Yeah actually it does. It's an unnecessary statement to make. She made a decision, she used the men to make it happen. They each made a decision to use the opportunity she presented for easy sexual satisfaction. If the only thing you choose to take from this is the men used her it's because you have some bias.

You could say she used the men as well

What makes you think he agreed? There are absolutely no signs pointing to him consenting. The bit of information we do have tells us most likely he didn't. So where are you drawing these conclusions from?

I think it is appropriate to judge a sub reddit partially by the actions its mods take. Take /r/technology for example

There is a higher honor then dying for your county - killing for your country - My WO on basic training. This is irrelevant, if anything it speaks to my point that everyone assumes there is no higher honor than dying for your country. You're basically speaking out against traditionalism. You want to erase the roles of the past and the expectations and I SHUDDER TO USE THE WORD the priveleges. No need to shudder, try explaining yourself better. I don't want to erase them at all. I want to recogni…

You have to also remember why they are interested in different things. Society raises men to feel like it is their duty to serve in the military and there is no higher honor than dying for your country. Plus it is natural for men to feel like it is there job to protect women and natural for women to feel as if they should be protected. This is where the problem is, neither gender should feel like their life is worth less than the others.

Yeah that is what I meant when I said it is touchy. Ignore everyone telling you not to try at all simply because it is a gym. There aren't too many other places to meet fit healthy women. It just takes common sense and timing. Wait for the prey to head to the watering hole, wait until she is done, or until she is taking a break. As long as you are being polite and reading the signs it is just like any other place.

When you start blaming people for not being like you yes I feel strongly about that. At least here there is no great discrimination against short men, sorry if that happens in Europe. Where I am from this is not a problem among mature/professional adults.

You knew perfectly well that I didn't mean all and that is pretty clear, I see no reason to change my wording. No I didn't and still don't because you refuse to specify. I find this whole notion riddiculous. A tall slender form has been a standard of beauty for women for half a century. One only needs to look to western popular culture to see this. For example:A quick google-search reveals that the standard for female runway models is between 1.70 and 1.80 m tall. Look to the fantasy world, elve…

This is touchy territory. I have a bit of advice, all of this takes some common sense. I always felt like the hardest part here is the introduction. If it looks like she is serious about her routine the best thing to do is ask "do you even lift?" No seriously though I ask if she competes. If she is a cardio bunny ask if she runs in any marathons or half marathons. Maybe she knows some good running trails near by. This can lead to asking if she would be interested on going for a run some time. Sa…

So many people don't know how to articulate it though. Why won't you have an obese partner? "Uh I dunno, cause it's ugly" then they end up feeling ashamed. Which is understandable. I don't agree with fat shaming people but also pretending it is not a health issue is just as bad.

Both men and women love to try (Good luck though) shaming me for my height in various situations. What men and women? All of them? Is there a certain height this starts at or just taller than you in general? Instead of both you might want to use a word like "certain" or "some". If they do this so easily, is it not reasonable to believe that these people carry their, with lack of a better word, prejudices into other situations in life such as career, while dealing with short men? What about those…

Doesn't your own comment contradict this though? You stated you believe that people should not be judged for their sexual preferences. You failed to point out where I contradicted myself. Please do that because I am curious. It is only my own experience, but I have heard women berate men for being shallow and only thinking with their "little head" when evaluating potential love interests. However when I point out the contradiction in this when they are looking for a "nice hunk of man meat" I'm t…

This is exactly the opposite of what the MIAS should be about Not should, is. There is no evidence it has anything to do with the movement. Edit: Also, just re-read it and the victim wants to remain anonymous, yet the publication slapped her picture on the article! Great journalism, boys and girls. She posted that picture on facebook, you might want to re-read the article again.

If someone, say myself - points out that these beliefs are incorrect, you get this "ideological policing". I'm all of a sudden an outsider and a sheep, because I have information that contradicts the firmly held and absurd beliefs and theories that we have built up around these things. You really haven't pointed anything out or provided information that contradicts any firmly held beliefs. You have shared speculation without much backing it.

What repercussion do men face that woman don't? I think it is pretty clear from the other comments in this thread men harshly judge women for this. You can politely turn someone down without giving a reason why. This problem doesn't exist between mature adults. Edit: Punctuation.

Also, no, everyone shuts down fat people and the only people who get annoyed are the fatties themselves. I actually don't date obese woman because it shows a lack of exercise and often a poor diet. I am healthy and take care of my body and look for partners who do the same. This isn't limited to obesity, it also includes drug use, smoking, heavy drinking, etc.

Well I concede. Not in dating however. To compare the rejection of an obese woman to a short man is absurd. Neither a man or a woman should be judge negatively because of a sexual preference.

I disagree, I have never seen this height discrimination. I was in the military and have worked many jobs sense. This is a self esteem issue.

When a man dislikes an overweight woman, despite the connotations you mention, he's still seen as a bastard who is objectifying her and is only interested in stick thin models etc. Not true, this is purely a pessimistic mentality. I have made it clear that I am interested I'm healthy, fit women. I live a healthy lifestyle and am interested in the same. I have made it clear to heavier set woman in a respectful manner. I have made it clear during casual relationships I will not date a woman becaus…

Being short has a negative impact on men outside of dating, being tall has a positive impact on women outside of dating Please list some examples? Unless you want to play in the NBA I don't see any. Also I corrected your grammar above

This doesn't really compare. Men and women often refuse a the opposite sex when they are obese. It shows an unhealthy or lazy lifestyle (majority of the time). Often men won't date women taller than them, no one complains about that. If a woman or man has a height preference that is ok, you can't judge someone by there sexual preference. Edit: /u/circuitology edited his comments below long after I replied and without adding anything to inform of the edits. Not going to pick through. I do concede…

I feel like we really don't, in movies it seems like mainly oriental races are portrayed as victims of human trafficking. It also is usually portrayed as more of a foreign problem (from an American perspective). It seems like that video is taking old propaganda and specific images out of context and using them in a very biased way. I'm not saying this to argue, you seem to know a lot more about this than I do. I guess I'm not seeing the relationship between all of it.
