. Sometimes, if you have trouble finding a relationship, it's because you're not in the right place mentally, emotionally, or situationally to attract a partner. That doesn't mean change who you are. It means you might have some shit to work on to grow as a person. I'm a socially awkward, anxious, …

I think a lot of women like confidence and assertiveness, those tend to be fairly popular qualities in men, and even in wen too. But you can have those qualities without being RP. A lot of RP tactics are borderline abusive. The RP view of women is reductive and dehumanizing. The part of RP that encourages personal growth and confidence, though, has a point. Also, women aren't monolithic. Some like guys who are less dominant and assertive, some like sweet and sensitive or quiet and contemplative.…

automatically assumes malicious intent from men that, I think most would agree, very rarely actually exists I agree with your analysis but maybe not this part. I know an awful lot of women who've run afoul of the wrong guy and been mistreated in any number of disturbing ways. In my experience, rape and sexual coercion are depressingly common.

Confidence and assertiveness will help you play the "game" our patriarchal society has set up, where men pursue and women are pursued. They're certainly good attributes even if you want to go against the grain and break the rules of that "game". But I an others on this sub also regularly endorse empathy and open communication. I encourage the men who come here to see women as whole people who they can relate to. I encourage them to find intimacy in a variety of ways, not just sexually with a wom…

explanations of why women act certain way This premise is in my opinion fundamentally flawed. Women are complex and varied and not monolithic. Redpill explanations are not just misogynistic, they're reductionist and oversimplistic. But that's what makes it tempting. It's an easy answer to a very complex problem. what kind of workout? What body type are women into? What kind of hobbies should a man take in order to be more attractive? Exactly this is why redpill is flawed. The answer to those que…

I think the absolutes of blackpill make it a logical fallacy. I'm in a job where I speak to a LOT of people. I meet homely or odd looking guys in relationships all the time - weak chins, balding, puffy faced, you name it. Is dating and finding casual sex harder if you're not conventionally attractive? I'd say yes, absolutely. Does harder mean impossible? No. I also think people who subscribe very hard to lookism underestimate the other factors at play. I've seen photos of guys who consider thems…

Go to a Walmart or a restaurant or a romantic movie and look at the variety of men who are with women. If you go out in public you'll see old men, short men, fat men with women. Or ask women. Ask 20 women what kind of guys they find cute. I guarantee you'll get different answers. I grew up with mostly female friends who all went after different kinds of guys. Right now I could name you five women in my social circle who are dating and having sex with and perfectly happy with fat or obese guys.

It's harder to find people that share you introvert hobbies, certainly. You can look on forums for your hobbies. Try to meet people IRL, the old fashioned way, who are into the same things. See if there are any clubs or meetups even for an introvert hobby in your region, like a stargazing event. When you go out to bars take a book on your hobby as a conversation starter. And yes, you can try online dating although I agree that method generally sucks. I usually advise people to focus on finding f…

If you don't talk to people or engage them you're not going to get girls. You can still be yourself and look for girls who like the same books or movies, or astronomy buffs. That's harder than finding a girl at a bar maybe but it's something to work on. But you'll still have to talk to and get to know someone. Especially if you have introvert hobbies.

Hang out with other not normal people then. I'm super weird and mentally ill and quite possibly ASD and I hang out with other weirdos. I do ok nowadays with neurotypical folks, but they don't understand me and while we can be friends they would never date me. Which I don't mind I'd rather date a fellow weirdo anyway. I feel like your envy may be getting in your way. IDK how awkward or ugly you really are but if there's some truth to it, yeah you might have trouble dating. You might have to wait …

So men are varied and heterogeneous but women adhere to strict and predictable rules and deal in absolutes? Where's your proof? That seems illogical to me. To give a simple example: height. I'm a short person and I've talked to MANY women about their height preferences. Some have told me that the guy they date MUST be taller. Most say it's not a big deal. A few have say they like a guy to be close in height, or even shorter.

And yet I've run into many men who swear that height is a huge deal breaker that makes them inescapably undatable. And yet I've also met men who are short, autistic, homely, balding, overweight and/or mentally ill who are in relationships. Yeah, if you're some or all of the above, dating will probably be harder. You'll probably never be drowning in pussy. That's how life goes. I'm not drowning in pussy either. I'll always be mentally ill. Shit sucks sometimes. That doesn't mean it's all bad or t…

Women can certainly be attracted to a man based on looks alone. That's not uncommon in my experience. But there are a few reasons why it's more complicated than that, even for (or especially for) an ONS: A woman has to evaluate a strange man's potential to physically hurt or sexually assault her. Sadly it's pretty common for women to have had bad experiences in the past that make them wary. A lot of guys when having an ONS won't bother with the woman's pleasure. Sex hurts if the vagina isn't wet…
