Great post. This is 100% truth.

If you are new and don't agree you need to read more. I came here just a month or so ago, and have pretty much kept my mouth shut and just read the material. I've made a few comments when I had something to add, but have made zero posts. No one wants my lame life story. They don't want your lame story either. TRP is legit, don't spoil it.

A few years ago I got hired to do repo work for a rent to own place. (Never rent to own its a scam) If the customer could pay their past due bill in cash I could let them keep their shit. In a pretty short amount of time my store had the best rate of current accounts in the company. This is because all their people they had before would listen to sob stories and not want to take the shit, but I gave zero fucks. I would unplug full refrigerators and start wheeling them out the door and the custom…

It's cool Steve. It will also help with job applications after college. Just add it to the front, keep all your other names. Then you can do business as Steve Whatever, and no one will care.

The moral to this story is have more than one fucking skill. If he had to take a minimum wage he was retarded, you can make 10 an hour flipping burgers at macdonalds and smoke weed all day and no one gives a shit. Minimum wage is fucking monopoly money and anyone paying minimum wage will treat you like the dumb ass you are. He could have got on somewhere making more than that and still had it easy while he figured his shit out. Let this be a lesson for the younger guys here. Don't just work at a…

False statistics are an easy way to support a narrative, any narrative, that transfers power from one group to another.

You are assigning too many variables. He is very close to starting his own company, and is built like a brick wall. Is he in the 1%? He is a cocky fucker and if you asked him, I bet he would say yes. But here is the problem. Your "99%" are blue pilling. They work hard, but they eat at McDondalds. They sit in traffic, then they go home and sit in front of the TV. They work the same job from 18 to they disable out in their late 50s. The last time they ate a salad was in 1997... Also look at how th…

For a guy who is just starting, sure. But the manta of "you don't want to overtrain" is repeated so much its almost taken as gospel at this point.

Overtraining is mostly broscience. If it was real then how is my friend working 8-10 hours a day as a brick layer and hitting the gym 5 nights a week? Anecdotal evidence for sure, but I know plenty of dudes who work construction and their ethic in the gym puts most bros to shame. The body will adapt to whatever you throw at it. Eat right, sleep right, train hard.

Not to make this a contest here, but you have to be careful about physical altercations with people. We have a few MMA fighters who come in the bar from time to time. In a hoodie, in a darkened room... Even in a short sleeve shirt but on the off season with a beard and long hair... unless you already knew who they were, theres no way you could tell. But these guys are trained killers. Edit: I don't think I made my point after reading what I just wrote. What a lot of people don't get is that figh…

This will get buried but I have seen this a lot working the door at bars. Some girls LOVE starting shit between their man, and random dudes. It's an aphrodisiac for their sick and twisted power trip. Most of the time their guy is emotionally unstable and a good fighter and the guys she picks to fight him are 'perceived' as an easy target. He beats ass, they go home and fuck. You probably broke this cycle and ruined both their nights. Never justify defending yourself to anyone, he hit you, you ma…

As I go deeper into self reflection, I don't see it as wasted so much as misguided. However, when I first found my way here I was pissed on several levels. Example? I have two college degrees, and I hated both careers. Now I work as a bouncer at a bar while I "figure it out". The money isn't terrible, but I never would have imagined at 20 that I would find myself wondering what the fuck I was doing at 33. I wasn't ever a total blue, I never had trouble meeting women and getting laid, but I also …

If you don't do it right in your 20s you find redpill in your 30s and think "Wow, I pretty much wasted a decade".

Ninjitsu and wrestling are going to get you killed. I bounce on the weekends, so take this advice not as expert, but at least from a place of experience. Learn to box. Never ever go to the ground in a street fight.

I hitch hiked 1500 miles to Los Angeles when I was 18. It was an experience I would never take back, but it wasn't something I would call a life changing event. Eventually I returned home when I was 20 and I had similar problems to the ones I tried to leave behind. While it was definitely an enlightening experience, I think where ever you go, there you are. It would have been more useful to work on myself first, then go on an adventure of such magnitude. I think I would have gotten more out of i…
