While it can be argued that circumcision can be considered mutilation, generally, circumcision is a socially accepted process throughout much of the first world. (Not saying its right, just facts here) Whereas female circumcision is a very large issue. It's mostly seen in middle eastern cultures (which I think even we can agree that women are oppressed in).
