Do not go to marriage counseling. As others have said it's a complete & total waste of time & money. Get things squared away. Talk to a few lawyers & file ASAP. If you are still considering reconcilation it can't be anytime soon. You need to proceed with the divorce first. Then waaaayy down the line after the dust settles then maybe mayyybeee you start reconciling if that's what you even still want. She's literally a security risk to you now. Physically, financially & emotionally. Get away from …

Let her explain it to your daughters. Obviously just let them know you love them. Like you said they will figure it out eventually. Don't go to marriage counseling, it's a complete waste of time & money.

You should really get out & exercise to release that negative energy plus it will make you feel better. Do it consistently for a few weeks & it will become a habit. Also, & this is extreme, but I mention it to people that are stuck in a rut. Go sit in a lobby of a children's hospital for about an hour. You will or at least should see how much you should be thankful & grateful for because it can always be much much worse. Those little ones would give anything to be able to go out & run around etc…

You say you have a two year old daughter yet you divorced a few years ago. Possible misprint ? If not I hate to say it but I'd dna test the child.

If you do give her an eviction notice. Do it legally with a registered letter or some other legal way. BEFORE you do this you should go to a couple of local police stations & let them know what's up to protect yourself. Because she will likely lose her shit & get you arrested on false claims. Handing her a letter means nothing, she can just say I never got it. It has to be served legally.

I think in this context it means she is missing work. The terms "calling out sick" & "calling in sick" are interchangeable. It's one of those weird phrases like "I'm up" for going to the game & "I'm down" to go to the game, they mean the same thing. Sorry I'm probably over explaining now.

What helped me years ago to let go was that it would be damn near impossible to go back to the way it was. She is a different person, you are probably "in love" with the idea of the person she was(or who you thought she was) at some high point in the relationship. Yet that person doesn't really exist anymore & likely isn't just magically going to come back. Think of that person like they died, she doesn't exist anymore. Also you are probably different, at least a little bit & wouldn't put up wit…

Or run out of the situation by her bat shit craziness. Lot of good guys get screwed over by these women. Their mom's & sisters & friends constantly in her ear telling her she can do better. Many guys would love to still be a part of the kids lives but they make it damn near impossible sometimes. Not all but a decent percentage.

Sounds like a complete mess. Her isolating him from friends & family. Him sleeping with prostitutes while married. Maybe you should get a few friends together, men & women, maybe mom & dad & sit him down intervention style & explain the situation to him & that he needs to divorce before something really bad happens. Sounds like they need to be separated physically. Do it soon so you will have no regrets about not saying something. Doesn't matter who's to blame, the relationship should be over.

My ex started acting up before a Disney Trip years ago. Looking back I'm pretty sure she just wanted me to get mad enough to tell her to stay home. Perhaps she let her passport expire on purpose. Sometimes, especially with BPD and Cluster B types, vacations or birthdays make them go haywire. They realize they are going to be "trapped" in a close proximity situation with certain people for a long period of time & can't deal with it knowing their mask will slip.

Near Zero chance of it working out so soon. Months is nothing in this context. Maybe, MAYBE, sometime down the road after a few years but probably still not & only for a limited time. She will not remain stable. They can't behave themselves for longer than a few months, if that. If she is a NPD/BPD type the cycle will repeat itself indefinitely until she ages out of the game & realizes she has to "behave" herself for longer stretches to even get an older guy to put up with her BS. Look at Sofia …

Addicted to phone (tip of the iceberg, will cause multiple problems). Rude to servers. If her mom and/or sisters have unstable relationships. Could go on but I'll leave more examples to others.

Never married but separated with kid. Never begged or cried to her but I did get very angry & regret the repeated angry arguments & texts. Not the first few, but after that I should have just stopped. It needed to be said a few times but I probably over did it.

Friend of mine is doing exactly that right now. I've been debating whether to say something or not. Probably won't but it's like watching a train wreck about to happen. It's just waaaay too soon. Kids involved & he's just all in almost immediately.

It's crazy isn't it ?! I mean seriously do they not see how screwed up it is. Why isn't society shouting them down. How can they have zero shame. I mean I know why but it IS unbelievable. If someone were to time travel from even say 2000 or so to now & read some of their profiles they wouldn't believe it.

Just over a period of time she alienated and/or pissed off just about everyone she had anything to do with. Family, friends, coworkers, kids, random people. Anyone close to her for any amount of time she couldn't keep the mask from slipping. She just CAN NOT go more than about 3 months without some sort of meltdown. Either personal or work related etc. Without fail over 15 years she just can't keep it together for a long stretch of time. She's also super smart, really attractive & usually has me…

Some of the time when the ex wife gets the bulk of custody they burn out not too far down the road. Either she will want to go out more, maybe just need some alone time or mr new guy wasn't quite ready to play house & step daddy 24/7 after all. Give it time & she will probably implode some. If they are near teen age they can start voting with their feet. Stay cool & calm. The more you act upset & pissed the more her & her idiot friends will relish in it. If you were making that much money why were you doing all the house work & chores ? That's ridiculous in of itself. Hire a housekeeper or something or just pick up after yourself. Also why in the world would she work 6:00am to 11:00pm most nights & taking "business trips"?? Things aren't adding up. She probably had an affair during "business trip" & needed to have sex with you in case of pregnancy. Not trying to be a jerk but ditch this person asap.

Not trying to be a jerk but this is potentially NOT his rock bottom. My point is don't start drinking too much, get a DUI or arrested or worse. Any number of things could happen to make things worse.

WhereAreAllTheGoodMen subreddit will provide numerous case studies for you. Ignore any of them under say 30 to 35 or so for better relevance to what you're talking about I think. But there are plenty above that age that if you don't spot them or have prior knowledge of female behavior that will trap the white knight type.

Also think of her friends as Jennifer Aniston's married friend with kids in The Break Up. The wife is going to be 100% on her side no matter what & the husband is going to shrink into silence & not say a damn word about it even if he thinks it's wrong because he doesn't want to rock his own boat. Kind of a lame example I agree but if you've seen it you will understand. Thank your lucky stars you're not that husband.

You should probably just go into "I don't give a damn" mode for a few months. Try & stay stable for your kids. Over a period of time the truth will come out about her false allegations. She will probably try & screw up one of her friends marriages or relationships by enmeshing herself in their life or blatantly cheating. One or the other will put an end to it & think huh she's not on the up & up like we thought. I don't want you anywhere near that woman. Or if you must you can send a message to …

Well that seems pretty harsh. After all this is a sub for divorced men. If someone wants to vent or seek advice about their current life getting blown up this is the spot. Yeah it's probably relatively easier to recover with no kids but telling them to STFU up about it is wrong in my opinion. Some guys walked the line day in & day out for years only to be screwed over by the system & a bad partner. Maybe they got thrown in jail, completely destroyed financially, lost a good job in an area where …

Contrary to popular opinion you do not need to be at every single damn practice, game, event etc. It can become more time consuming than a part time job. There should be "no parents allowed" games & practices anyway. This could replace the older generation equivalent of pick up games or whatever. My mom used to be all up in my sports business & tried with my kids. Had to tell her to back off & give them space. Little Johnny will be just fine without you being there constantly & watching every mo…

Yeah stay cool & calm. Teenage girls arent really known for consistent beliefs or emotions. If you have a solid foundation just give it time & she will come around. Let her experience some of the exes nonsense & she will eventually be ready to spend some quality time with dear ol dad. Seriously she will come around on her own.

Don't jump back in too quickly. A friend of mine going through a divorce was showing me a couple of girls he was talking to online that we knew back in the day & it was kinda cringe. He was talking about how he'll be divorced soon & they should hook up or whatever. Their responses were very bland & telling. He was/is still in the fog of breaking up & just couldn't see it. Was just excited to get any interaction ( I did the same thing when it happened to me). They were just being nice to him, min…

Along with all the book recommendations listed here all the time... newcomers should venture into the BpdLovedOnes, NarcissisticAbuse & WhereAreAllTheGoodMen subreddits. They don't hold all the answers but my guess is about 80% of cases we see here in this sub directly relate to these. I wish I knew about all that earlier in life, it would have saved a lot of time & heartache. Most women today, & some men (mostly because of social media) are a complete lost cause for long time faithful relations…

Just trying to lay out a "near worst case scenario" for you & other readers. If you think a woman can't completely do a 180 on everything you think she is & change what you verbally agreed to then I don't know what to tell you. Post something like this on a divorce for men sub & your gonna get some bad stories & scenarios. I wish you & your family many happy days though, honestly. Sounds like it will all work out & won't come to legal issues.

Yep & this is when people lose their shit & go sideways. They never had anything really that bad happen to them or their family. Never been betrayed & think because they wouldn't do it nobody else would either. Then go in thinking everyone just "knows or really cares" that I'm a good father. Expect nothing from the courts. If someone gets in her ear & she realises she literally doesn't have to do anything to make you happy, you will be lucky to be an afterthought.

The aging beauties can really spiral. Seen it happen to a cpl of them. They get upset/confused that their charms don't work like they used to when they were in their 20's & 30's. It might work short term but nobody is in any hurry to wife them up anymore unless they are are older or not the type of guy they want. They can't just show up & smile & shake their ass etc & have everyone fall all over them. The older broads drinking wine dancing on a boat looking a little rough & out of place.

Get a "go bag' ready. Keep all your important info in one spot, checkbook, credit cards, insurance info etc. If not get organized asap. Possibly keep in your car, work or trusted family friend that she doesn't know. Last thing you want to do is be trying to get it all ready in case it's a worse case scenario type thing.

Know their politics & beliefs. Also a good idea to get a feel for her family's too. Might want to know if you're about to marry patient zero of TDS. Or expected to be in church every sunday etc. If her mom & sister have blue hair & boss their husbands around...guess who's next??. Nope, more men should be willing to go this route, if need be, for a period of time. Instead of just rushing right back into some relationship just because they aren't used to it. Learn to be able to be ok being alone. Maybe it would help in the big scheme of things & make some women shape up instead of just being able to swap out partners. Less guys praising some has been 200 pounder with 4 kids with 3 different guys. I'm really not trying to sound misogynistic, goes for guys too.

In this day & age with the internet & smart phones if they are even the slightest bit attractive there are probably 20 (or more) people just waiting for her (any woman) to give the green light. That's why most of them are so nuts. They have too many options. It's out of our control. Nothing you could have done to prevent it. Stay strong & power through.

You have to play the long game especially if kids are involved. The kids will figure it out or already have. Just keep on keeping on. Sometimes this means shutting your emotions down & being selfish. This doesn't mean partying and especially don't go trying to hook up with some other woman too quickly. Keep your emotions in check. Easier said than done some days for sure. Reason & logic won't work with the ex much of the time so why even bother, just disengage & try & control what you can(like b…

There is no social shame at all anymore for a woman that gets divorced. In fact it's usually the opposite. Her friends & family will cheer her on like it's something to be proud of. Ever hear the term "starter husband"??. Women, especially if they are even slightly attractive, can potentially have dozens(possibly more) men lined up just waiting to get their chance. With smart phones/internet it's just too easy for them. And probably half those men would have zero issues being part of breaking up…

Look up BPD. Borderline Personality Disorder. BPDlovedones here on Reddit is filled with stories of these types. It's really eye opening & will make many things click & make sense.
