If bottom men felt similar they would have the same sex rates. Ehh. I think there is some difference between getting vaginally penetrated and anally penetrated. Even some women talk about losing their 'anal virginity' first, which just kinda shows how built up vaginal penetration is for women — both in terms of vulnerability but also societally/religiously imposed purity complexes. Plus, if we going off of OP's original claim, men have lower inhibitions about casual sex, so they wouldn't have th…

I knew that men liked feeling like the best of their partners sexual encounters, but the amount of things you either ding or give yourself a point for is just exhausting. Seeing sex talked about this way made me cringe, even if I understand to some degree.

For sure, I definitely agree that society has conditioned us all, male and female, to assign victimhood to certain people and not others. That's pretty well acknowledged at this point though, so with that established I think we need to start rooting out specifc behaviors and come up with solutions. I think women should want to do that regardless of what men do or don't do. I want to do better for me and them. *But yes of course, men won't see the change they want if they don't step up as well. S…

As a woman, we have to be realistic. Yes there are definitely societal factors at play and yes men should also see themselves as victims, but that shouldn't be your answer when it comes to the way that women have mishandled men in these situations. We have to take on the responsibility for our specifc part in this, and doing so doesn't negate the role other people/societal factors might be playing. Just say you understand and want to do better rather than trying to redirect the attention to "the…

Yeah, you're right. I don't think that can be blamed on men or women though, it is a well established feature of our society that predates all of us. I think we all share the burden for coming up with alternatives/solutions though and also doing the internal work required to actually change things.

That's unsurprising. It isn't a cultural norm either, but to your original question, yes some men do use women for financial stability.

That wasn't your question. I wouldn't know if it's the norm, but I think it happens more than people think it does.

Yes, they do. I have a hard time believing you've never seen a man attach himself to a woman and leech off of her because they're in a relationship. Live in her apartment, drive her car, etc while she the main provider. Trust me, it happens. Edit: let me also just say: the "leech" descriptor is harsh and very much so a product of what I've seen happen to friends and family. This is not me implying that all men who are supported by their wife's/girlfriend's are leeches.

Having majority liberal women to engage with is one thing, but it's another to reason that you absolutely have to be deceptive in order to do so. And that you apparently take joy in it as well. So am I right in assuming that lying and getting with women under false pretenses is worth it to you? Those ends justify your deceptive and purposefully manipulative means?

This is so weird. Why waste your time on someone you aren't compatible with and be an asshole liar in the process? Is it really worth it?

Hmm no, I think that was just his assessment of how the legal system handles things to his knowledge, not his personal thoughts on the matter. He was trying to illustrate how these things actually play out. We all know how they SHOULD play out. Edit: Some of the things said at the end actually do give off a victim blamey vibe, especially when saying that those methods are the only tangible ways to prevent rape or at least tangible ways to ensure you'll be believed in a court of law. But I don't …

I can agree with this. The general "men eww" sentiment from women stems from that want to collectively demonize men for the sins of a few. Why this happens exactly, I'm not sure.

I don't even think women think they deserve an 8/10, it's just that anything less than that is seen as a moot point. What even is an 8/10 for women, though? Is it looks, money, emotional availability, a combination, etc?

Well, I'd say from her perspective she's willing and happy to listen to him talk about his interests because he's important to her. If you're trying for an eventual long term relationship, getting acquainted with what your person cares about is pretty important.

Women "choosing" to work seems like a disingenuous point because it implies that women previously chose the role of homemaker when they were actually barred from doing anything different. In reality, they just have all of the options that should have been on the board in the first place.

The answer we give you won't matter in the slightest. If we said no, then you would counter with your lived experience as I'm pretty sure you've already done to prove your point. If you think it does that's all that matters.

In this equation the man and his personal preference has little to do with the way constructed beauty standards affect women, how they are percieved in general, and their self esteem. It's one thing for a person to not be attracted to you, it's another for society at large to tell you you are worth less because you don't fit a standard it manufactured and expects you to follow. Besides, it can also just be called unrealistic. People constantly tout how indiscriminate male lust is and how they wi…

Men are picky in terms of what they actually think is attractive, they are just indiscriminate with sex because genuine attraction is not a requirement for that activity. Sure you can sleep with anyone but that doesn't mean you aren't picky about what you actually deem to be a good quality woman.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
