I never used privelaged as a natively charged word in the slightest, sorry if thats how you read it!! I only stated that men like yourself are privelaged in many ways, but that doesnt mean your lights are any less valuable! As to police, i wouodnt sat a higher proportion are racist than civillians, but a racist cop certainly poses more of a threat to persons than a racisy civilian!!

First off lets not discount where you live, i assume you live in an economically developed nation which is a HUGE privelage. I cant speak to your upbringing since obviously i dont know you but its statistically quite likely that you had a comfortable upbringing with little chance of falling into crime. You state that the "police arent racists", demonstrably some are, id never claim that all police are racists, thatd be as stupid as claiming that none of them are! You are not maximally privelaged…

Its not a joke, though a small fraction of its posts are so moronic they seem satirical! When i followed it was because im wary about the negation of mens rights in certain areas, thats not to say that other groups dont have it worse! White western males are privelaged, but ill always advocate maximum human rights across the board regardless!

She wasnt conversing with this man on the street. She was in HIS car. In an enclised space. She felt threatened. Moreover im gonna assume youre not a 17 year old girl. They are obviously different, yes. I wouldnt claim theyre identical cases. But why does it matter if the threat is physical or implicit? She was in his car. Thats hardly neutral ground. He wasnt willing to take no for an answer. In either case the victim feels threatened by the coercive actions of the aggressor into doing what they want.

If you dont trust your girlfriend enough to believe her, thats a seperate issue. Fact remains that assuming shes telling the truth she is absolutely the victim. Irrespective of wether she had any responsibility, shes the victim of rape.

Thats some dangerous victim blaming narrative. With the details we have we know that he ignored her when she declined. This likely made her feel threatened, compounded by the fact that being in his car is hardly neutral ground. The responsibility is undeniably on him for his disgusting behaviour. She could habe kept refusing, but that clearly meant nothing to him. I imagine she felt threatened, at the very least heavily pressured

He pressured her into doing something she didnt consent to do and didnt want to do. She clearly expressed that multiple times, but he continued to apply pressure. Its disgusting and of course its coercion. Why wouldnt it be?

Im glad its not just me. When ive commented on this sub in the past im normally met with a storm of downvotes which is fine, im aware im probably more moderate in my views then a lot of people on this sub. But it's got to know im not the only one who takes issue with the way this sub is headed. Post quality seems to have deteriorated rapidly, and that takes power away from the sub as a legitimate source of advocacy for real mens issues

My main issue with this sub is that its a mess of real mens issues and bullshit like this! Youre pulling information out of thin air to fit your narrative, its rediculous! Even if youre right, and Maisie Williams is an asshole, how is that a mens rights issue!?? You couldnt possibly know her motivation has anything to do with the dudes gender. I think mens rights issues are important and should be discussed, thats why im subbed here. But posts like this just make the sub look like a joke IMO.

Euthanasia is illegal for both men and women in Spain though... I dont see what this post has to do with mens rights per se, id assume that the result would have been the same had their roles been reversed. This is a human rights issue. The legality of euthanasia should be discussed sure, but why is this a gendered issue?

As a feminist I totally agree with this. Whatever views she holds to, this applies to the commonsesnse view of feminism that general equality of tratment is the goal (broadly speaking I would say sexism is the opposite). The warped perception of feminism as misandry is sexist. So yeah, of course the world can be split into feminists and sexists. Just means that many who brand themselves feminists are in fact sexists. While i see your point, a central tenet of democracy is that everyone counts for one vote and nobody counts for more than one. To say that the less you contribute through taxes the less democratic legitimacy youre extended is an incredibly dangerous precedent to set. The country would dissolve into some form of oligarchy, led by the top 1% of earners in the country. This is assuming that because they contribute more to the national coffers they have a stronger, more legitimate say by your logic.

Me personally? Im a student! I can hardly afford to keep myself alive! But if youre talking use of ky taxes then i suppose i dont see a problem with that. I would say that sanitary products serve a more important role, id class them under healthcare whereas razors would likely fall more under cosmetic. I would prioritise healthcare over cosmetics in a welfare state. But in short yes i would!

Then this is just a difference in our political opinions, i believe a level of social welfare greatly benefits society. This is a form of welfare, at least thats how its portrayed by the title of the article. The specification of "those in need" suggests that the women would be unable to buy the sanitary products.

Mens rights is not about the negation of womens rights. I think that the right to basic personal hygiene is something that we should extend to everyone no?? I see no issue here. The money may not benefit you as a man but it benefits a large portion of society. By this posts logic i should be against money being invested in cancer research, I mean I dont even have cancer!!
