It's more like a general life philosophy. Checkout GaryVee on youtube, i got this from him. He basically says that he is happy because he has 0 expectations about everyone else, including his wife, kids... Why? Because everyone has their own fucking problems. For me this resonated because I was subconsciously holding standards about others. By subconsciously i mean, It's like I didn't know that I had high expectations on others but I actually in hindsight expected a lot from people. For example,…

Hey man I'm 19 too and I can correlate completely with ya. I am not into this seduction thing, just skimming every once in a while, so try to take this advice mofr from a philosophical/practical aspect (if it makes sense). Very interesting and I agree with the point that when you have no expectations when going out, you have much better time. It's definitely true for me, i am more social and friendly that way. Maybe expectations, standards are the source of all anxiety. You set standards to something out of your control (or incapable of controlling - no pickup skills) and get sad and depressed and stuck eventually. Does the OP or anyone else know any books or w/e on this "social energetics" topic?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
