Not disputing that fact. Just don't be hypocritical saying divorce only favors women

Even the most loving parents' love ain't unconditional. If you think I'm lying, drop out of school try living in their house till you are 40 still collecting money from them, and see how they begin to talk to you, look at you, etc. Every relationship is an investment and the investor desires returns. From your description up there (if you are telling the whole truth) I'm sorry to say your ex never loved you. Women have a nurturing side that takes little and turns it into a lot. When a woman fall…

Only commit what you are willing to lose: just as with any financial investment This is the best answer so far. Most of the pro- marriage answers above seem to be from people in lala land. I wonder why people treat contracts involving money with all seriousness but when it comes to matters of their heart they just go "come what may."

Lol, what's the point of a job and education? Most people only endure school to the final level with student loans and debts to qualify for good jobs. Everyone wants a good job so they don't starve to death and so they become recognized members of society. It's a thing of "I have no choice" It's not the same as marriage. Many (especially men) are realizing today that marriage ain't worth it after all especially now that it's so easy to get free 😼 compared to say 50 years ago.

Since your job is web based can't he learn and do your type of job?

I'm so sorry about what happened. You are not alone, darling. You have your kids. Remember, your little ones are counting on you. Please, be strong for them. They need you to survive this cold and harsh world. I hope you have other family members whom you can lean on at this time. Stay strong, dear.

It's not your job to make sense of Gods plan It's not actually. She wrote in her last post that her husband flouted the stay at home order for a long time. Even apostle Paul told us we should obey constituted authority. Romans 13 vs 1. If you walk onto a busy road, you risk being hit by a car. It's simple logic. I feel sad for her and for the fact that she's pregnant.

Men like Ryan Reynolds are kings of self-deprecating sarcasm. Ladies love it, especially when you know how to use it and when you use it with the right facial and bodily expressions.

Trust me darling I've seen your situation happen over and over again. If you lose weight/ or gain weight to please a man and not yourself, you lose value in his eyes. He will see you as desperate for his attention and give him more reasons why you are not worthy of him. If however, you decide to look healthy and increase your options, he will forget that tiny thing he thinks is wrong with you and begin to pine after you. By then you might have been long gone. Start this little experiment. Whenev…

Okay, I'm going to be real with you sweetheart. Maybe you should focus on working on your craft and what you are really good at. Lupita Nyogo had this interview with Oprah talking about having these same insecurities as a child. (I'll suggest you look it up) She didn't become light-skinned, but she worked on her craft and today nobody remembers all those other prettier girls from school. Everyone knows Lupita the Oscar award-winning actress. In the next 30 to 40 years, your looks won't really ma…

He's a good man and his type is hard to find. The best you can do is support him from far away. I really hope he gets something doing so both of you can be together again.

Two things: He might not have led you on. A lot of responsible men attach their self worth to their ability to provide. When they can't provide, they feel like they have failed. This also affects their love life. Or He's just naturally caring. He pampers you because you are a wonderful person. But I'll go with the first part.

Why are you giving this dude free publicity? It's obvious he's bitter and frustrated.

I find it quite disturbing that the headline still blames the victim for her ex's madness. Whether you dated him or he's just a regular guy down the street, a mad man is a mad man. Maybe we should encourage women to learn self defence techniques in case they are alone with psychos.

Saying no man should marry in this day and age is very hypocritical of you and invalidates your saying not all marriages are bad. You are just bitter because it did not work our for you.

Yeah, but then one shouldn't say all relationships are trash because of one's bad experiences. People like the guy up there have a higher chance of seeking monogamy again.

I have nothing against MGTOW but your opinion just proves you are bitter and really can't let it go. There are genuinely happily married couples. There are marriages where the husband has been out of work for years and the wife has to fend for the family herself. Tell me who benefits more? Your job is hard work, why haven't you left it? Nothing in life is expected to fall at our feet. When two different people come together, there will definitely be challenges. Stop thinking every man who is mar…

It's not even the fact that he watches porn that's the problem. When a person starts seeking more realistic ways of satisfying their sexual fantasies it can be damaging to their relationships. Men are more likely to be addicted to the thrill of porn. Maybe someone should tell your boyfriend to watch the movie Shame and see how horrible porn is.

You are just making stupid unfounded assumptions you got from the internet or the drinking bar. Yes, women want to marry up and men want to marry the hottest chick but circumstances happen and people realize they are okay with the person in their lives at the moment. I've seen more women fall in love with a guy who earns less than them and marry down.

While I agree with all you have written I also believe there should be a balance. Where do we draw the line between validating our kid's feelings and preparing them for the real world? The world is not nice. It's cold and tough. Nobody has the time to make others feel comfortable except when they have something to gain from it. So, how can a parent teach their kids how to be tough if they are always validating their feelings?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
