(I'm assuming you're still in highschool) I was in the same boat as you. The best thing to do is be a part of clubs or associations like band, rotc, etc. dress well. If you have a female friend, ask her to go shooing with you. The most important thing though is you're state of mind. Just don't care what people think and do you.

I agree. I'm in high school so I dunno what the "real world" is exactly like, but I do have female friends. Very few but they aren't bad. One I use to run ideas past to get a female reaction (I account for female bias and such), use almost as a spy to see what other females think/know, and she's honestly fun to be around. That would be good, but then new guys, like myself, who need advice couldn't get it. Yes, there is r/asktrp, but there are a LOT less active people there than here. A way to filter out flairs, or make it so posts from long time members have some sort of boost so that it would be higher rater than a post with the same upvotes but posted by a newer member would be a better solution,

Ah okay. I was with rednecks/country people so the conversation would come around to trucks a lot, so i wasn't just bringing it up from no where. My car is nice though. Leather interior, kick ass sound system, get up and go when I want to, and all in like-new condition. (They even pointed out how there aren't any scuffs, marks, or anything.)
