As much bullshit as the wage gap is and as entertaining as Maddox is, his video getting 100 million views isn't going to change the minds of any of the presidential candidates. I am pretty sure Sanders, Clinton, Trump, and Cruz all know the wage gap is mythological. The problem is that most of the public doesn't understand it and going against the popular opinion is going to cost them all votes.

I think you may be looking at this the wrong way. The data in the video only seems depressing because no solution is provided to guys that aren't in that easy upper 20%. Some of these are well worded but most of them give too much of a pretentious tone. "One may..." is used a little too often and there is no way hardcore feminists are going to come around to overly sophisticated language. If this was changed to represent how people actually talk, but still maintained an informative and calm tone then it could be very useful.

The comments section is even more disgusting. How can so many people not see the hypocrisy?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
