Same with me and alcohol (started as Dry January, now plan to stop altogether). Early drinking was a net positive experience- lots of fun, definitely more fun than pain. Next stage—less fun, more negatives, but still marginally fun. Final stage (I haven’t hit any sort of nuclear rock bottom)—drinking has become a habit more than a direct choice, and more negative than fun. After a long enough break from regular drinking , I pulled my head out of my ass and was “what the fuck am I doing? Continui…

The ones I know are supported by parents or rich husbands—-it’s just their lunch with the girls (ie day drinking) money.

This is why I can’t take conservatives seriously. Can liberals be too pc, too earnest, and get upset about little things that don’t really matter? Sure. But so do conservatives; however, the conservatives always seem to adopt this “we’re rational, liberals are too emotional” stance while also acting like irrational children. Trump is criticized; immediate screams of “libtard,” “snowflake” and kool aide drinker”. As if these are actual debate points instead of an immature, emotional response. Go …

That’s not Suzy Parker. Her name is Carmen Dell’Orefice. She’s been modeling since 1946.

She’s the one who also wrote the article about men not dating her because she was too brainy for them

Yeah, this is a total context thing. How serious was relationship, how long, how acrimonious was the split, how upset were the exes after th3 breakup, how long ago was breakup, etc. A couple casually dating for a few months before mutually deciding to breakup—— maybe a bit of awkwardness, but no big deal if one starts dating in friend group six months later. One SO devastates another after a 10 year marriage with a breakup out of no where and immediately begins dating their former SO’s best frie…

I know in my dad’s case, my mother refused to have anyone over to the house who wasn’t one of her relatives and bitched so much if he tried to schedule an evening out with his own friends or relatives, he gave up trying.

Until she needs help moving, a ride somewhere, or a shoulder to cry on. Then she’ll text you.

She has a tiny chin and weak jawline. Which means, ironically, she has a double chin, or at least fat and skin sagging like an older woman’s neck. Aka turkey neck. Thus the odd angle, hand hiding sagging neck, and extreme contouring to give illusion of jawline and disguise jowls. Plus carefully placed scarf is hiding most of her body in full length shot. If she had tight waist, she would be showing it off

Just because the mother doesn’t work doesn’t mean she’s actually raising the kids or home making. I’ve witnessed plenty of stay at home moms sitting on a sofa surrounded by in folded laundry in a filthy house playing g on her phone while the children run around completely unsupervised. I’ve seen the opposite, too, of course, but stay at home doesn’t equal engaged, attentive mom.

This is complete troll. First post was somewhat believable, second less so. This one bit at all. She would never be the one ending it, and boy toy wouldn’t stop tapping his golden goose.

The vast majority of sexual assault and other forms of violence are by a person known to the victim. While stranger danger gets all the hype, it’s relatively rare. Humans have a tendency to be fearful of the unlikely to happen while not protecting themselves from much more probable dangers.

The ick factor is that this wasn’t a random 17 year old. She’s known him since he was 7, when she played his mother in a movie. She had kept in touch over the last 10 years, often referring to him as her son and her love. This was obviously a grooming situation.

Mark Pearson was accused, arrested, and tried for the sexual assault of a woman he merely brushed past in a subway station. He didn’t even say “hello.”
