Home-schooling sounds like a valid option for sure. There are plenty of good public and private schools. However, if public schools push state agenda, private usually push one religion or another. If you home school and manage not to indoctrinate, then you're doing well. How well does anyone keep their biases out of teaching though, I wonder? It's rare to see unbiased journalism.
